Luxury Custom Beach House on Plum Island!

A perfect family beach house, truly one of the gems of Plum Island. A beautiful home with all the amenities you would expect in a premium beach property. Custom built about this home and the Island combined give you a relaxing vacation you have been looking for. The house is on southern part of the island, located across the street from the ocean giving great water views with amazing sunrises. The beach access is a short walk away. House is great for two families. Parking can accommodate up to six cars.

FIRST FLOOR DESCRIPTION
First Floor contains an open kitchen/living/dining room area. For those that like to cook, the gourmet kitchen is outfitted with top of the line appliances including Jenn Air oven, dishwasher and dual convection microwave oven and refrigerator. The dining table comfortably seats 8 people, bar area has seating for five.

Master1 is bright and stylish located off the kitchen/dining area, sporting a beautiful rattan king size headboard with teal colored accessories along with private bath. The ensuite bathroom includes his and hers sinks along with luxurious multiple shower head system.

The Study off the main living/dining room area provides a sanctuary to rest, relax and catch up on your favorite reading. This room affords one of the best views of the ocean and contains a pull-out sofa bed. A half bath is located just outside of the room.

There is a stereo receiver located in the family room which is connected to built in speakers throughout the house. You can listen to the radio or plug your iphone/personal device.

SECOND FLOOR DESCRIPTION
The second floor is the home of the Rec room containing a pool table. A great gathering space includes flat screen for movies and video games (including Wii Sport and Xbox games) along with a sectional sofa that opts as queen size pull-out.

Master 2 has a king bed with beautiful ocean views, his and hers built in closets that open up to the master bathroom equipped with jacuzzi. Master bath has a multiple shower head system along with a one-of-a kind Tornado Body Dryer (dries you head to toe in minutes).

The Bunk Room suite contains a full bed along with bunk beds and a full bathroom and closet.

BACKYARD AND LOCATION
There is a private backyard patio and grill to enjoy the late day sun. Patio has seating for 6 along with 5 adirondack chairs with evening lighting and an outdoor shower.

House is eco-friendly built with 48 solar panels.

House is located across the street from the ocean making it convenient to walk to either of the two closest public beach access paths to the north or south of the home. The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge is only a 10-minute walk as well as Plum Island Center. Historical Newburyport is a 5 minute drive, home to some the Northshoreā€™s top restaurants, shops, theaters, museums, and nightlife.

House is available for winter rental - starting mid September.

Perfect wedding week vacation

Casa Las Truchas was a perfect home base for our wedding weekend. It was a spacious, comfortable, lovely home large enough for our family and located in an idyllic location. It was close to our wedding venue and had easy access to whatever we needed. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants a great beach stay.

We had a lovely stay on Plum Island. The house is a minute walk to the beach. Not to mention the ocean views from the bedroom and living area windows. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and answered any questions promptly. We were there for a business and I hope to bring the family back and enjoy the beach more. Highly recommend.

A chill beach getaway

My sister is getting married in September and wanted the most relaxing bachelorette weekend. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place. The house was spacious, clean, beautiful and the location was perfect! Between having the beach just steps away and being so close to the cute town. Itā€™s a great place to be. Great beach house and location

We stayed here and visited both Boston and Portland. The location was almost perfectly between the two. The house was great, the beach was amazing, and the owner was very responsive. Highly recommend this location. In fact, I might say the pics donā€™t do it justice, just a great place all around.

Beautiful home plenty of space for everyone, plenty of bathrooms, a one minute walk to the beach. It was perfect for a small wedding for my son and his husband. My reservation was for eight people. My only recommendation is having appropriate amount of face cloths as we only had about 4-5. Thank you for sharing this home with us

Our stay was amazing! The house had the perfect amount of space for our annual family beach trip with 6 adults and 2 kids. The house is located steps away from the beach, and the upstairs loft area allows for plenty of room to hang, play card games, or pool. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views of the ocean were breath-taking! Lisa, the owner, was more than accommodating and available by text for any questions. We have stayed at several rentals on Plum Island and this is by far the best one! We can't wait to come back next year :-)

Better than advertised

The house has everything that anyone would need. A wonderful view of the ocean, its spacious, access to the beach and of course you are on Plum Island. Newburyport is a 10 minute ride away with wonderful restaurants, shops etc. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this wonderful beach house.

Loved staying here for our family vacation! House had everything we needed between the kitchen utensils, linens/towels, and bbq grill. House was clean and welcoming. Some nice cut flowers when you arrive. Beach is really close. Sunrises are a must. Either walk to the beach or just look out the window. The pool table was a nice touchā€¦played every night! Kids liked the stereo system that connected thru the house. Plenty of beds and space. Nice neighborhood. Short walk to see the sunset. Outdoor shower was nice too! Easy check in and check out. Would stay there again! 5 stars!

First class service

The house was clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Bill (the manager) was available the entire time if we had needed him. Location was great with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool table was a wonderful addition since we were there during winter. The kitchen appliances are top of the line, it made cooking meals enjoyable. I would highly recommend this house!!!

Amazing!!

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time - we wish we could have stayed longer! This was by far one of the nicest and most well equipped properties weā€™ve rented. Lisa was very responsive and made sure we had all information in advance. Super helpful! The house is truly lovely and very well maintained and organized. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and other amenities. The kids loved the pool table and bonus room. Also, the showers were amazing with multiple shower heads - felt wonderful after a long hot day at the beach!! It is just a 2 minute walk to the beach and the house also has amazing views of the ocean. Itā€™s also just a 10 minute walk to a couple of local bars/restaurants, market and ice cream. We canā€™t wait to rent again - we will definitely back!!

Ideal beach vacation

Amazing location just steps to the beach with waters views out almost every window. The home was stocked with everything necessary - beach chairs, toys, k-cups, books, game, dvd's. For a luxury home it was incredibly comfortable. We stayed for a long weekend but felt like we were there for a month. We all cannot wait to return to this home!

Great Getaway

This home was beautiful. Looking out the front windows and watching the ocean was the best. It was only a short walk to the beach access from the house. All of the accommodations were so nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope that we have a chance to return.

Beach House Wonderful- Property Manager Not

This is a Wonderful Beach House. The photos online don't quite capture the beauty of this rental. The kitchen is fully stocked and gorgeous with topline appliances. They provide everything one needs to create great meals with friends and family even including a mint muddler! The location is great and the sounds of the ocean across the street delightful to lull you to sleep. Midweek of our rental we received notification from HomeAway that there were "Additional charges" that the property manager expected us to pay- apparently for rental taxes that had been enacted in January of 2019 and that were being implemented as of June 2019. We had completed our contract with HomeAway in May which states that all taxes and fees were included. We responded via text that we had paid in full as per the contract and this new request was very upsetting . The property manager arrived shortly thereafter and stated that "everyone else" had paid the additional fees. We requested to speak to the Owner but the property manager flatly declined our request. After this point the manager was quite hostile and physically aggressive. At our departure the property manager also appeared and we waited as he searched the house for "problems" and he found a small stain on the furniture which we promptly cleaned. Given his behavior, we expected him to attempt to deduct money from our security deposit despite resolving the issue. We left a list of minor problems that he could fix between rentals such as lightbulbs and switches not working. We refilled the propane at our expense. Overall it is a beautiful rental. Unfortunately the stay was partially ruined by the behavior of the property manager who apparently had been unaware of the new taxes and chose extortion in an attempt to collect fees for which he may ultimately be responsible. Fortunately, we did receive our security deposit back in full. We strongly recommend this rental but not with the current property manager.

There is a Wow factor when you first walk in. Then itā€™s OMG when you go out back and see the patio, grill, furniture. Iā€™ve rented dozens of vacation houses and never had one as well stocked as this one right down to a generous starter supply of Kcups. Spotlessly clean. Great location for the beach.

Wonderful house

The house is very well maintained with all modern amenities. The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of cooking tools. Beach access is very close (less than a two minute walk). Our family loved our stay here and the beautiful town of Newburyport.

Our family of 6 loved the house and the views of the ocean from both levels of the house. The kitchen is to die for. The walk to the beach was basically 2 houses up and over with a nice ramp to get down to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definately reccomend this home to others.

Luxury by the beach

My family just had the most amazing week at this fantastic Plum Island beach house. The views of the ocean, short walk to the beach, clean pristine amenities and massive floor plan makes this rental a first class location. This house has two massive master bedroom suites, the home is warm and inviting with a wonderful gourmet kitchen space. The management of this property was very accommodating and we felt extremely comfortable. Our family was very sad to depart this morning but we are already trying to plan a return visit. We highly recommend this gorgeous rental property.
