Great barn, very clean and the host goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. Lots of nice touches like snacks and travel size toiletries if needed. Even had a personalized welcome sign. Lovely stay and we will be back.

Great experience! That was such a friendly cat and sometimes a little dog, that would greet us each time we would arrive. They were great hosts. The pony and donkey were friendly too. It was very peaceful. A great contrast to the craziness of game day Athens. Everything was well appointed and clean, loved our stay.

Hosts are great ! A special place where you find peace and happiness amongst the rest of the world !Love the Animals ; especially our friend Dilbert the Dog; we prepare and bring them some special treats for Dawgs and Cats and enjoy quality time with them and at the pavilion and Lake ;Very special place ? 33 acres ; Brooks ; deer;possum Dog cats all in play !Fun Times; great shops close !peace Fish and fun ! We absolutely loved our stay at Penny Lane. The hosts were very accommodating and we loved all the animals. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We hope to stay here again in the future. Please give Faye Lou some scritches for me when you are there!

Very special place. Everything was prefectly appointed. The privacy views, trails and location were just what I was hoping for. An easy, convenient drive into Athens, but felt like a world away. Comfortable, great quality bed, bedding, towels and kitchenware. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful setting, peaceful, quaint farm/barn lodging that was very well appointed. There was a lot of thinking into the small details that made the stay even better. No hassle check in or out and communication was great! The animals were adorable and friendly. A short drive to Athens. We will be back next year.

Wonderful weekend

This property is really beautiful and the barn is so cozy and relaxing. It was very clean and definitely a place that would be nice to return again to one day.

Perfect little getaway

We absolutely loved this place! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. The actual place is cozy and cute and well-equipped with everything we needed. And the animals are just the sweetest, cutest little welcoming committee❤️

Athens bliss

Quiet farm house location 15 minutes away from downtown Athens. Good spot to visit son at UGA. Bed was comfy and location quiet with farm animals. Would rent again.

Relaxing getaway

Really enjoyed our stay here. The animals were so friendly and Dilbert the dog walked with us to and from the lake as though he knew where we were headed. Super soft bath towels and extra amenities were available just in case you forgot something. They thought of everything! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay on a lovely property

Wonderful property, kind hosts, generous accommodations and a relaxing atmosphere. The barn cats, doggies, horse and donkey were very sweet, weren't a bother at all and added to the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the paved walking trail and ability to stretch my legs after a long drive.

We had a great stay! We arrived later than expected, but Leslie was there with the lights on for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property is wonderful, with beautiful views, and we really enjoyed spending time with the miniature horse, the donkey, and the two friendly cats roaming around.The location is perfect—only about 7 miles from Sanford Stadium. We’ll definitely be back next year for another game, and we wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else.Thank you, Leslie! We truly appreciated your warm hospitality.

Peace and Quiet in Georgia

The owner was very accommodating and the property was just gorgeous! It was so peaceful! The pasture with the miniature donkey and pony was an added bonus! ❤️

Don't hesitate to book this beautiful getaway! No detail has gone unnoticed and the cleanliness is very refreshing. I wish every place we have stayed was this clean!! Bonus..lots of cute friendly animals. We can't wait to return!
