Experience a relaxing Hawaiian vacation in one of Maui's most serene oceanfront settings. Despite the devastating fire in Lahaina, Puamana remains a haven of tranquility and beauty, where the spirit of "Old Hawaii" lives on. Unit 9-1 is located within Puamana, a gated, 30-acre oceanfront community featuring high-quality attached homes nestled along the sunny south shore. This updated vacation home offers the perfect escape for creating unforgettable memories with family and friends in a warm, tropical setting.

While Lahaina Town is undergoing recovery, Puamana’s peaceful environment allows you to enjoy Maui’s natural beauty away from crowds, while still being just a short drive from nearby shops and restaurants in neighboring areas. The oceanfront location offers direct access from the lanai/lawn to the beach at low tide, ideal for launching a stand-up paddleboard or surfing.

This 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome includes two master suites with king-size beds, a third bedroom with a king-size bed, and a fourth with two twin beds, ensuring privacy and comfort for everyone. Central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a fully equipped, renovated kitchen are at your disposal. The dining and living areas, recently redecorated, frame stunning ocean views. Enjoy outdoor dining and grilling on the oceanfront lanai with expansive palm tree-filled lawns—the perfect setting for relaxation.

Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool, tennis court and pickleball court are also open and available for use.

Loved this property. The kitchen was fully outfitted and we cooked a lot while we were there. The best part is the lanai and the beach access. We’d love to stay here again.

A wonderful place for our family vacation. It was everything we hoped for. The beach was footsteps away, never crowded (we were often the only ones there). There was eight of us and we never felt crowded in or out of the house. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We contacted them about the gas for the grill which was taken care of promptly, one tv was not working, they tried very hard to resolve before we left but were unable to. I refuse to take away a star for that. This property far exceeded our expectations it just flat out deserves all the stars possible. AC was great, kitchen was well appointed. Plenty of towels (even for the beach) That’s a big deal for 8 people. We all would stay again in a heartbeat. Mahalo to the hosts.

Wonderful location & layout

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 9-1 Puamelia. The house’s proximity to the ocean was even closer than the pictures indicated. We loved hearing the crashing waves at night and seeing the gorgeous deep blue ocean from the house and patio during the day. The kitchen was very well equipped and we appreciated the beach chairs and towels that were provided. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and had plenty of storage space for our clothes, etc. The location was excellent. We did not have a chance to use the pool, but it is very close to the unit. We absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Beautiful view and unit

Unit was as described and provided a welcoming home base for our week in Maui. The home was well equipped and had everything that we needed - and the immediate beach access was appreciated. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to return again.

Wonderful property for a family vacation.

We were extremely pleased to find that the access to the beach was just across the lawn. The entire family was out enjoying the ocean on paddle boards and body boards every day. We walked the beach and saw whales and turtles from this location. We loved eating out on the patio every morning and evening. The size of the unit was right sized for our family of 8. We all agreed that this property was perfect for us.

We all thoroughly enjoyed staying in the property. It was clean, spacious, well-appointed with high quality dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, cookware, etc. Every room was tastefully decorated. The stoneware in the showers were beautiful. We completely enjoyed the condo and hope to return there in the near future.

VERY Disappointed !!

After staying in two other excellent 5 star VRBOs (at similar pricing) on this trip we were very disappointed in the overall condition and cleanliness of this unit. Pictures on VRBO are very old and heavily filtered, almost to the point of attempting to deceive. The property has been used and abused for many years and it shows. They turn off the air conditioning when not rented so it smells like mildew for the first two days. Everything was dirty from the kitchen backsplash to the showers, sinks, and microwave. The cabinet handles were filthy and rusting, and the floors and baseboards were so dusty it was stuck on. It appeared that the host / owner did the very minimum upkeep on the property. I would not recommend this unit to anyone that appreciates a clean living space. Other than the location to the ocean and shops on Front street there is nothing that this unit has to offer. very old and dated.

Perfect Lahaina location

The rental unit was exactly as advertised, and provided the perfect location for our family vacation on Maui. The location was in a quite, family oriented area, yet within walking distance to the huddle and bustle of Front Street in Lahaina. The unit itself was modern, clean, and provided all the necessities and accessories need to make our stay comfortable and extremely enjoyable. We unanimously agreed, we’d all come back for our next stay if the opportunity to rent this unit again was available. Thank you very much for your hospitality, it added immensely to our overall experience, and we are truly grateful for everything.

Family Vacation

Perfect house for the family to enjoy a family trip together. Very close to Lahaina, a cool town with many shopping and eating options. Driving distance to all activities Maui has to offer.
