You've found your cozy, quiet cabin getaway! This cabin is oozing with woodsy charm....a warm fireplace and everything you will need to enjoy a short visit or a long stay. The well equipped kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a feast if you so desire. 1 bedroom on main level with queen bed, a loft that has 2 twins, a double size futon in the living room and one bath. The town of Idyllwild offers many restaurant and entertainment options as well as opportunities to experience nature with many hiking trails etc.

The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. We loved our stay there and wished we could have stayed longer! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Also very quiet. We loved being able to enjoy the fireplace at night while reading or watching a movie on the tv.

The cabin was super cute and very nicely decorated. There was enough space for my wife and I and our two dogs. Tim the host was very responsive and helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet with friendly people. Absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! The cabin is extremely cozy, warm, and comfortable. Everything was well cleaned and the bathroom was spacious and spotless which was important to me.The lazy gnome cottage is well-equipped, with clear instructions and thoughtful notes around the cabin, which made everything easy. The host was very responsive and helpful. With rainy days during our stay, this cozy cabin was the perfect place to relax. We stayed for 3 days with my husband and our fur baby and really enjoyed it. Would happily return again!
Very thankful Tim shared his ebleskiver pan for me to have an opportunity to make them! I brought a lot of flour and other panties for this😄

Tom & Karen,Thank you so much for an amazing stay at your cottage – it was pure perfection! We absolutely loved everything about it, and our dog did too. Being so close to town made our getaway even better, and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and beautiful spot. We’ll definitely be rebooking when we visit again.

Nice cozy place

The place was just great.Centrally located to everything downtown. We enjoyed our stay very much, our dog Romeo had a good time also. Would recommend and hope to stay again.

We loved basically everything. Comfortable bed, functional kitchen, cozy living room and dining room. I'd be happy living here. We have stayed in many different places, and we can't think of anything that would need to be improved in any way. Was well equipped, cozy and comfortable, secure and peaceful. We spend most of Saturday laying in the hammock looking at the tree tops, that was perfect. We didn't need to reach out to the host for any situation because everything went perfectly for us. We feel lucky to have found this place and we hope to come back someday soon.

Very Cozy Cabin

Idyllwild is an adorable town and this cabin matches the vibe. Lots of nice touches like extra blankets, laundry detergent in the cabinet was a nice surprise, there cute signs everywhere and lots of cooking supplies. The loft was fun for the kids, overall just what we needed for a fun weekend getaway.

Great rental

The host and hostess went above and beyond with an abundance of cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, and towels. Everything was made very accessible we had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place Tim and Karen were wonderful and we can't wait to do it again. Absolutely wonderful experience!!

Awesome Cabin, Relaxing Stay

This cute little cabin is PERFECT if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts and amenities of home. Loved the private location and proximity to town and the fact it was dog friendly! Very accommodating as were the hosts. Great communication from start to finish.

Perfect mountain getaway

My wife and I just returned from a quick weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect!! Very cozy in a quiet area of Idyllwild. Kitchen was well stocked and bed was very comfortable. We also utilized the front deck quite a bit to enjoy the weather and wildlife. Can’t wait to come back!

We are parents of two grown girls and two loving pups! We have lived in Southern California for 22 years. Our previous home was in Eugene, OR. We have always yearned to have a quiet place in the woods to take us back to the feelings of "getting into nature" that we used to enjoy when living in the Pacific Northwest. This year we were able to realize this dream by purchasing our cute little cabin. We so enjoy spending time here in the quiet and want to share this experience with others.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The proximity to the charming village of Idyllwild was our main reason for choosing this location. It's only about a mile from the village and has beautiful cedars as well as mountain views. We are also very close to many hiking trails. The sunny deck in front is a great place to relax as well as enjoy the sunset. While our little cabin is on a private unpaved road, access is easy as we are the first house on the road. Since the cabin is set lower than the main street, there is a feeling of privacy here.

The craftsmanship of the interior is unique and whimsical. There is actually a little house within the house where the wall between the kitchen and dining room was crafted as a little house with roof, chimney and other details, with a pass-through that can be closed with little shutters.
