Unit 1108 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath OCEANVIEW condo (balcony faces south-side view of the beach) with a great view of Atlantic Ocean. The master bedroom has a king bed with television, private bath with Jacuzzi tub, and access to the balcony. The second bedroom has 2 double beds. The kitchen is fully furnished with all you need to prepare your meals. The living room has a television and VCR for your enjoyment. For those of you who need to stay connected during your travels, The Verandas has free internet access in the unit. Walk out onto the balcony and enjoy the sun and breathtaking view as you sip your morning coffee. This North Myrtle Beach rental has an oceanfront pool and Jacuzzi. Just jump in and take a dip or soak up some rays while basking in the sun. Relax on the tubes and float around in the lazy river pool. It's all here waiting for you! Vehicle height capacity in parking garage is 6'6".

The condo was just absolutely perfect. Updated, clean, and overall comfortable. Check in and check out were super easy, and the employees were so friendly. I would love to come back to stay there again!

The very best location!

The condo is great, the view was great from the balcony. The check in for getting keys is given as a 3 hour range (3pm-6pm) which we found unusual but our keys were ready at 4pm so it wasn’t bad at all. I cannot stress enough how great the location is. Walkable to just about anything you’d need and a very short drive to Kroger for groceries. We had zero problems and great experience.

Week at the beach with family

Pool, hot tub and lazy river made for a very enjoyable stay for my parents they are in thier 70’s and getting to the beach everyday would have been more exhausting than relaxing. they enjoyed the close conscience of getting to the pool, except the gate codes. Great view and well equipped for our dietary needs. View was beautiful. Elevators are slow and bathroom exhaust fans are loud.

Stayed here before and it's location is perfect for us.

Everything was fine. Love having linens supplied. Only one annoying feature is there is only one switch for the vent fans in the bathroom and no second one if you only want light. Having very loud fan on constantly in bath is annoying and unnecessary.

Needs serious owner attention

The condo itself was fine. We received no communication from rental company until I called on day of check in. It was after 5:00 before it was ready. They were still cleaning. It was not clean when we checked in. Dishes put in cabinet dirty. Pan still half full of cooking oil in the cabinet. Inside refrigerator door was broken and somewhat taped. Tape was dirty. Some of the blinds replaced. The old ones left in the window sill. Some of our wash rags looked like the cleaners. Stained and falling apart. The coffee table from inside was on the deck dirty. The floors weren’t swept. The small pool is shared with the large condo next door. Both the pool and lazy river was very dirty everyday. The lazy river had 2 single floats and 2 double floats for all the guest. Finding a parking spot was difficult some days. Rental golf carts and cars with no tags taking up lots of spaces. Lots of blown light bulbs. No sheet set for pullout sofa. Toilet paper holders laying in the floor and half rolls of toilet paper on the bathroom counter. The condo itself was great. I just didn’t understand the late check in for cleaning that wasn’t done. If I were an owner I would be upset. I completely get the employee shortages but this was not acceptable. Should have been checked before check in. The outside hallway was very dirty and never cleaned the whole week. I am not trying to pick it apart and had it just been a few things I would never write this review but it was a lot. If I were the owner I would be very upset. No excuse for some of this.

Short stay

We ask for a full refund after viewing the room. The room was outdated, blinds broke and hanging on windows. It was very nasty. My 6 year old grandson didn’t want to walk on the floors, he said it’s disgusting and it was. Desk attendant was very nice and understanding. Never again.

Beautiful view

Parking garage is low we had to park a half mile away in the over flow lot because the transit van was to tall. The couch really needs cleaned other then that nice place to stay.

Comfortable stay

The furnishings are dated, but mostly comfortable. The view is great and the lactation is perfect. Cleaning crew left a stray hare or two. I called for a problem with the kitchen sink that was not resolved. Overall the stay was 5 star.

Great getaway

Two couples getaway for the weekend. Loved the 11th floor large balcony views of the beach and across the city for sunsets. Condo was a good size and good price. Perfect for what we were looking for. Walkable to bars/restaurants. Would recommend for sure.

Needs repairs

There was and apparently had been for a while only one working elevator in the 11 story building which made returning to and leaving the 11th floor room stressful. Also our room was not very clean at all. The refrigerator shelf was duct taped and the tub in the master bath needed repair. Other than this we had a nice time. Would not stay there again.

Pictures are much better than actual condo.

I want to say that I did not reach out to the property management because I didn't want to waste time dealing with it all on my very short vacation. I improvised as best as possible. The furniture is very outdated and dingy, although it's better when the paper blinds that are also dingy, are up. We left them up the entire stay. I had to put a sheet over the couch and my husband saw a few roaches. Which he didn't tell me until we left because he knew it wouldn't go well. The dryer had no heat and wouldn't dry our clothes. We had to put them out in the main room to air dry. The front bathroom vanity's left drawer was full of utensils and knives. I'm assuming this was their "extras". This was the vanity/bathroom that the 3 girls were to use. That could've been dangerous if they were younger kids. Luckily my girls are teenagers and told us immediately. The main point, beside the roaches, that made me feel this way was the master bathroom. Walked in there and the front panel of the jet tub was off and open. My husband tried to make it better but it wouldn't stay, this was a continuous inconvenience. The possibility of electrical shock or anything under the tub within the motor was scary. That leaves the sink in there that's useable. We didn't have a shower to use and I'm scared of the tub. That put 5 people using one small bathroom. You may say "why didn't they just take a shower instead?" It was IMPOSSIBLE to do that without possibly get some kind of funk in the process. The shower head was so rusted and had nasty grime and junk in it. I went to Walmart and got Vinegar and ziplock bag and followed the instructions I found online. 24 hours later, it didn't do anything other than leave the bag of vinegar with a small stringy chunks of something but the shower head looked the same. I gave up. The pool was great but the "lazy river" that looked gorgeous and large in the pictures actually turned out to be basically the area and size that a kiddie pool would be. 3ft deep so when trying to relax your feet or knees scraped and hurt and little kids jumping in and out because you could barely pass someone. This feature is what sold me, as I do not like the beach, I stay at the pool. This was our first time in Myrtle Beach and our last. * I have pictures but there's nowhere on here to post them. Imagine that.

Condo met our needs and was clean

We rented this unit a couple of weeks out for spring break. We a had 2 adults and 3 children and were not cramped. Unit was clean but also was dated. The bed was a little firm, but I normally sleep on a pillow top. It was not luxurious but served our needs and was reasonably priced. Best of all we where at the beach where we wanted to be without paying a arm and a leg.

Nice and comfortable, a little careworn

Was everything we needed after a bad experience at Thomas Cottage at Holden Beach and with Mr. Holden himself. Everything was clean and comfortable. Even the dated, 1980's Golden Girls decor was kinda cool. The bathtub made it all worth it. Also the pool and lazy river were a nice beach from the sandiness at the beach.

Great farther North Myrtle family friendly location, but terrible condo

While the farther North Myrtle Beach location was family friendly and close to great restaurants, the condo was essentially being held together with duck tape and packing tape. No, I'm not kidding. I have photos of the countertops, all refrigerator shelves and plastic cheap patio furniture all being held together with tape of various sorts. Two small bars of soap were left, but only two rolls of toilet paper and one dish towel. The dryer took forever to dry, and the furniture and televisions hadn't been updated in many many decades. The fans in the bathrooms, which had to come on with the lights, sounded like planes landing. That turned out to be good though since it drowned out the screaming neighbors we shared a wall with. The amenities at The Verandas were fairly minimal and the pool was much too small for the amount of people in the 11 story building. The lazy river was shut down the entire day of July 4th including all lounge chairs on that side of the pool area. A positive on the condo...the view was neat with both beach and mainland options for sunrises and sunsets and great fireworks in all directions. With the amount they are charging for this run down condo, they should be able to invest in a renovation.
