Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Main bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bedroom with queen bed and bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, extra-large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool/beach towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer.

Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Amazing ocean front views!

The condo is as described, kitchen well furnished, beach equipment, very comfortable and the view of the ocean and sunsets were perfect and we saw some whales while sitting on the lanai. We hope this unit will be available for our next visit.

Exactly What We Expected

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and unit. It is a clean, well maintained and perfectly located property for all of our needs. The booking process and all the other administrative aspects went very smoothly again. We will stay here next time we come to Kihei.

We stayed during the COVID-19 outbreak and found the Management company was very good about keeping us updated via email with changes happening at the resort that impacted our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at A420 at the Maui Sunset! I have stayed at the MS many times and this was one of my favorite units. It was very relaxing to sit out on the spacious lanai and take in the ocean/mountain, tennis court and pool views. The grounds are great because not only are they beautiful, but also functional. You can take long walks on the manicured grass and/or walk a short distance to the beach and walk a long way in either direction. The pool is nice as well. And, the folks at Maui Sunset Vacation Rentals were very responsive to the questions I asked before and during our trip. I highly recommend A420.

7 Days is not enough

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We started with reservations of a partial view of the ocean. I messaged the management staff before we arrived to see if there was any full ocean view condo's available and they responded with in 30 minutes with a option to change. Yes it was a upgrade and it was worth every bit. The room was clean and fully stocked with kitchen ware, towels, pillows and beach equipment. There is also a washer and dryer if you wanted to wash anything while there. Checkin was so easy and fast, if you arrive after hours they will send your room number and door code. Pool cleaned everyday with options to rent snorkels etc.. Tennis courts and shuffle board available. Sitting on the balcony every morning drinking a cup of coffee is a dream come true. The condo is very close to lots of amenities so you don't have to drive far at all. A walk to the ocean is just 3 minutes from the condo's. Check out was easy, just drop off the keys and you are on your way. Highly recommend The Maui Sunset and we will be back again soon to stay for 2 weeks.

A420 was in the perfect spot for our needs. We had the sun beating in for about 2 hours in the evening, but we also had a fantastic view of the sunset every night. It was quiet and extremely well maintained.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful unit!! Perfect location with a beautiful ocean view from the large well furnished balcony. We had a late arrival on a Saturday night and were disappointed the office was closed until Monday and there was no one available to provide us with a key fob so we lost a day at the pool. The unit was very comfortable and as described with upgraded appliances, furniture, cooking supplies, tv etc. The whole facility was very well maintained, especially the pool area and grounds. The beach was nice, but the ocean at this location is not great for swimming as it is very rocky. We did have an issue with one rude group of guests smoking pot on the outside walkway by our bedroom windows, the smell of which was drawn into our unit by the ac units, there was no problem once they left and the vast majority of guests at this complex seemed responsible. The property is in a good location with grocery stores, pharmacy and restaurants all close by. As advertised the sunsets were magnificent!!! Strongly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

The unit was very well stocked with supplies, including quality cooking equipment, pool and beach supplies. The view from the patio was spectacular. While the unit was spacious enough for two couples and a 16mo. old - the bathrooms were a little small,but wouldn't be a deal breaker if contemplating staying here again. Unit was clean, the grounds immaculate and extremely well maintained, including the pool area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four (kids are 7 and 8) enjoyed a great week in suite A420 at Maui Sunset. This was the fourth time my wife and I have been to Maui. All of the properties we've stay at prior to this have been good, but this one was a step above for two reasons. Firstly, it's right on the beach, which makes beach walks and sunsets very convenient. Secondly, the location is very near a lot of restaurants and grocery stores, so you are never in the car that come meal time. For the first time, we left Maui thinking that we'd probably like to stay at the same place again next time.We all loved the pool (especially the kids) and the grounds were very well maintained. It was a very relaxing place for a much-needed getaway and it was the foundation for providing our kids life-long memories.The suite itself was clean and well-maintained and the TV options kept the kids busy when needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and beach gear was great, as well. The lanai had fabulous views of the pool, grounds, and beach, and is one of the suites real differentiators.The only quibble we have would be that the A/C units were pretty noisy and perhaps due for replacement. They are all on max 4-hour timers, which means that I was up in the middle of every night to turn them back on again in our bedrooms. Being sustainably-minded, I completely understand the need to conserve power; however, I'm guessing there is a better solution out there.Thanks so much and we hope to be back at some point!

The sunsets were spectacular. The care of your grounds was exceptional and greatly appreciated. i left my phone, only to realize it at the airport after my car was turned in. Thankfully because of my iPad i was able to get on free wifi and contact you. You had found the phone by then and helped me by mailing it to me! this put my fears to rest and i came home feeling completely served by all of you. thank you! monica

The view from this condo is spectacular. The grounds are amazing & tons of activities on property. Large condo with plenty of linens and beach chairs. Wonderful hosts, you won’t be disappointed.
