Beautiful panoramic views of Dworshak reservoir. The cabin includes a full kitchen with all the cooking utensils you would need, a dishwasher, fridge, 3 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, two large living rooms with couches and recliners, one large family dining area, a large flatscreen television with a video game consul and lots of different movies, wifi available. Ideal location for all outdoor recreation activities. Please remember this not a 5 star resort, it’s a cabin, it is rustic inside and out. No it’s not under construction. Thank you for looking!

Property

Property owner was responsive, was a bit surprised at the property maintenance. Cabin was clean, but not what expected at first arrival. Once there a few hours it was fine.view of the lake was accurate. Just don’t be taken back by the rustic, unkept look.

Great Home Base

I had a group of guys stay here for a fishing trip. The property was perfect for our group. Plenty of beds, room for a bunch of guys, a shop to park truck/boats in, cooking options (kitchen/grilling), & proximity to the boat ramp. I will likely book again for future trips.

Close to the lake!

This rustic cabin checked the boxes we needed for our fishing trip near the lake. The owner was easy to communicate and work with. I'm sure we'll try and stay here again!

Beautiful views and lots of room

Had an amazing view of the lake and plenty of beds for a large group of fisherman. A little far from town which is a bummer for some but saw it as a benefit, no neighbors just your group and nature. Only a few minutes to the launch ramp and your off and fishing.

Fishing Trip

Great place for fishing: I booked this so a group of my family could do a long weekend of fishing at Dworshak reservoir. The cabin is a 4 min. drive from the state park ramp and has plenty of turn around for up to 4 trucks with boats. Plenty of room for 7 people to have their own beds. The place is rustic but if you are booking to enjoy the location then the place is perfect. A side note the google maps route can take you a sketchy way. Stay on the main roads which is old hwy7 to freeman creek.

Quiet Get Away

It appears they are remodeling, as a family of construction professionals it was a little hard to get past the flaws. However the house was solid, very comfortable and had absolutely everything one would need. We appreciated all the kids toys; the 17 month old loved playing with them. The last bit of the driveway is hairy so definitely drive a 4 wheel vehicle if you are renting this. The view was breath taking.

Dworshak Cabin

This was described as a rustic cabin property and we're fishermen, so we didn't have super high expectations. The view was spectacular and there is plenty of space, but the Wi-Fi only works sporadically and the heat/air worked only half the time. The dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes and it doesn't work. We had to hand wash everything. The garbage can outside was completely full because the previous renters didn't take it with them. The downstairs refrigerator was full of expired food items which we threw away. We hauled away all of the garbage which was a space problem for us. The roof leaked next to the Starlink unit so we put a large bowl underneath it to catch all of the water. The deck is in significant disrepair so we were careful in our use. The stairs to the basement are steep with no rail which is a significant safety issue. On balance, we really enjoyed our stay, but the safety issues, Wi-Fi, and heat/air issues should be addressed.

Misrepresentation

The pictures on VRBO are nothing like the true place itself. If someone is looking for a great place at that high cost, this is not the place to waste your money on. Every bedroom and all closets for that matter, were stuffed with clothes as if someone actually lived there. We didn’t have anywhere to put our clothes so we lived out of the suitcase. Bathrooms were full of bottled shampoos, cream rinse, etc…They had the furnace locked so we didn’t have much heat except the single wall mounts. We had to clean the filters that were clogged of dirt that looked like they were never cleaned. Horrible. Construction was half assed and dangerous. The refrigerator was full of food, the food in the cupboards they left were all out dated. Smell of mold, dirty. The porch windows have big cracks in the glass, the refrigerator was plugged in to an extension cord and was stretched across the floor to a big window and extended out the window to a plug in somewhere outside.as well the same way with the satellite. You could not close the window. Washer worked, dryer did not. Wifi didn’t work very well. The deck and half the house floors are all leaning and not level. As you can see we have nothing nice to say because there wasn’t much comfort except the living room. We will never rent that place again. Too dangerous. We have pictures if you would like. Plus I feel a substantial refund should be awarded.

Great Views needs repair

It does have a great veiw however it is under consrtuction that is not mentioned, the deck needs alot of repair, there are some areas that may be considered dangers, and the air conditioning was broken when I was there in 100 degree weather, Needs some improvement.

The cabin did not disappoint and that view... The cabin was clean, comfortable and Micheal was helpful. We did not want to leave. We will be staying again.

Peace and quiet..... Perfect

If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place for you. The views are above and beyond what you could hope for. The house has everything you need. Rustic? Yes, but that's why you want to go there. We will definitely be going here again.

Great Property with a view

Great view property. Lots of room to spread out. Property is rustic as described, but is an excellent value for the price. We had 10 people with a mix of adults and kids, and had lots of room. It is a quick drive to the lake and the boat ramp.

Wonderful Place to Vacation At

My family of 12 had an awesome time at this property! There were plenty of beds, it is very comfortable and roomy for a larger group. We brought 2 corn hole boards and had plenty room to play tournaments in the parking area. We also brought fishing boats with plenty room at the property to park them. This property has a beautiful view where we spent a lot of time on the decks soaking it in! My family would love to make this an annual tradition gathering at this property! Mark was available anytime if needed.

Good and bad

Owners were friendly, views are spectacular. However, the decks are out of date and dangerous for little kids, and some rooms of the house need updated badly. Just kinda feel deceived by the pics and what was really there

Peaceful & Beautiful

We spent 4 nights at Mark's cabin, it was so peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. And as for the view, it was simply amazing. Mark was very easy to communicate with and always replied quickly. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, just bring your food. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next family outing.
