Great stay at the beach

Had a wonderful week at the Carriage House! Steps from a beautiful quiet stretch of the beach, and a 10 min walk to the dunes at Jockeys Ridge. Cozy, welcoming and everything the 4 of us (5 incl our chiweenie!) needed for a great recharge. Thank you!

Thanks Brent. That was a gully washer we had when you were here. We apologize for the brief flooding after the rain which flooded the road. The two says they are working on a solution when we have huge storms like that. Please come back again soon.

Cute beach cottage

Cute cottage and liked that it had 2 bathrooms and was very close to the beach. I gave it 4 stars because the kitchen was not well equipped and we enjoy cooking our meals, even on vacation. In addition, there was no real family room to get comfortable and watch TV or read in the evenings.

Cute but snug

We enjoyed our week at the Carriage House- top unit. It was close to the beach. It was also close to the road- the sound of traffic was constant. The Outer Banks Blue rental group were very responsive and easy to work with. Next time, I would love to rent the Manor House which was beach front

No beach view from the house, but being in the hot tub and hearing the waves crashing was wonderful and feeling the breeze from the ocean. The house was cozy and came equipped with everything we needed. The access to the beach was impeded when we arrived but after a quick phone call to the management company they got someone out within 24 hours and it was cleared. The beach access was fantastic for morning and evening beach walks.

Excellent property exactly as described. Would like an option for shade on upper deck and a little more paper products to be provided for guests. The beds are in desperate need for new mattresses. That being said, your vacation definitely won't go down with the ship if you choose this property.

Christy, Thank you for your comments. We have passed them along to the owner for action on the bedding. We apologize for the miscommunication on what we provide as a starter supply of products. We do include a roll of toilet paper in every bath, paper towels and dishwashing detergent on arrival but not an unlimited supply. We are working to make that clearer on the VRBO listing. Come back again with your crew any time!

Small rooms

Beddrooms are small. Queen room needs fan running to keep cool. Deck was nice but there was road noise.Spa was nice. Short walk to beach. Beach is visible from deck in a small space. Plenty of dining room & full kitchen. may need some flatware. Staff very responsive, easy communication. Overall we had a great time, right off the beach, and it was dog friendly. I would recommend.

Cute Cottage

The ground are very well kept and I love the landscaping. They made use of the native plants. It a two minute walk to the beach. You can't see but a little glimpse of the ocean from the cottage because there is a sand dune protecting the property in front of the cottage. The sand dune blocks the view, but I understand the necessity. During our stay the water came very close to the cottage. You can see Jockey's Ridge from the front of the cottage, which was nice to watch the kites and hangliders. The place was clean.

Great for a girls trip

This house was fantastic! It is steps to the beach and walking distance to the best tiki bar, Mulligans. The hot tub and giant deck are also a great perks. I highly recommend this place as long as two folks don't mind sleeping in bunk beds.

Cozy apartment /great location!

The property was a little smaller than I expected but was perfect for our getaway. Super clean. Big deck to enjoy the sunshine with a gate so the dog could roam freely on the deck. It’s a quick walk to the beach with easy access. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants of shops in walking distance. We will definitely be staying there again.
