The Modern Moon Park Loft is the perfect location to enjoy downtown Anchorage and the great outdoors. The property is across the street from Valley of the Moon Park which includes access to the best bike trail system in Anchorage: West Chester Lagoon and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The property has a large south facing deck with incredible natural light. The modern furniture and accessories are visually appealing for a homey, clean and comfortable stay. Bikes and park/yard games included.
A binder with the best local restaurants, coffee shops and activities available upon check-in. The location is ideal for visitors because it's walking distance to many of the best local restaurants including Snow City for breakfast, SteamDot Coffee downtown location, Kaladi Brothers in Sagaya, Fire Island Bakery, Simon's and Seaforts, 49th State Brewery, Glacier Brewhouse and more. If you want to participate in a little outdoor physical activity, hop on the complimentary cruiser bicycles toward West Chester Lagoon on the Coastal Trail. Additionally, I would recommend watching the sunset at Point Woronzof or Kincaid Park via bike or car. Flattop Mountain Trail is the most popular hike. It's a 1.7 mile hike one way with 1300 feet elevation gain. There is also a nice lookout for photos if you do not wish to hike up. I definitely recommend driving to Girdwood and visiting the Alyeska Ski Report and Hotel. It's a nice, scenic drive along the Turnagain Arm with several pull-outs for photos along the highway. The Chugach Mountains will be on the left and Kenai Mountains on your right. You may see Dall sheep, eagles, beluga whales, people surfing the bore tide, rock climbing, hang gliding and more. The Alaska Railroad system is another great way to see Alaska! If you have enough time, I recommend visiting Seward, Homer, and Kenai to the south and Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks to the north.
