Spacious quiet central apartment with private terrace/garden

The apartment is located between two internal courtyards and the building is on a quiet side street, so it is very quiet, even though it is very centrally located. There is a private terrace and large garden in the back and large windows in every room. The apartment has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate eat-in kitchen and a large central living area with separate living and dining areas. There are two large and two small desks in the apartment (the one in the living room is an electric sit/stand desk). The kitchen is equipped with a Breville/Sage espresso machine, a separate Breville/Sage milk frother, a food processor, an electric kettle, and a microwave, as well as a range, oven, dishwasher, and full-size fridge with separate freezer. There is a washing machine in one of the bathrooms. A wireless Epson printer/scanner/copier is also in the apartment. The apartment comes fully furnished, including linens, cookware, utensils, plates, etc. There is also a second terrace/balcony. The building courtyard has toys and a couple of sandboxes for children.

Within a few minutes walk there is a Rewe, two separate organic grocery stores, a great cafe for brunch, an excellent coffee shop and a great local ice cream shop, as well as many other shops and restaurants. There is a large park with a Biergarten and two playgrounds just two minutes away. It is also well-connected to the U-Bahn and the trams--the nearest stop is the Naturkundemuseum, within about a five minute walk, but other stops are also fairly close by foot (e.g. Nordbahnhof).

We are two professors who live here normally when we are in Berlin, but we need to sublet the apartment while we are away to cover our costs. We love it here and spent several years picking out this exact apartment, so we think it is a great find. The rent includes utilities (electricity, high speed internet) and the television tax.
