Spectacular Home on Mississippi Lake Near Ottawa, Perth and Stonefields Estate

Fully furnished 2400 square foot lake home situated on spectacular Mississippi Lake. 5 bedrooms. 2.5 baths. Built in 2006 . Ceramic & hardwood throughout main floor, carpet in bedrooms. Secluded 134 feet of shoreline with dock. Equipped with BBQ, kayaks, canoe, bikes and snow shoes. This is our family cottage and managed by our son Byron. Includes a dock where you can launch small boats. There are boat launches for larger boats nearby including a public dock in Carleton Place. This property is west facing and has beautiful sunsets. Water quality at the dock is the best on the lake with comfortable access for small children. Our home is fully furnished, clean and ready for your vacation. If you need something let us know and we can accommodate. Visit our nations capital Ottawa on your visit or the historic town of Perth. We have a pet friendly policy for those well behaved four legged family members. The lake is known for bass fishing and snowmobiling in the winter.
Close to Stonefields Estate a premiere wedding destination. Located at the end of Beck Shore Lane this waterfront property is quiet and secluded from neighbors. The lakehouse comes equipped with almost everything you need. We had a truly wonderful stay at Michael's property. Both the indoor and outdoor living spaces are beautiful and well equipped! The option for single-floor living was perfect for older family members in our group as well.

Excellent multi-generational rental

Definitely appreciated the welcoming feel of this rental, from the cooking supplies in the kitchen to the water bottles and towels in each bedroom. Lots of room to play, visit and relax.

We had a great time. The house was perfect, although we spent most of our time outside. Everything was so clean and we tried to leave it exactly as we found it. However, the cleaner was just arriving as we were getting ready to leave. We are actually talking about booking again for next year. That’s how much we loved it.

Peaceful and satisfying

The view of the lake is so awesome. ... several small islands near by. Trilliums in the bush took me back to my childhood. Owners were very accommodating and the home is well stocked .

Beautiful views, short drive from Stonefields

We stayed for an extended weekend for a wedding at Stonefields with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The hosts were accommodating and thoughtful with kids activities. Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. Short drive to Carleton Place for groceries and playgrounds. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Get Away

My 4 sister's & I had an excellent sister's week at the Kazda Lake House. Serene, peaceful, beautiful view with spectacular sunsets. A stunning home with 5 spacious brdrooms Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation to remember.

Great Gathering Place!

We were a family that gathered because of the passing of our mother. It was a wonderful place to celebrate her life. The lakefront property was a perfect setting to reflect and build memories. The house is spacious which allowed all of us to move about easily. The large kitchen area allowed for more than one cook at a time. A lot of planning and design went into this house making it a huge upgrade from what you’d expect from a lakeside cottage!!! When after the first day we were already discussing how we could meet here again, it indeed left us with great memories. Thanks again Michael & Byron

Wonderful mini vacation

We rented the cottage for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage itself had everything we needed and it was also nice to be close to Perth and Carleton Place for a little exploring. Loved the comfortable beds.

End of Summer Kayaking

Nice large property and lake house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were exceptionally beautiful and clean which deserves a rating of 5. However the rating of 3 was given due to the lack of maintenance to the house exterior and the lack of proper cleaning of the kitchen appliances. The owner has compensated for us for our cleaning of the appliances. We appreciated the owner getting back to us promptly. The kayaking was great and the sunset views were spectacular.

AMAZZZING!

The property was amazing! We had 7 adults, there was plenty of room for privacy, yet close enough to enjoy family time. The house is beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. The house is in a great location between quite on the lake enjoying boating, swimming ,fishing and relaxation. We took our boat, so having the dock was perfect for exploring the beautiful lake! It was just a short ride to shopping, restaurants and an hour from Ottawa. We took a great tour of Ottawa. My sons went on many hiking trips! There is plenty to do!!! Michael was great to communicate with, god knows I must of drove him crazy with all my questions! He was very quick to respond and VERY pleasant. Already booked a return trip! If you are looking for a place on a lake, THIS IS THE ONE! Thank you Michael for sharing your home with us!!

A wonderful place to stay with everything you need to have a great time

The LakeHouse is fantastic. The amenities are more than you would expect and the grounds are perfect. The water is warm with an easy walk in for children. It’s deep enough by the end of the dock to bring your own boat. We did!! ( we rented one from the dealership in Perth) The house is just that, a luxury home, well appointed and very roomy. At night we spent time on the patio by the fire pit and in the enclosed gazebo. During the days we spent hours on the lake and in the sun. We had guests as young as 2 and as old as 86 and the place was perfect for all. Thank you Michael for a week of wonderful memories. We will be back!!

A Gem at the End of The Road

The week we recently spent at the Lake House could not have been any better. The property is exactly as described - a spectacular home on the lake. The house itself is completely furnished with everything one could need, the bedrooms and beds are comfortable and the living area spacious. While we spent very little time indoors other than for sleeping and cooking, it has lots of room to spread should the weather not cooperate. The property is large and quite private with lots of room for pets to roam and kids to play. The use of the kayaks, canoes and bikes lends to the attraction. The huge outdoor table easily seats all plus guests, and we ate all our meals here. As stated above, the Lake House is at the end of the road - traffic is almost non existent and one feels somewhat off on one's own. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, well maintained property with

Great location, beautiful clean lake, gorgeous home equipped with all the creature comforts you’d need or want. Older kids had days of fun on the water with kayaks and paddle boards. Beach area for younger kids is small and you need water shoes as there are lots of rocks in water near shore. We were 7 - 3 adults, 2 teens and 2 younger kids. Lots of space, both in and out. Overall, a great place to get away and spend quality time with family. We would definitely consider returning.

We grew up in Carleton Place and spent a lot of time on Mississippi Lake at our friends cottages so this was the ideal place to think of retiring. Until we do retire we can share this lake house with your family and we are sure you will create a wonderful vacation memory.

We searched the area for a cottage property and wanted the best water on the lake, quiet surroundings and west facing. We found all of this at 100 Beck Shore with the added benefit of an expertly crafted home so there is little maintenance. Hence our description lake house instead of cottage.
