Good holiday in a nice little town

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment has great ocean views and most of the time there was a lovely breeze in the main area to cool us down. The town had several great restaurants with friendly local people. We enjoyed swimming in the ocean and walking along the lovely stretch of beach every day. Of concern was that most days we could not lock the door/gate to the apartment but we went with ‘trust’ and everything was quite safe.

Stunning views from a unique apartment overlooking the beach and ocean, stylish and comfortable

This apartment provided a good variety of options for comfort - both air conditioned space as a refuge and open air/fanned spaces for enjoying immersion in the environment. There is a high level of environmental noise, no one thing is really bad, just altogether challenging at times. At all times the sound of the sea dominates which is a good sound. We found the people of San Agus very friendly, welcoming, helpful - an important part of the beauty of the place.

Nice place to stay

We had a good week at this nice place to stay. Quite luxurious compared to others in the area. Lovely kitchen and eating area. Quiet air conditioning in bedroom which was quite necessary during the nights. Though not during the day. Minor issues, though not a problem for us, late night dog barking and roosters crowing. Earplugs are supplied if you need them. But this is just a reality If you come to this area. All in all a very satisfying stay. Could be a problem if steep stairs are a problem for you. Otherwise I’d recommend this Casa.

Pretty Ocean Views

We had a great, relaxing time at Casa Mihale in San Agustinillo. I even managed to read several books. We especially loved the sights and sound of the ocean from the house. The town has a number of nice restaurants, including beach-side dining, little grocery stores, and a quiet atmosphere. If you want more excitement, Mazunte is a short walk away, and Zipolite is an easy colectivo or taxi ride away. We enjoyed ourselves.

Magical Casa Mihale

This was our 3rd visit to Casa Mihale and it never fails to amaze us. The layout of the apartment works perfectly and the view is beyond gorgeous. The decor is beautiful and there is everything you need to enjoy the beauty of San Agustinillo. Now that we are back in New York I miss the noise from the dogs and roosters but I especially miss the smells that waft up from the sand and the ocean. A beautiful home in the best village in the world.

Surf the waves on the open Pacific, hire a boat for sport fishing, or enjoy San Agustinillo's sheltered bay for more tranquil swims and snorkelling.
