The house was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, the kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace was wonderful and used many nights. We were only able to see the stars one night due to the weather but when we did it was amazing. We will highly recommend the property and the management!!

Great birthday trip

We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub, having a bonfire, and even got to see plenty of lightning bugs which are something I have not seen in years. I would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Weekend Getaway

Amazing property! This was the perfect get away to escape with the kids for a weekend. House was beautiful and peaceful, very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space outside for activities. We flew kites, played soccer and went on walks near the woods to explore. Also, would recommend the Driftless nature center - fun activity for the kids with native reptiles to view and hold. Tons of parks and outdoor exploring near the area. Dinner in Lansing Iowa at Sheps was fun, good bar food. Close drive to LaCross which had a fun downtown area. Would definitely come back!

Lovely Long Weekend Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were looking for a few days to get out of town for the end of our Spring Break and definitely got that here. We loved the seclusion and the house itself. We would love to come back sometime in the Fall to see the property and surrounding area in the Fall colors. We would recommend this house in a heartbeat!

Fall trip 24

What a perfect secluded cabin just minutes from the Mississippi River! All the amenities you would hope for! I’m a motorcycle guy so being able to ride the hills and dales of this area is a big highlight for me! Coming back to the cabin, a grill, a hot tub and a fire pit after a day of sightseeing is the perfect combo! Knutson does everything right!

Driftless Vacation

Our family felt right at home in the cabin and enjoyed making meals together, having nightly fires for s’mores and relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the stars. Very relaxing and within driving distance of shopping, dining and hiking opportunities in Viroqua, Lansing and MacGregor, IA.

Anniversary

This was so perfect! Secluded, very private, clean and charming. We stayed 3 nights and only left the property once. On a clear night the stars are so bright. We loved the outdoor hot tub and being out in nature. We highly recommend this property.

Cozy and clean

Very nice property! The area around the cabin is beautiful and the cabin itself is very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely return. Would suggest more dish towels and washcloths be available in the kitchen.

NewYear Vacation

My boyfriend and two other couples spent NewYear here and we had such a great time. The property was as described and before we went the owner called me and told me the property was all ready for us. Above and beyond and we appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was stocked full of everthing we needed. We will stay at one of their properties again in the future. Thanks!

Excellent getaway with quiet!

There were many excellent things about our stay at the Valley. The quiet was one of those things! I don't know when I've last heard no traffic noise. The stars at night were incredible. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go again.

Revived and Reconnected

My husband and I took three days away mid-week in October to reconnect and relax. I've been handling my Mom's home care Friday-Sunday for the last six months which has been hectic leaving us not much time to spend together. The cabin is, as advertised, secluded. The deck was the perfect place to just 'BE'. The hot tub at night with the canopy of stars was breathtaking. The fireplace made the living room so cozy. After a few days of this level of relaxation, I feel revived and reconnected. It will be easy to return here in my mind and feel that way again. A great experience.

Had A Great Time

It was great knowing our host contact was available at all hours. Check in was easy, family loved the cabin, and the area was lovely. Famly would definitely stay again. We pointed out some areas to the host that could use a little more attention to detail, but overall, great stay!!

How our business started.. In 1994 Eric started a small "part time" lawn mowing business for extra money that would eventually turn into much more and a full time career and a family owned company. In 1998 we were asked to manage a Vacation Home and being totally truthful... we had no idea of what we were dong and how fast we would learn. After having a terrible experience Renting a Vacation Rental in Northern Wis. I knew what my future would hold in the Property Management business. It was 3 simple things. 1) Be True and Honest to your Guests, 2) Treat our Guests the way I personally would want to be treated 3) Provide 5 star "Clean" accommodations and be better then the rest! After 20 plus years, KPS has several repeat guests and so many friend ships have been made. Till this day we still hold true to our 3 step system. We hope someday you can come enjoy one of our vacation homes or cabins. We are very proud of our Vacation Properties and the business we have created.
