Awesome Summer Break

Charli's condo is in a great location across from the beach. We enjoyed a break from the inland heat with waves, ocean breezes, and two beautiful covered pool areas! Everything we needed was there for us. A lovely and comfortable home :)

Quiet and Comfy!

My husband, teen son, myself and another adult stayed for 5 nights for a music festival in town recently. Property was just as listed, in a quiet, gated community. Pool was right around the corner from the building. Inside was clean, and roomy. Host was super communicative, answering messages and questions I had almost immediately. Will definitely keep this place in mind if we're ever in the area again.

Excellent condo

The condo is very clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner responded quickly to any questions and had great communication. There was plenty of beach items that were available from chairs, sand toys to a wagon and beach stroller. Highly recommend this condo. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach access or you can drive and park in the resort lot. The pools were always clean and grounds well maintained.

A True Fur Family Friendly Condi

Everything was great from the time we made our reservation until the time we left. The condo was as described. The host was amazing. We brought our Blue Healer with us. The property was very accommodating. There is plenty to do including a pet friendly beach. We would definitely recommend to anyone with a pet or without. The property is super clean and has all the amenities that a family needs. Thank You!

Thanksgiving on the beach

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our son and his gf and we were able to include our fur babies and it was so wonderful. The condo was plenty big enough for us and was furnished with everything you need. Short walk to the beach and you are set.

Everything was as advertised. The unit was spotless. The balcony is huge! The heated pools and other amenities were very nice. It was very quiet around this building. Easy communication with the renter. I highly recommend this unit.

A place by the shore

This is a very handsome property! The balcony has views of the Atlantic Ocean across A1A/Atlantic Avenue. The kitchen had everything we needed, coffee maker, knives, sizeable refrigerator, glass-top oven-range, microwave and a two-basin sink bounded by plenty of cabinet space and a serving bar with seats for two. Just a step away, a dining table for six, so 8 could easily enjoy dinner. The two bedrooms were plenty big, plus there was an extra daybed in one of the bedrooms. The master suite featured a king bed plus tons of drawers, and a walk-in closet. There was even a crib in the closet! The master bath had two sinks, also included a nice jet tub, with a separate shower stall. Everything was spotless and in good repair, we could not have asked for a better place to enjoy our stay at the beach. The property includes two pools and two rec rooms; the one closer to us, the north rec, was shut for renovation, but the pool was open and wonderful. We never ventured to the south one, & we didn't use that pool, although it had different features. I noticed a bocce court at the south rec, would've been fun. There is a nice boardwalk trail around the west edge of the property for exploring, saw egrets, turtles, crabs & a large snake out there, very wild-looking.

Charming, comfortable, and spacious!

We were so pleased with Charli’s condo. It is exactly as described, and it was perfect for us. Like the condo grounds themselves, it was clean and well-maintained. Neighbors were friendly and pools were beautiful. And, of course, the gorgeous beach was a short, easy walk from the condo. We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely place to stay on a more perfect stretch of beach. And Charli is responsive and very easy to work with!

Weekend Getaway

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The condo was more than we expected with all the comforts of home. Charli our host was a delight to work with. The place is very spacious with a beautiful view. We will be back in the near future.

This condo is in a safe, quiet location. It was just what we needed for a Winter retreat away from the cold weather of Virginia. We loved being able to bring our fur babies and the walking areas outside was great for pets. The ocean is right across the street. We loved the peacefulness of the balcony. The condo is very roomy and comfortable. The owner Charli has been by far the best owner I have ever dealt with in all of our years of vacation renting. Looking forward to returning soon!

Beautiful condo close to the beach

Wonderful clean beautiful condo close to the beach. The amenities of the complex were outstanding. The swimming pool, the tennis courts, and the hot tub were often used by members of the family. Everyone enjoyed a restful condo. The beach access was easy.

Property was in a great location - away from the hustle and bustle we encountered as we were closer to the downtown area, and the property was well maintained. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but the wagon on premises would help with that. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was stocked adequately for our needs. The whole process went very smoothly, from the rental agreement to instructions on the property. If you have a baby, there are lots of supplies that I would have loved when mine were little.

Gorgeous & Clean Condo!

We stayed in Charli's Elephant Condo at Oceanwalk Condominiums from July 2-9, 2017. Charli is very organized, and everything goes smoothly from check in to departure. We loved every minute of it, from the cute decorations to the very comfy furniture (beds, couches, chairs, and even deck furniture is comfy)! We felt at home from the minute we arrived. The Condo is very clean, and even though it is pet friendly, you would never know pets have been there because it's that clean!! We took our miniature schnauzer, and he loved it too!! We enjoyed using the beach towels and beach chairs there for our use. The wagon to use for going to and from the beach is a definite plus too. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook should you choose to do so, with plenty of storage. There is also a nice laundry room in the condo. The condominium is a short walk to the beach and within driving distance to many delicious restaurants! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous condo with our family!! ❤️

Charli, the perfect host of this magnificent condo on beachside. We love her and her condo.

Charli, the owner of this magnificent condo, is GREAT. All the comforts of home, but so luxurious - this condo is so well-appointed, we felt like we were living in a designer magazine. Charli left all the staples, so we had little to get - the condo is immaculate and yes with designer touches. Right across the street from the beach - just perfect. Charli is kind and gracious - her manner makes one feel like family. We just loved it and did not want to leave. Larry and Elaine Leaf and family and dog, too.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at your elephant condo!

Charli was always very accessible and helpful during our booking and stay in Ocean Walk. Very clean and comfortable! Spent a lot of time on the balcony, enjoying the view! I walked the boardwalk and swam in both pools, and our dog enjoyed the new scenario:). My only complaint was that we didn't have enough time to explore. Hope to come back!

Wonderful Property! Great vacation!

Beautiful condo!

We had a fabulous stay at the Elephant Condo! The spacious condo is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the large patio while viewing the ocean and overlooking the well manicured landscaping. You are a short ride to Flagler Ave and many great restarants, such as The Garlic & So Napa. Charli is a sweetheart and was a pleasure to work with and was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay here again!!

Winter Escape

If you are looking for an escape from winter weather( or any other good reason) then this condo is for you. The location is convenient to beach activities, fine restaurants and downtown New Smyrna Beach, a small yet vibrant Florida town. The location is also on the edge of town with relief from the congestion of the city center, The condo was clean and fully equipped with all the amenities for, in our case, a two month residence. The view of ocean and surrounding area from the large balcony is a high light of the condo and a place where my wife and I spent many enjoyable hours taking in the sights and relaxing. Another highlight were all the easy to access amenities at the Oceanwalk complex- gym, Yoga, pools, walking paths and social activities. Another was the first floor enclosed parking area with elevator below the unit. Finally the ready access to the owner with her friendly and helpful personality from original selection through residence, arrival and departure enhanced the enjoyment of the stay. It is a winner!

The Perfect Place

My husband never wants to leave home. After six nights at the Elephant Condo, he did not want to go home! The pools and hot tubs in the complex are well maintained and not over crowded. The short walk to the ocean was just that, an easy quick stroll. My two poodle mix dogs loved the nature boardwalk within the complex. People were very nice and friendly! Charli is the best! This is my third different rental from HomeAway and she is by far the fastest to respond to your requests. She keeps a beautiful property that was beyond expectations! We had more room than we needed for our family! On the nights my daughter joined us we had five adults sleeping comfortably! The master bath is huge and has a wonderful spa tub and walk in shower, very nice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very nice, we cooked in every night and never wanted for a pan or plate! Holiday vacations can be taxing, but this condo make us so comfortable we thought we found the home we have always wanted! Would rent here again, everyone loved it and there isn't a better value!

I had a vision & achieved my goal of elegance & comfort at my favorite beach! I was tired of renting dated, poorly maintained condos. I'm naming this my 'elephant' condo following my theme 'zebra condo' you can view on VRBO 448493 and 'peacock condo' you can view on VRBO 607488. This resort offers a great atmosphere, close enough for action, far away enough for peace, tranquility and serenity! After another renovation I am very excited with the outcome! Filled with beautiful Pottery Barn furniture to make it comfortable and like home. I hope you love it just as much as we do! I'm meticulous & pay close attention to detail. I own & manage the property myself & have many years experience in the travel & tourism industry, homemaking & hospitality! I'm always available if needed. While you are here this is your home!

New Smyrna Beach is a beautiful island community with something for everyone. Thirty golf courses nearby. It's just one hour from Orlando & Central Florida attractions, Disney, Universal etc. Twenty minutes to Daytona International Speedway. Beautiful St. Augustine is approx two hours away. Day trips are easy, for example Kennedy Space Center. Then return to this lovely beach town & enjoy a late dinner or a long walk on the beach to unwind from the day. Short distance to grocery store and shopping. Also wonderful dining like So Napa Restaurant, A Touch of Italy, Chase's Lounge on the beach and my kids favorite place S'mores Ice Cream & Coffee Shop! Or enjoy a Bob Ross art painting workshop close by.
