For your next Florida Keys vacation, reserve a stay at this waterfront home located on a canal with easy access to either the Atlantic or the Gulf. This home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation with resort amenities at your backdoor.

Featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The master bedroom has a full bed with a lot of closet space and built in drawers and ceiling fan. The second bedroom has bunk beds with a full futon on bottom and twin on top, large TV, ceiling fan. Many closets located in hallway and entry. When family or friends stop in, the living room has a full sized sofa sleeper. The dining room has a large glass top table with 4 bamboo swivel chairs and two stools located at the breakfast bar. The kitchen features a glass top range, built in dishwasher . All the amenities you want in your home away from home, including central air, in-unit laundry, and wireless internet. This home features ceramic tile through out.

The resort features a large swimming pool, marina, tennis court, basketball court, pickel ball, ping pong tables and many planned activities. The Marina features a very handy convenience store for the things you may have forgotten.

Fish off your dock, bait and cleaning table mounted next to seawall. swim ladder on the seawall. seawall is tiled and a gas grill sits to the side. Enjoy a large 30' covered deck looking out the length of the canal. The Bikes and Kayaks will help fill your down time. The bike trails on Cudjoe Key run for miles along nature filled mangrooves and water flats.

Pictures were accurate

Tough check-in, wasn't on arrivals list at guard shack at 10:30 pm. Took quite awhile to get accesss to property,then entry code for door was wrong. Property manager dropped the ball, but out of state owner of property was contacted, twice, to straighten things out. He was very helpful. After that, no negatives. Kitchen is very well stocked, pictures show what you get. AC works well enough. Bathroom pretty small. 2 parking areas, unusual for Venture Out, which is a great place to stay if you have a boat. Fish cleaning table useful, no bait freezer. I go for fishing dawn to dusk, it met my needs. Grateful for owner's availability late at night.

Wonderful getaway!

The perfect place to stay on the water with your boat. Excellent fishing diving and snorkeling in the area! The house has everything you need! Just bring your food!

Didn't want to go home!

Its was very organized and had everything we needed. My grandkids fished everyday off the back canal. Pool was nice temperature, never crowded. Will stay again.

If you like camping

What what can I say. Not what I'm used to. I host for another platform and I must say it was an eye-opening experience to be able to stay somewhere where the standards are quite below par. First I guess there and the unit hasn't even been cleaned it turned over from the previous guest. The back door has a very peculiar method to be able for it to lock so I spent the first night without back door lock. I reached out to the contact person which took overnight to get back to me because of the holiday understandable. And unfortunate. Only to find out that there is minimal to no security on the unit IE as the codes are reused from guests to guest. Not comforting. They did try to make it right by having housekeeping come the next day. Not what I wanted to do on vacation. Although the campgrounds are great if you have your own RV and you to that lifestyle. The water in the shower was only a trickle. Although they had Community showers down the street. Once again not what I was expecting. Only to realize that there are plenty of other accommodation options just up and down the road. Even at the same reasonable prices. LOL chalk it up to an experience

Great stay!

This was our 9th stay at Venture Out and this property did not disappoint. Very clean, comfortable beds, great communication from property manager and plenty of dockage for our 27 ft boat. Would definitely book here again. Side note, and this has nothing to do with the property. Was a little disappointed with the trailer storage issue at Venture Out, it’s become difficult for boat owners having to pay $150-200 additional to keep your trailer off property, even though we could see plenty of empty trailer space in the lot. Too many young kids zooming about on golf carts and vehicles/boats parked on the roads. We love Venture Out but were disappointed with some of the rule changes.

Great memories made here!

My two teens and I enjoyed our time here. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens and pillows. Lots of comfortable seating. The amenities are great! There are many comforts of home here. Bikes to ride around. No Name Pub has great pizza. Captain Hooks,John Pennecamp and Key West night kayaking were great!

Perfect getaway!

We stayed here for our annual girls trip. We absolutely love this house. It is on a convenient street corner and has a large seawall to park the boat. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need and more! The beds are comfortable, the a/c works great, there is plenty of parking room, and the back deck is shady and comfortable. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

Another great stay!

Another great stay, wish I could order the beautiful weather every year! Nothing to do with this rental but, trailer parking is now extremely restricted- so no spots available even though it was not a "busy" time. We found a guy, only takes cash, close to Venture Out - Mitch 305-587-4565.

Enjoyed our stay

It was fine for what it is. Very outdated, could use a major facelift for the house to be brighter and more inviting. Overall was fine for sleeping there which is all we did, the rest of time was spent on the water.

Lovely Key Cottage

My family and I loved the place and the area in which is located. We felt comfortable and secured throughout our whole stay there. My nephews, ages 10 and 8 years old, enjoyed the pool and amenities in the community. Communication with the property manager was a little delayed, but not a big deal. One can figure things out, such as location of the key to unlock the bikes, kayaks etc. No biggie! The place has a homely atmosphere. Very friendly, relaxing and quiet neighborhood. Would most definitely recommend and rent here again. As a matter of fact, plans to return here at the end of summer are in the works. Thanks for the rental! Regards, Tom Fleming.

Weekend getaway

My wife and I brought our boat down to Venture Out and we had a great weekend. The property was just as described and we really enjoyed it. Would come back anytime.

Great property

Another stay at Venture Out for a fishing trip. Property was clean, tidy and had everything we could have asked for. Short drive to Key West, with local shops around the corner for essentials. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will be back again.

Great place, clean and quiet

Great place to stay for my husband and I. We were only 30 minutes North of Key West.. Our place was quiet and peaceful. We were able to cook breakfast every morning and even dinners. The place is nice and cozy and comfortable and the AC works great. Would stay again.

Awesome place to stay

This has to be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. At the end of the canal provided us a place to keep our boat and access the ocean. The cabin had a ton of storage and we really enjoyed the space. We loved it and will definitely come back.

Great central location to all the activities on other Keys.

Great place to stay if you aren't needing anything fancy. Nice location to other activities we planned on other keys. After eating out a couple of times and and being on a budget, it was nice to be able to grill our own seafood dinner - lobster, wahoo, cobia, crab claws all locally available to buy for less than half the price eating out! We really only discovered all the activities/amenities in the community later and didn't have much time left to enjoy them. If you just wanted a place to go to find warm weather, sun and a little activity, you really don't even need to leave the property! The bikes were nice to have to ride around and see what there was around. We lubed up the chains, but be careful - one fell off while riding. Front door doesn't really lock from the outside, but we felt pretty safe about our stuff while away. Gate fee was a little confusing - we were happy to not have to pay this, but we did pay the resort fee as indicated. All in all, we'd likely stay here again and try and use the amenities a little more.

Nice place in fun resort

We enjoyed our stay in the unit. We were quite surprised upon checking in that the gate fee was double the amount that was posted on the listing. The unit could use some updating (including sheets on full-sized bed that were a little scratchy and old throw pillows in living area), but overall, the home had everything we needed. In addition, the bikes need maintenance- loose chains). Our family enjoyed the resort’s recreational facilities- including the pool table and pickleball area. The close proximity to the public shower and restroom facility was a plus.

This property makes us feel at home. With enough living space for a large family and an additional parking space for guests this property is not as cramped as others we looked at. The second bedroom gives our teenagers their own space. We needed that!

This is a double lot with tropical landscape and an extra parking space for guests. The beautifully tiled seawall is great for our kids who don't remember to wear shoes. Bring your boat!
