Welcome to the Bamboo Bungalow!This little gem is in walking distance to the city of Wilton Manors and the newly renovated shopping and eating district on 13th Street . Relax in the back garden that has been professionally designed and landscaped by a talented local architect. Float in the oversized pool while listening to the sound of palm fronds in the breeze and take a nap on the covered patio or under the soft shade of plumeria trees. Make use of our wonderful subtropical weather and grill out and enjoy dinner on the patio under twinkle lights.

SLEEP IN ON VACATION, PAMPER YOURSELF
Just on the other side of the sliding glass doors leading to the pool, sleep well on firm mattresses and pillows and expertly laundered sheets (I do them myself!).

LOUNGE ABOUT
Enjoy a quiet nap on the porch or watch a film on Netflix while lounging on the couch. Gaze out the front picture window onto the bamboo and take a moment to truly relax into your vacation.

COOK WELL
The completely renovated kitchen has all new appliances with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all kitchen tools you would need to make a South Florida meal. Laundry is on-site and there is even a covered parking space for your car.

ENJOY ALL FORT LAUDERDALE HAS TO OFFER
Within a 15-minute drive you can be at the beach, catch the water taxi in downtown Fort Lauderdale, or be at one of many great restaurants and cafes. The new bike lane down Dixie Highway carries you to new bars and cafes along 13th Street or The Drive in Wilton Manors.

If you have the opportunity to visit Ft. Lauderdale/Wilton Manors and you're looking for a VRBO, this is the place. Quaint, cute, comfortable, well equipped, great pool and private yard. Yes, it's a bit old, but we found that part of the charm. Jane, the owner and host, was so accommodating and helpful. We had one small issue with the door lock, and in about 30 minutes, Jane was at the home, resolved the issue and we were good to go. We will, assuming this charming bungalow is available to rent next year, absolutely be returning.
Ah, relaximg.
Harmless iguana. See them most days. Really feels tropical.

Everything was provided that anyone needs on a self catering holiday. Communication was superb. Villa is a little bit tired but pool and location was great. We like walking so managed to trial all the local restaurants recommended by the owner & had some extremely tasty meals.

We loved our stay! The house was very clean, the pool was fantastic, and it had everything we needed. Jane was an amazing host – super friendly and attentive. The only thing we’d change is the comfort of the bed and couch, but everything else was perfect!!

This was just what I was looking for. Something in the Wilton Manors area. The private pool was exactly as described. Very enjoyable especially on the hot summer nights. Close to Wilton Drive but a little too far for me to walk it. About 20 minutes. But only a 4.50 Uber ride. I would definitely come back. An added plus that the host included Netflix and Sling on the TV

Beautiful House, quiet location and great pool

The house was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and perfect for our family. The pool was bigger than we thought and was the perfect spot to spend the day swimming and tanning. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and was close to several stores, restaurants, activities and the beach. What really made the stay memorable was Jane, she was an incredible host, helped with everything we needed and even kept us informed when there was severe weather and alerts. She truly was great! We would 100% recommend and will be back ourselves!

Fantastic.

We loved our stay. The bungalow is spotless, comfortable, and well-stocked. The grounds are lush and well-kept. The pool is amazing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We want to return for a longer stay. We were very happy.

Bamboo Bungalow

This is an awesome place. Every thing you need for cooking, beach towels, cooler and chairs. The private pool no doubt was the best. Waking up to have coffee on the back patio sitting in a beautiful private yard. We definitely want to come back.

Bamboo bungalow

A very peaceful, secluded location for a getaway. A close drive to many attractions. You want for nothing at the bamboo bungalow and with such a beautiful pool you almost never wanna leave.

Wonderful escape

We enjoyed all of the thoughtful amenities that helped us save money like coolers and plenty of towels! We managed to swim in the pool each day despite the relatively chilly weather. The neighborhood is very friendly and Jane gave us lots of tips for exploring.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice, well kept home. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach. The weather was not great to be able to use the swimming pool, but the backyard is beautiful even to just sit outside and relax. Jane was great to work and she was very responsive to any questions we had. She also left many recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Very clean and accommodating!

As soon as you open the door, you walk into a very neat and clean house. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need including a picnic basket and totes for shelling. The bedrooms are comfortable with comfortable beds and pillows. Jane even keeps some travel stuff on hand in case you forgot stuff. The pool is great and the backyard offers privacy from neighbors. My sister and I would definitely stay here again.

Great place for vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation house! It has all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The pool is fantastic—spacious and perfect for a refreshing swim (approximately 5 x 10 meters). The garden is beautiful and offers complete privacy, creating a peaceful retreat. Jane was incredibly welcoming and always easy to contact. This place is perfect for relaxing by the pool or exploring nearby sites, restaurants, and beaches. Plus, they provide beach chairs and a sun umbrella for your convenience. Highly recommend!

I hark from the mid-west but matured in Colorado, traveled and lived in Asia and Italy... and Colorado again... and have now lived here in Fort Lauderdale for 9 years. For the first time in my life I have absolutely no plans to move and just love the diversity, culture and weather in this part of the country. Come and stay!

This property is completely private and peaceful. While you can still enjoy all the hustle and bustle of the area, you can retreat to the house and enjoy the pool and barbecue and completely chill out. The house is original and vintage and I think that the retro vibe adds a kind of peaceful personality to the property.

This house is unique in that it is located in a quiet neighborhood but is close to everything essential- the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and the airport. The pool and back yard is probably the most special quality and many guests rarely leave the property because the back yard is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility!
