Can’t really put into words how incredible this property is- The screened in porch overlying the mountains was probably my favorite. It’s super close to Waipa/Haena state park, Wainiha and Hanalei. Our favorite beach was Tunnels in the morning. The bed is comfy and soft. There is a DVD player with Jurassic Park- we enjoyed coming home to watch this movie after long hikes, all with the backdrop of what looks like Jurassic park out your windows. We loved it and recommend it highly!

The property was amazing. We walked in and were wowed by the beautiful house and the fantastic views. We visited the park from the house and the wonderful beaches ( which were in walking distance). The coffee shop in the local village was a great bonus too.The property had everything we needed, especially the air conditioning in the bedroom! We loved watching the ever changing view from the deck. Definitely take your binoculars so you can watch the birds in the trees!The host was easy to contact and cleared up any questions we had.If we are lucky enough to come back we would book again and will recommend it to friends.Thank you for sharing a bit of paradise with us.

Chose this Vrbo for the view, and the wife was a big fan of the place. The AC in the bedroom was very effective, and the place would have been too hot had it not been working, so we really liked having the AC. If you are wanting to do a drive up to the canyon there aren't many places that will be a further drive, but the drive wasn't too long for us, and we got to stay on the North Shore, which we discovered was our favorite part of the island! We would stay again.

The most epic lanai. The views and general experience in the lanai made this place super hard to deal with. It was just so nice to hang out there that we had a difficult time leaving to do other things! Highly recommended will definitely go back!

More amazing than the pictures!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for something near the Na Pali coast. This place was tucked away with an idyllic view of the mountains. Second to none. The place was clean and in good order - AC in the bedroom. It’s a short drive from Tunnels beach and Hanalei Bay. But really a short walk from the nearest beach. Wonderful stay!

A beautiful home and location with a great view up a valley and to the mountains. It felt like you were in a treehouse surrounded by tropical delight. Nice location on north side of the island convenient to many beeches and Hanalei. I really hate to say anything negative but a big downside were many neighborhood dogs barking all the time. It was VERY loud up on the lovely lanai and we were not able to enjoy it.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was great for accessing beaches and a short drive to town (a car is a must). The beach towels and beach chairs were very helpful. The noise of the dogs and roosters are significant but the white noise machine and air conditioner noise are helpful. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful property

Our stay was amazing. The home was in the perfect location to explore the north shore, surrounded by lush rain forest, yet minutes from the beach. Great communication with the host. I look forward to staying here again.

Jungle cottage

A great place to explore the north side of the island. Short drive to everything, and the wonderful, large screen porch for relaxing on a rainy afternoon.

Not many views like this…. If you have the opportunity take it! The hunting dogs on certain nights are no big deal, you can’t hear anything when ac is running in the bedroom.

Beautiful view. I can't say that enough, it has an amazing view. High top in a valley surrounded by lush tropical palms and trees. Birds flying through. Bordered by high green mountain all around. The lanai is large. The house is small only one bedroom, perfect for a couple. Not high end but very nice and cozy. It is away from the crowds a tourists. It is deep into north coast of Kauai.

The views alone make this 5 stars. Location is quiet and beautiful. Proximity to Tunnels was great. We had everything we needed. AC in the bedroom was fantastic.The dogs others have mentioned do bark like mad at times and it can be a bit annoying. If you are very squeamish about nature, this is probably not the right place for you, but we love it and enjoyed our stay very much.

In the trees above a mountain valley

Definitely a unique property, unlike any other, the elevated living level was located up above the forest floor and provided privacy and views. The layout was open and the number of windows, screened porch and orientation towards the valley and mountains beyond made it enjoyable to stay there.
