Located at the end of the road,with an acre and a half of privacy including 239' Hiwassee River Front. Lots of parking ,,secure fenced area for your pets,a level yard for outdoor sports and picnics next to sounds of the Hiwassee river rushing by, or relax on the porch rockers and swing.. You will find Trout Rivers Inn more than just a rental cabin.
Once inside, the main level consists of the living room,dining room,kitchen,half bathroom, master bedroom and a full bathroom. The master bedroom with king size bed & tv, opens up to a full length covered deck. Below the deck is a secured access down to the fenced area for your pets.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bathroom. On the main level, you have the king size bed and bathroom with tub and shower.
You are 5 minutes to Walmart, grocery shopping,restaurants and activities. The John Campbell Folk School is just a few miles away. 

We've supplied the cabin with an assortment of games for outdoor fun! New Casino is only 10 minutes away.

The location , the sound of the river , the deer eating in the back yard. The house was warm and cozy. The host was the best. We will be coming back.

The host was amazing leaving me a wonderful birthday gift upon our arrival. The location was gorgeous and the river sounds were so relaxing. I fell asleep on the swing listening to it. The house was very well supplied more than any other rental I have stayed in. The arrival steps was very well detailed and there was nothing outlined to do upon checkout which was unlike any other place we’ve stayed. We loved everything about our stay except the weather. If VRBO can control that we’re in trouble. Seriously one of the best stays we’ve had and already discussing when we can return. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

We loved staying here while family was in during our home renovation. Robbie is so accommodating and the home was perfect for us! we LOVED the river just outside and found the home well equipped and very close. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Host is amazing. So great to have the fenced area incase potty in middle of night. So private at dead end road. Great neighborhood to walk dog. So peaceful listening to river. We have been there twice and booking for next Sept. Thank you Robbie.

Family...so nice!!

Home was very nice had everything you needed, river was beautiful loved just listening...great outdoor area for family as well as pets. Secluded and yet really close to any store or restaurant you might need. Thanks for a wonderful 4th, will book again !!

Rushing river

The weather wasn’t the greatest while we were there. But it didn’t stop us from sitting on the porch, listening and watching the river go by and all the birds singing in the trees. Very relaxing house was very clean. Went to an alpaca farm where we were able to pet them. Had a good time will probably return.

Beautiful property

Great space! Nice area for our pup, we spent afternoons and mornings on front porch enjoying the river. Evenings area the fire pit :) definitely recommend!

Wonderful property and Owner

Excellent property,everything we needed was there. Had a horrible storm blow through prior to arrival with some flooding. Couldn't use dog area or yard for a few days. No fault of Owner. Hopefully returning soon.

Great Location

The house is in a great location. Pretty much 10 minutes away from stores. The House was well stocked with supplies and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Thanks for sharing you’re home with us!!

Peaceful Location

Peaceful location on the river and close to J.C. Campbell Folk School and Murphy. House was very comfortable. Host communications were great.

River front - Murphy

Nice home with very nice owner who is quick to respond with any questions or problems. House is stocked with just about everything you could need. Also had plenty of tissue , paper towels and detergent - this is something you rarely find in rentals. House was clean. The only reason for 4 stars there is floors could use a deep cleaning. I’m sure since it is pet friendly that’s hard to keep up with. It is at my home. Top two stairs are a little tricky as they are a different height than previous ones but I would love to stay again in warm weather where I could enjoy the river. It was freezing cold and began snowing while we were there

Beautiful old house on the river!

This was a perfect spot for us and our fur babies! We loved the location - close to town but far enough away to feel at peace with nature! The house was accurate with it's description and had everything we needed (because we were snowed in- but that was part of the plan!). There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms and we appreciated the bowls and blankets for our pups. Communication with the owner was phenomenal. Robbie went above and beyond to assure our safety to their home by allowing us to arrive early so we didn't have to drive in the storm. We would love to stay here again soon!

Christmas with family

What a wonderful place to stay for a getaway. The house was lovely. It was stocked with everything you could ask for. The beds were extremely hard otherwise, very cozy and relaxing. I definitely recommend staying here. My family and I will be back. Thank you for a great vacation.

He enjoys off-roading, collector cars, and railroads. Robbie enjoys kayaking, hiking, gardening, and reading. We are both active in volunteering for animal welfare groups.

We chose this property because of the beautiful location right on the Hiwassee River among the beautiful Smokey Mountains. We both have vacationed in the Smokey Mountains all of our lives.

The property is right on the Hiwassee River! You can watch and listen to the river from the front deck or enjoy the outdoor riverside seating. There is a grill and picnic tables for your convenience. You can also enjoy roasting hotdogs and marshmallows in the fire ring.
