Nice views from front and back porches, steps to beach, many amenities: heated pool(no charge for heat) fully furnished kitchen, front and back decks with gates for small children or pets, 6 beach chairs, sand toys, enclosed outdoor shower, corn hole, gas grill, tvs in all rooms, dining table seats 10 with additional 4 bar stools, game table, high chair, booster seat.

SATURDAY TO SATURDAY rental ONLY, except Oct-Dec.

Bedrooms: king bed with twin and private bath, queen bed with twin and private bath, queen bed with twin shares 3rd bath with shower and tub with 4th bedroom with 2 queen beds. Linens provided. Ensuite baths feature large showers.

Walk 2 1/2 blocks to Pier for casual eateries, fishing, arcades, shops.

Plenty to do in the area or do nothing! Nature, golf, deep sea and fresh water fishing, art, history. Happy to provide more info.

Plenty of parking but not for house parties or entertaining a team., etc.😉

WE LOVE ON THE TOP LEVEL, which is totally separate from your level. We stay out of your way unless you need something.

FLEXIBLE check in/checkout times, generally check in 4 pm, check out 10 am. Ask!

Linens are furnished. You will find them in plastic tubs. Replace them in the tubs at the end of your stay, please.

Golf cart, bike, tent rentals at Woody’s in Garden City or King of Carts, Surfside. You can always come early to use the pool and outdoor shower for changing. Also have a companythat will set up chairs and tents, even a bonfire. Beach wheelchair available through Horry County.

The property is very clean and well maintained. The property owner was very responsive to all of my questions. The property is so close to the beach that you can see and hear the ocean. The property is well equipped for meals, trips to the beach and pool toys. I would highly recommend this property for relaxation and a fun family stay! Murrells Inlet beach retreat

House is in a great location and exactly as advertised. Having a pool and being across the street from the beach was fantastic. The hosts are awesome and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

Great house in great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious and clean. The view from the front deck was great and our son loved swimming in the heated pool. The owners were friendly and very responsive. The location was great - in between two close beach access points and walking distance to the pier and restaurants/groceries We would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to return again ourselves.

Great Place

The property was spacious, clean and well maintained. It had the best equipped kitchen of any place we have ever stayed. Our hosts were helpful and welcoming.We were unfamiliar with the area so we were unprepared for the steps needed for second floor living-true of all the houses along the beach. I would recommend this property highly.

Awesome Vacation!! Even better in person!

We were absolutely thrilled with this dog friendly home. The beach is right there,you can see and hear it from the front porch. Literally a 2 minute walk to the public entrance. The private heated pool is very easy to get in and out of and we used it every day! Its also very clean and even lighted at night. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. We very rarely saw them during our stay. There is so much room to spread out and the kitchen is very well stocked. The ice maker was wonderful. They had so much beach and pool gear to use as well as bbq and even an outdoor shower. We cannot say enough good things about this place. The setup is just perfect.We will be returning for sure!! Never enough time

Disappointing

Pros: The location was great with easy access to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. There was plenty of seating on both the front and back porches so that you can enjoy the view. The owner was nice. Cons: 1) We were asked 1 week before our vacation if it was ok for them to have exterior painting done during our stay. We felt like we had to agree since the owners would be on premise and we didn't know if that would impact further interaction. 2) We were told 2 days before our arrival that the place had rats. That didn't leave time to make other arrangements and had us wondering if this was another issue to try to get us to cancel. 3) The owner didn't tell us until mid-vacation that they would be leaving but 2 couples would be staying instead. We knew we'd have to deal with the owners upstairs but didn't realize we'd have to deal with a kid running around upstairs and having to share the pool with others. 4) Upon arrival we noticed that the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The sink and dishwasher had a leak so we couldn't use the dishwasher and had to clean up the mess each time and deal with maintenance. 5) Other issues: filthy shower curtain liner (we had to buy bleach cleaner to clean it), one sink was clogged, one handle to flush the toilet was broken (my husband had to fix it), and the grill was filthy and broken, and the living room furniture is outdoor furniture with metal arms, so it wasn't comfortable.

Great stay!

My family and I stayed at the property for one week, and it was simply wonderful. My two children (ages 4 and 6) loved the private pool, close access to the beach, and the two balconies to check out things. The home was very spacious, and there was plenty of room. The front two bedrooms almost feel separated from the back two bedrooms, which was perfect for us. Cornelia was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful to us, and my kids loved seeing her walking her dog. If you are looking for a place to rent in Garden City and want space and privacy, this is it.

Family Week

The location of this property is wonderful. Easy beach and pier access. The pool is a nice bonus. The unit definitely could use some updating, a good cleaning and furniture replacement. Pool area would benefit from a good cleanout and power wash. Enjoyed the rockers on the front porch with the beach view.

Best Christmas stay

The stay was amazing!!! The view from the porch and to be able to enjoy the sound of the ocean prefect. This is our second Christmas with them will be returning. Loved it!!!

Highly recommend!

We had such a good visit. The owners were very communicative and helpful. There were beach toys, chairs, boogie boards for the kids and a nice wagon for the adults to use to get it all to the beach. Pictures of the home were very accurate and house was nicely decorated/furnished. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the porch listening to the ocean which is literally across the street. There was an issue with the heating pump of the pool but the owners offered a refund immediately when they were made aware of the issue. This house is worth the time and money and provided my family with much, much needed down time.

We enjoy life at the beach as well as traveling. It is nice to have guests in the lower level, which is not connected internally. You have your own entrance, decks, etc. We are happy to share information about restaurants, attractions, etc.. as well as about the house. Tutu is our 12 lb shy Malteemutt. She is totally harmless but likes to bark at people and dogs when she first sees them.

I am from South Carolina and my husband from Chicago. We spent many happy times at the beach with my family, so decided to retire here after raising our children in Larchmont NY. Much better weather and adore the relaxed life style. 45 minutes to Geogetown, 2 hours from Charleston for more history and amazing restaurants. We enjoy Trivia at our favorite local bars.

The two separate levels allow us to have guests who love the beach as much as we do, when it is not needed for our family. This is a great place to be, with year round golf, fishing, beach walks and the shopping is amazing! My husband and I are so happy here, year round. We came for a week each year with my 3 siblings and children. Great family times. Come create your memories.

Love that we get ocean views from the dining room and inlet views from the back porch. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We are just a mile from a major grocery store as well as walking distance to a small grocery store, several places to eat, the pier, bars, small shopping area and game center/amusement areas. Golf and mini-golf courses abound! Well supplied kitchen. Much parking space and large under the house area for cor hole, chalk art, shade Pool is a nice size.
