Ianine is a great host, she is very friendly and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Her home is lovely and the suite is amazing. It is roomy and cozy at the same time and gives you a 'home away from home' feel, particularly for larlge stays.

Home for a few days

Everything we needed was available in this home. A close drive to downtown and Fishermans Wharf and convenient to get to. Always great to have a place to unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. Tesla, the new puppy was a delight to be loved byThanks.

Excellent Accommodation and Location

This upper floor apartment is very spacious and well equipped with more than you will ever need. The two bedrooms have very comfortable beds and walk-in closets. The windows throughout provide plenty of natural light and views. This is great location for walking to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The pedestrian trail along the harbor is only two blocks away.The owner is wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable.She went above and beyond to provide us with anything we required.

Dog friendly suite in heritage house in Bic West

Ianine was very welcoming and offered lots of tips for exploring the area. It’s a dog friendly house so keep that in mind. The upper floor suite has a steep staircase so it was good we were rather nimble seniors. It has a few iidiocrcracies of an older house but roomy and well supplied. Ianine was able to accommodate our EV charging needs and bike storage. Great location for biking as E&N bike trail is a block away and connects to Lochside trail and Halloping Goose trail. We walked to downtown regularly and enjoyed the Songees Trail along the harbour. Market Garden was a wonderful treat only a few blocks away.

West Victoria Stay

Amazing accommodations, highly reccommended!

We had an amazing week staying here. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and the property was perfect! Super location and easy to access. Everything you could need in a home was supplied (kitchen & cooking equipment etc). we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Myself, my wife, my parents and our 2 bulldogs loved it and hand ample space. Thanks again!

Wonderful Host

The property was just as described and in a perfect location for us. Ianine was a wonderful host. Very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Check in was easy. I highly recommend Ianine's property if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Such a cozy and warm place.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Janine's home is beautifully kept, full of character and quiet. My family enjoys walking so the location was perfect for us. It took us about twenty-five minutes by a scenic route to downtown Victoria to the sites and restaurants. The garden was a nice place to hang out and enjoy a meal as well. I highly recommend this place! Janine is a most welcoming host.

Wonderful property, amazing host

We arrived at Ianine's property with a small dog and 2 year old. Sounds stressful, right? Well, Ianine could NOT have been more accommodating and helpful. We discovered we needed a baby gate....no problem! There was one! Time after time, we had questions, and she had answers. It truly was like visiting a kind relative. Her suggestions for shopping, dining, and recreation were spot on. Her apartment, above hers, is completely charming. It is well supplied with just about anything a visitor might need. The gardens were delightful for someone from the midwest to behold! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again as Ianine's guests!

Spacious, Sunny and Quite. This place has it all!

The apartment was perfect for what we were looking for. The listing was accurate. Although, the pictures don't do it justice. Ianine was very responsive and helpful. All the right features to make our stay comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect too. The kitchen was stocked with useful tools and equipment, we had everything we needed to cook! The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious. The location could not be better, we were easily able to walk to shops and the beach. Great place to stay... we will be back!

Beautiful home, perfect location, fantastic host!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here and recommend it to everyone! The upstairs apartment where we stayed was very clean, spacious, and comfy. We loved the garden where we could sit outside with our tea in the evenings, and the kindness & availability of our host. (She even offered to let us stay another night when we *almost* missed our ferry back home.) Such a great experience, we will be going back.

We had a wonderful stay in Springfield Flats..Ianine is the nicest,most helpful lady.The beds were so comfy we had a hard time dragging ourselves out of them in a morning.Our English relatives just loved the garden and watching the hummingbirds. All of us were impressed by the unique decorating touches throughout the house.A lot of thought put into this home. Can't fault the cleanliness and will definitely be returning there before long.Anyone looking to stay in Victoria should most certainly stay here.Walking distance to downtown in a lovely quiet spot.

Great Home! Wonderful Host!

This was my first time visiting Victoria and I was not disappointed. What a wonderful place. Janine's home was the perfect place to stay. Very close to the beach (an easy walk) and a short drive to downtown. Janine's is warm and friendly and her home has all the amenities you could ask for. I would highly recommend Janine's home if you are planning a stay in Victoria.

Beautiful home!

This is a great home to stay in while in Victoria. Close to downtown and waters edge. The home is clean and beautifuly decorated with everything you’ll need for your stay. Ianine is a wonderful host, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home and host!

Would absolutely stay again.

We loved staying here. The apartment was really clean, bright, and comfortable, with plenty of space for either two couples, or a family with kids. It is really close to downtown, but in a unique area, that was fun to explore. Ianine was a fantastic host, and allowed us to have two dogs. She even left dog treats for them. We would absolutely stay there again.

I grew up in many parts of the world. USA, Canada, Kenya, Iran and Malaysia. I've also travelled around the world a few times. My first travelling adventure without parental guidance was when I was 17. I left Iran to return to Canada via Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. Then at the age of 18, I hitch hiked with two friends to Mexico. I spent three months on the west coast. I returned the next year to, travelling for a year, from the east coast of Mexico to Belize, Honduras, Guatemala and up the west coast of Mexico, home to Victoria.
I am creative in many ways and love to express that in my home. After many years of living away from Victoria I've returned. I look forward to creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for travellers visiting Victoria.

I love homes with history and character. A 1907 Edwardian Arts and Crafts Vernacular! This home is only 3 minutes to downtown for some hustle and bustle, yet affords quiet and relaxation time within the tall privet hedges. Only two blocks to the ocean and a lovely 15 minute meandering walk into Victoria. The suite is spacious and light filled, a calm and quiet environment. A one bedroom suite is also available.

My home is a 5 minute walk to all amenities, Castle Hardware on Wilson St along with Westside Mall that has Save on Foods for groceries, Spinnaker's Spirit Merchants, La Taqueria and Victoria Sushi, Starbucks, Winn thrift store, TD bank, Megson Fitzpatrick insurance, Nail Sense spa, Life Labs medical lab, Pharmasave and post office. Dentist, massage and chiropractor too! Just beyond is Fol Epi bakery and Caffe Fantastico.
A 7 minute walk to Craigflower rd. - Cliff's Classic Barber Shop, Fry's Bakery, Spiral Cafe, Sailor Jack consignment and Impressa Home Antiques
A three block walk to a tennis court and park.
