This three bedroom, three bathroom home has a comfortable living space, huge master suite, a gourmet kitchen and is decorated impeccably. Step out back to the pool area and you will not be disappointed. The pool is large and the outdoor living space is perfect for entertaining or relaxing and enjoying the sun. Mermaid Cove is located on Spring Avenue which is just a few blocks from the renowned shopping and dining of Pine Avenue. Bike and golf cart rentals make transportation to and from the beach a breeze. Book Mermaid Cove today.

PARKING: 2 cars maximum are able to park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles. *Note that the garage is owner-use only and is not available for parking.

Maximum occupancy of rental homes on Anna Maria Island are set by the Cities and are strictly enforced. An occupant is any person staying overnight, regardless of the number of nights. Due to recent issues of overcrowding in the area, if maximum occupancy is exceeded during your stay, a $1000 (one thousand dollar) overcrowding fee will be charged to the payment method on file and your party will be immediately evicted. We had a great experience- loved the house it was in a perfect location and the pool and hot tub were amazing. Huge hit with the kids will definitely stay here again if we come back that way! Only suggestion was having small items like salt and pepper, grilling utensils, basic seasoning.

Beautiful home with a great hangout area outside! So close to everything, we would spend the first half of the day at the pool and then bike to the beach for the second half. Plenty of shopping close by as well! We go to A.M.I. for a girls trip every year and this is definitely on top for places we’ve stayed!

Loved our stay! House is in a great location. Quiet neighborhood, a few blocks from the beach, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rental property was comfortable with good use of space and the pool/hot tub were nice amenities.

Very nice home in a perfect location for walking to beach, shops and rental businesses. The home offered a nicely stocked kitchen. Bring your own paper towels and toilet paper as little is provided and it is of poor quality. Bring your own kleenix/tissues as none is provided. Our only significant issue was the pool. and spa Neither was operating appropriately, both losing water, and dirty. We did out best with the skimmer. The management company was zero help and rather dismissive and hostile. A pool person came by the day before we left confirmed that the pool pressure was very high and not relieved by cleaning the stuffed full filter. It is frustrating to spend so much money on a rental only to be treated like your concerns don’t matter.

Amazing and Unforgettable

Anna Maria Island is paradise but my review is all about Mermaid Cove. We will be back for sure. Great location, close to two beaches and just a block away from to a channel/Inlet with a smaller beach area. Also, one block away is a variety of shops, restaurants, coffee, and ice cream/dessert places. You really don’t have to leave the immediate area for anything unless you want to. Inside are three good size bedrooms and three full baths with very nice showers. The backyard is an amazing oasis. We used the pool almost daily and the grill a few times. It was also very quiet despite being peak season. inside you will find every thing you need for your stay, including cooking, dining and serving accessories. I cannot say enough good things about Mermaid Cove! We will be back for sure and as long as we have under 4 total people we will stay at MMC!

Fantastic property for our family!

We loved this sweet little house, it was a perfect spot for our family vacation. The interior was so cute and clean, and met our expectations based on the listing photos. We loved the pool and cabana and being so close to the bay and a short walk to the beachside, restaurants and cute little shops. Overall just a great stay and we would definitely choose to come back!

Nice house, great location

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It had plenty of room for our family (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 grandparent). We loved the pool and outdoor area and the proximity to local restaurants and the beach. Overall it was nice and we’d stay again. Some things to be aware of though, the house is minimally stocked with things like trash bags, dish detergent, toilet paper, no coffee provided, etc so you’ll have to go buy those supplies. I know these aren’t required but they are nice to have.

We love everything about Updated Charming Florida Cottage Comfortable bed, instant hot water, equipped kitchen, clean pool, pool toys, pool towels, pool chairs. Great little place on Anna Maria… super close to all the attractions. We will consider it again in the future.

Splashing around at the Mermaid

The property was great. The outdoor space was wonderful. When not at the beach, we were in the pool! Because of the trees it was shaded most of the day, which was nice because the sun was blazing in June! The lanai was great to hang out and grill. Plenty of lights for after dark. It's centrally located, so close to everywhere you want to be on the north of the island. There were beach chairs and pool toys available. Not a lot, but plenty for our group of 6. The house was clean and well decorated inside. It's furnished with adequate cooking utensils and equipment. Some may complain that they need to buy additional toilet paper or paper towel, but the house came furnished with plenty to get us started. The beds were soft, plenty of towels and the dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge all worked great. Water pressure was good in the showers and plenty of hot water for our group of 6. The outdoor space has seen a bit of use. The deck could use some sealing and the little pool table has a few chipped tiles. Also, the ice machine and water from fridge were pretty slow, may need a filter change. But that's being really picky to be honest. We had a wonderful time and its a great property we would happily at again!

MN January get away

We decided to get away from Minnesota’s -20 windchill -8 below weather to Anna Maria Island and chose this VRBO due to the pool as well as the hot tub. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as warm as we would’ve liked but we enjoyed the hot tub. The only bad part with the hot tub was it was only set to about 80-85° initially and wouldn’t heat up unless you left it on for hours and make sure you went back-and-forth to keep it turned on Once the bubbles stopped it cooled off again. The house was as described for the most part clean couple of defects especially in the master bedroom the floor was coming up and the Roku the batteries kept dying so we ended up buying batteries after batteries no big deal just a heads up to the owner. We didn’t use the grill because it was a bit dirty but we had all the pots and pans that we needed to cook inside the house though we did check out all the local fares quite a bit. Overall our stay was good I’m not sure that I would recommend it with anybody with little kids because they they had an awful lot of knickknacks bottles shells that could break or be spilled nice decor overall though just not little kid friendly.

Great Family Vacation

This is a charming cottage! We had plenty of room for our family of six and enjoyed the beautiful pool. It was very clean and we loved the decor. The location was great to the golf cart rental, beach, restaurants, general store and shops. If we had any questions regarding the property, the management company was very quick to respond. Our family had a great time and we will return.

Great location within walking distance to all you need… just wish there were more mermaids 😀 only challenge was showers being used at same time, impacted hot water. Overall a great stay!! Would definitely go back!

Overall, the stay was fine. The pool area was very pleasant. The property needs basic maintenance, such as lights that didn't work, flooring that was loose, leaky faucets, and other such problems. It also needed some basic cleaning. For the price charged, better attention needs to be given to the maintenance and cleanliness.

AMI vacation

The house is well located on the island to both sides and beaches, very nicely decorated and well outfitted with kitchen items, towels, etc. Our party included 6 adults which crowded the kitchen. Large amount of seating in the living room. The master bedroom is very large with a walk-in shower; the queen size bedroom also has a walk-in shower and the room with the twins is suitable for children. The common bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The pool is large but not easily accessible for older adults who might have impairment with their legs....no rails to get into/out of pool. It was our first time to Anna Maria Island and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Beautiful home

Excellent location on Spring just behind the wonderful general store. We spent most of our time in and around the beautiful pool. House is clean and modern with plenty of room. Definitely plan on renting this again.

Family vacation at Mermaid Cove

We chose this location for 6 adults, all over 35 years old, and the house is perfectly situated for fun, food, and good times. The property managers were quick to communicate and address anything we needed. I’d highly recommend taking advantage of renting a golf cart to get around the island, and one of the rental facilities is literally a block from the house. We would like to come back!

Great stay in paradise!

Thank you for sharing this great property! Pool, bbq and hot tub area were amazing! Accurate listing, easy booking, great accommodations. Only note is the bed sheets on the master bed are so frustrating! They do not fit the bed properly so you are left fighting to keep them on instead of getting good night sleep. We eventually moved to another room and a smaller bed. Again frustrating given the price you pay for the property.

Great Location

So close to some of the islands top restaurants and a block away from the ocean. It was the perfect house for our group and the pool/hot tub was the cherry on top!

Property was extremely clean upon check in. Loved the house decor and set up for a family. The location was ideal with everything we needed within walking distance. The kids had a great time using the pool and hot tub every afternoon. Backyard pool area was really nice with a fun beachy vibe. We can't wait to come back!
