The Space:

Relax by the solar heated pool or enjoy the spectacular water views on the covered balcony, sunsets, sunrises, ships and dolphins as they pass by. Entertaining is a breeze with the outdoor wicker chaise lounge suite and BBQ aptly provided for enjoying long summer days outdoors.

The deluxe in-ground solar heated pool (3m x 12.25m) is privately positioned behind the house and is beautifully protected from the elements. The stylish design evokes relaxation and peace. Recliners are provided poolside as is a covered entertainment area in front of the cabana.*

A modern style kitchen just inside the balcony adjoins the lounge facing an open fireplace alongside the large dining table (seats 12). A self contained studio wing is perfectly positioned alongside this area with another dining room (seating 8), chaise lounge suite (and fold out double sofa bed - suitable for children only and is must be pre-booked), TV, heating/cooling, kitchenette (with fridge and microwave) water views and access to the balcony. 2 bedrooms (one with a single and double bed) and another with a Queen and ensuite (Shower/Vanity/Toilet) can be accessed.

There are 4 further bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on this level, some of which can access the pool deck directly.

Downstairs is a large games room, complete with an open fireplace. A further bedroom with an ensuite is located at the rear. Aircon and heating throughout.

A large 2 car lock up garage is provided as is reverse cycle air conditioning and ducted heating throughout the house upstairs.

Please note:
(i) A Security Deposit (Bond) of $2,000.00 is required for all bookings.
We (Holiday Shacks) will email you a week prior to your stay requesting payment of bond, with a link to pay this.
A 2.5% credit card surcharge applies to credit/debit card payments.
After your stay, we process the return of your bond within 14 working days to process, once our housekeeping teams have checked and serviced the property and no bond deductions need to be made.

(ii) Terms and conditions will be automatically emailed to guests after their reservation is confirmed via email. Please note Holiday Shacks requires all guests to sign and fill out a No Party Policy document as part of our traveller verification process. Your booking is not confirmed until your traveller verification process has been conducted and confirmed by us.

(iii) Pets are allowed but the pet breed and age must be approved with us prior. Max 1 dog.

(iv) 2 x hotel style trundle beds can be provided with linen upon request. Please request at the time of booking to ensure availability. Please note regarding bedding: The U/S Lounge suite unfolds to a double bed and is suitable for children only.

(v) We do not accept schoolies, bucks/hens bookings, groups under 28 years of age, nor do we accept parties or events due to strict council regulations. This excludes family bookings travelling with children under 18 years of age.

Family Weekend Celebration
Property was an appropriate size for the 12 members of our party, with number of rooms/beds/bathrooms enabling everyone to get ready for our family event. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated at all, which made it unusable with the cool weather. With young children staying, the games room was a hit, but our expectation of being able to have a swim was not fulfilled. There were a couple of small issues. The lighting appears to have been getting upgraded throughout the house, but painting of the plaster patches is yet to be done. The door of the wall oven in the kitchen didn't close properly when using the oven. The grounds outside could have been mowed and tidied up a bit more, given the price point of the property. Overall our family had a very enjoyable stay for the long weekend.

Not recommended
Wrong internet information made us choose this property. Owner could easily have solved the serious fault, but simply refused. One of the poorest cases of customer treatment/service I have come across. The property has great potential but is tired and is in need of careful considerations from a number of perspectives to warrant a stay by discernible clients. What was to be a very special occassion for the family could easily have become the expected outcome with a minimum understanding of the owner. Not an agreement we could recommended to enter into.

Nothing like listing
The property needs a lot of maintenance done. A lot of patches around the house that need to be painted. There is no A/C in the bedrooms or Downstairs, and the windows are not allowed to be open. Needs more lights around the house as it’s quite dim. The waste in the showers kept clogging up and water was coming out. For the price you pay to stay at the property you wouldn’t expect it to have these issues.

Poor web site
Poor web site resulting in me being charged "bank" fees Took many calls to get detailed invoice. Lighting in some areas poor bulbs missing Property ok but older than portrayed. It suited our requirements.
