Great location

It is a great location. My husband easily walked to the lifts. Our only knock is the bed in one of the bedrooms was so hard my husband had to sleep on the couch. The kitchen had everything we needed. If you are planning on baking cookies or the like make sure yo bring a cookie sheet.

cute condo, great location

We love the location and the view. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Condo is a bit dated and could have been cleaned better. dirty carpets, and mildew in the showers. overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great weekend getaway

We came to big bear to check out the skiing and this property was walking distance to the resort. House is well maintained. Only wish would be for a bigger master bed. :)

Ski View Lodge

Pros: Super convenient location, excellent size and set-up of condo with convenient amenities (ex: 2 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen supplies, garage, and available laundry). Beautiful views of ski slope Cons: Dated condo, furniture, and flooring. Would love to see the place with a facelift of these items. Overall: Great place and visit

Golf weekend.

A friend and I went for the weekend just to play some golf. It was a great location on the ninth Tee. It was only 5 to 10 minutes to the village. If I were going for longer than a weekend, I may have wanted a larger TV in the living area and a TV in the bedroom. It was perfect for the two of us just to get away and relax.

Homey, spacious and close to the mountain

We stayed here for 5 nights. I worked from the condo while my son snowboarded. The wireless internet is very fast (fast enough for video conferencing). The condo is close enough you can walk (slightly uphill) to the base of Bear if you'd like. While the condo shows signs of wear and tear it is clear it has been well-loved and cared for. It is very clean, very quiet and spacious. Thank you for letting us stay!

Event weekend

We had a motorcycle event at Bear Mountain and this condo was the perfect location for walking distance. The only issues were ants in the kitchen and washer dial didn’t work correctly had to rig it to make work. Other than that perfect.

Not kept up…

Pulling up to the property, it was very upsetting to notice that the driveway was not clear and the walkway in to the front door was full of ice. Once inside things didn’t get a lot better. The furniture is from the 1970s and is uncomfortable at best. We had electrical issues as well as issues with getting the Internet and the TV to work properly. Until things are updated and changed at this unit I would never recommend staying here.

Having two full bathrooms plus a half bath was really awesome for our group, which had two couples and a 1 year old. The location is stellar--we had planned to walk to Bear Mountain to avoid driving or bussing but because our 1 year old couldn't fit into any gear, we decided to just play in the "yard". This condo is therefore perfect for families of all ages--if you want to snowboard/ski, Bear Mountain is a short walk away. If the kids are too young, there is a huge open space to play in the snow, build snowmen, make snow angels, etc. All the appliances were working well (oven, microwave, fridge, dish washer). The living space is beautiful with some charm from the 90s as well as some updated furniture to make it feel like a really nice little getaway. Our Rav4 could fit in the small garage, though we pulled out to get the kid in her carseat. We appreciated the salt that was provided for the icy driveway. The double bed was a bit uncomfortable, so if you don't like a firm mattress either use the queen bed or bring along your own mattress topper or pillow etc. We brought our own pack and play and set it up in the closet (of course we left the closet door open!). The closet space was perfect for it, which gave us more room in the bedroom. The place was well heated and had a nice view of the open space where we played in the snow. We would highly recommend and would visit again.

We will be back

We would saty again for the convenience of its location to the mountain, and the comforts of the home. The only thing that could have improved our experience would have been to enjoy the hot tub facility during our stay.

Family Spring Break

This property is a cozy townhouse perfect for a family vacation. My family of 7 fit just right. It is located right between big bear zoo and big bear mountain. It is an older townhouse, the appliances are all good and the only thing I would recommend is updating the dishes provided, and bed setting, and lamps. Our family did all the adventures in Big Bear so we were only at home to sleep and shower. Overall I recommend!!
