Kalapana is truly ā€œPrivacy in Paradiseā€ as the home is surrounded by 1.5 acres of lush tropical gardens and fruit trees, in the beautiful neighborhood of Launiupoko, Lahaina. This luxury home is fully air-conditioned and features an expansive 'great room' spilling onto an outdoor lanai with unobstructed views of our neighboring islands. The pool captures the same views and is surrounded with ample outdoor seating and chaise lounges. The elevated jacuzzi for 8 is a great place to start your day or catch the sunset. Adjacent to the pool area is an outdoor shower made private with lava rock construction and foliage.
The 'great room' separates the bedrooms for maximum privacy with a master bedroom suite in one wing and 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths in the other. Above the great room is a spacious loft with pool table, wet bar, and Eurolounger. The master bedroom features a dual walk-in shower and oversized tub.
The loft includes a complete ā€˜business center' with printer/scan/copy capabilities. Bring your laptop and share your experiences while staying in touch. We are also equipped with a SONOS music system.
The bedrooms are elegantly furnished with new Simmons Heavenly beds made famous in Starwood Hotels. There is a Heavenly California King bed in the master, Heavenly King and Heavenly Queen in the other 2 guest rooms.
Kalapana is at an elevation of 700 ft. and only 10 minutes from Lahaina . Total interior living space is over 3,500 sq. ft. plus a wrap-around lanai (terrace). Spacious walk in closets are featured in two of the bedrooms. There is an enclosed garage and fitness area which contains Powerblocks, yoga mats, stationary bike, and rowing machine. The neighborhood offers wonderful walking, hiking, and biking trails.
Kalapana is part of a farmstead and in addition to the gardens includes 2 organic fruit orchards. Guests are welcome to (and encouraged!) to pick the avocado, banana, orange, grapefruit, guava, tangerine, lemon, lime, starfruit, and much more. Start your day with fresh fruit straight from the garden.
The chef's kitchen is open to the great room and enjoys the same panoramic views. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and service for 12.
The lanai and lawn areas include a gas BBQ, several seating and lounge areas, and a large dining table set under a large pergola. The expansive lawn has a hammock for reading or napping, and is a great place for a game of croquette, bocce ball, or corn hole.
There are plenty of pool toys and beach gear for your use, including beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, pool loungers and beach towels. We also have children's toys, a high chair, and pack and play you're welcome to use.

This property was absolutely gorgeousā€¦both inside and outside! Gorgeous sunset views over Lanai and calm ocean views all day. The house has everything you could possibly need! An abundance of beach/pool toys to use!!! The house is situated only 10 minutes outside of Lahaina and close to everything to explore on the island. So much to doā€¦and how wonderful to come home every day to a lovely pool and hot tub!!Maya was great to work withā€¦and we will definitely stay again!

The home is gorgeous. The pool, hot tub, out door shower, the view, the hospitality of our host Maya, it was all top notch. There was not 1 time when we needed something that it was not already there for us. (Bug spray, extra towels, siran wrap, scissors, detergent, toys for the beach, boogie boards etc) they have thought of it all. Orchard was beautiful as well. The drive down the hill towards the beach is breathtaking. Great location, not far from anything we wanted to do. It is exactly as promised plus so much more. Dont skip this house, it is worth it!

Just Incredible

No regrets whatsoever. We spent eight nights at this home and woke up each morning to picture perfect views. The house had everything we needed for excellent beach days and quiet, comfortable private chill nights!. We toured a lot of different beaches while we were there but the beach right down the street from this home was perfect and calmer than most so our kids had a safe place to play. Warning to bring some water shoes with you as there are plenty of rocks out in the ocean, but plenty of sand to chill and itā€™s only like three minutes from the house. Maya was great and super responsive. A hose on the pools vacuum cleaner broke and she was there right away to take care of it for us and even gave us some pointers on good places to eat in the area. We considered resorts and tried to find something beachfront, and wondered constantly before we got there if we made the right decision. It was without a doubt, the best decision for our first trip to Hawaii! We will be back for sure!

Amazing Property!

I cant say enough about this rental or the property manager. The house was as described in every way and the best place we've ever stayed. It was such a great property that we spent more time just hanging around the house and pool than anything else. The kitchen is so well equipped we had everything we needed and cooked most of our meals at home. The property manager Maya was super responsive and helpful if we had questions. The check process was also super easy. Hope we can come stay again soon!

Maui o ka maikaā€™i ( Maui is the best)

Itā€™s so great a location. Just minutes away from surfing spots and picture perfect sunsets and sunrises. The Ditch trail was close by and we walked it daily. For dinner we usually grilled fresh fish at the house, but when we wanted something special, we found a variety of restaurants on Lower Honoapiilani Road. But the house itself was very comfortable and very well equipped with bathroom and kitchen supplies. This is a place that we would like to return to again and again

Paradise!

Mayaā€™s property was wonderful! It had a beautiful view of the Ocean and neighboring islands. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for morning, evening or all day! The accommodations inside the home were very comfortable and Maya did not miss a thing with all the extras in the home. We would definitely return for another stay in paradise!

We spent our honeymoon in absolute paradise at this property! We thoroughly loved the gorgeous Maui views, hopping in the pool and hot tub whenever we wanted, picking fruit from the orchard and grilling fresh meals! 10/10 experience

Perfect Paradise

This property is everything one could hope for in a Maui getaway and more. Maya is lovely to work with, the property exceeded all expectations and pictures truly did not do it justice. Everything was perfectly clean, ready for our arrival, and even small touches showed hospitality that went above and beyond. We cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to come back.

5 days in paradise

We had an incredible time during our stay. The property is stunning, you wake up to the mist beautiful views every morning, and the house literally has everything you need. Not to mention the location of the house is perfection, as youā€™re super close to several local beaches and food spots, and the neighborhood itself is beautiful. Maya is an excellent host and we will be looking to book with her again for our next visit!
