Villa Buena Vista is a modern and extremely spacious property.
It benefits from a huge openplan living/ dining area with valted ceiling, wood burning fire .The amazing Italian design kitchen with black granite worktops is both modern and fully equipped including 5 ring gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle plus a large central island with bar stools making it a perfect spot to plan your day over breakfast and a separate utility room with iron, ironing board plus washing machine.

In the living room there is wood burning fire. Extras provided include: hairdryer, BBQ. Baby high chair.
Beautiful stone effect dining table with 8 chairs ( additional seating for larger groups). large glass sliding doors leading onto the patio area with a covered shaded sitting area with comfortable sitting , outdoor dinning area with 8 dinning chairs plus on the large sunterrace there are numerous sunbeds overlooking the private tropical garden.
This incredible villa has 4 large bedrooms:
Master bedroom 1: Sleep in style in this elegent beautiful room with double bed, walk in wardrobe and huge dressing table/ work space. It has direct outside access and views of the garden and sea
Master Bedroom 2 : Is a light and airy room with double bed private sitting/ work space .It has direct access to the sunterrace and views of mountain, garden and sea.
Bedroom 3: This spacious room come with a double bed and benifts from its own work space plus stunning sunrise views over the mountains.
Bedroom 4 : with 2 single beds this room has garden views and direct access to outdoor sitting and dinning area.
A cot is available if requested.
An additional child's bed or cot are available , please enquire.

Master Bathroom 1: An extra large en-suite with hugh walk-in shower, WC plus large sitting and dressing area with free standing mirror
Master Bedroom 2: large modern en-suite bathroom containing bath/shower and WC .

Bathroom 4: Conveniently situated adjacent to pool and sunterrace has a sink, WC plus alfresco shower.

Villa Buena Vista has the unique feature of an indoor heated pool ( the pool temperature is generally maintained at around 24 degrees however additional heating up to 28 degrees can be provided at an additional cost, please ask for extra details) . Surrounded by lockable sliding doors giving an indoor/outdoor feel so you can enjoy a dip what ever the weather! The pool overlooks the sun terrace and tropical planted garden. For those with small children, for safety reasons, it is possible to completely shut off access to the pool area
Fantastic views of El Cotillo and the surrounding mountains, giving the perfect opportunity to watch Fuerteventura's breathtakingly sun rise and sunsets plus due to the island being a biosphere and starlight reserve you can experience incredible stargazing. Villa Buena Vista is only 1km away from a superb range of bars and restaurants, supermarkets, local shops. Just a few minutes drive away you will also find the world famous surf beach plus El Cotillo's stunning natural lagoons.

Fantastic

Have stayed at this villa many times in the last few years. The location and attention to detail in the villa is fantastic. Lovely peaceful position, and village and beaches easily accessible . Stewart and Tanya have always been very professional and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anybody.

Perfect break with mum

What a beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location. Just the 2 of us but obviously loads of room for 8 people. Exceptionally well equipped, we didn’t need anything. Pool is fabulous, outside space is lovely sitting out on comfy sofas in the evening, eating inside and out is easy as plenty of dining space to suit your mood. We will definitely come again and thinking of bringing the family.

Family holiday

The villa was beautiful , very clean, modern and spacious with a fantastic pool leading out to a sitting area outside. We had everything we needed and Stewart was just a phone call away. As a big family the villa met all our needs and I’d definitely recommend it. I would say that even though you can walk to the shops, the area is quite remote so a car would be needed to venture further. Definitely we would come back.

Wonderful Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming house for our vacation, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. The house was spotless! It’s evident that the hosts take great care in maintaining a pristine environment for their guests. Our host was Friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, they made us feel welcome. In summary, this vacation home exceeded our expectations. Having rented many villas over the years, this is one of the best we have stayed in and made even more so by the ease of contact with the owner. Pool was a little cool to start with but was soon sorted out and enjoyed most days. Fabulous location for walking down to the coast, shame there is not a restaurant in the village but plenty of choice a short, 5 minute drive away in El Cottillo or 20-25 minute walk. Very well equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking for a number of people. If booking as a group with friends in future, will certainly book again. Thank you Stuart and Tanya

5 great weeks

We stayed with our 2 kids (2y and 5y old) 5 weeks in Fuerteventura in this villa. It's a beautiful, huge house with also a lot of space around. The kids enjoyed beeing in the nature and having there freedom to play and run in the huge garden. Also remote working & Videocalls were possible without Problems as the WiFi is very stable. Some Interieur of the Villa is not in the best condition anymore and we also had some water related issues. But we found an agreement with Stewart in this and he also is about to fix the issues. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our time on Fuerteventura a lot.

Fabulous Getaway

My wife and I had the most fabulous peaceful getaway together in this beautiful well equipped villa. The location was secluded and quiet, and everything so clean and to a very high standard, just what we were looking for as an escape from our everyday busy lives. The villa was spacious and set in its own walled gardens and was just perfect, having everything we could have wanted on hand. Also the indoor pool was such a bonus as we were able to open up all the doors on a hot sunny day (plenty of those) but perfect for when there was a Fuerteventura breeze blowing some afternoons. The villa is ideally situated in the sleepy village of El Roque and only a stones throw away from the costal town and beaches of El Cotillo, which has a nice feel to it and a good selection of shops bars and restaurants, ideal for all our needs. Also it is only a short car journey to the larger town of Corralejo and the sand dunes and beaches of the East coast. If you are looking for that perfect peaceful getaway, then this is the place for you. Also Stewart and Tanya who own and rent out this villa and live not too far away, are the most welcoming and helpful of people you could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble should you need them. The best villa that we have holidayed in.

The location is perfectly situated with just a short drive into El Cotillo, Lajares and a little further to Corralejo and La Oliva. The property itself had recently been refurbished and felt like new. The kitchen had everything that we needed and had all modern appliances. The huge lounge was great with a very high ceiling helping to cool it. The smart TV was very useful some evenings if we didn't go out and the wifi was fine with just the occasional blip. New mattresses in the bedrooms made it very comfortable for sleeping, each having a fan. I would say that air con in the bedrooms is the only thing missing although some people prefer not to have it. The indoor pool was a perfect temperature. We were unsure if we were going to like an indoor pool as opposed to an outdoor one but in the end we felt that it was better. The outdoor space is great for relaxing with a book, with plenty of shade and loungers if you are a sun lover. Stewart and Tanya are lovely people and not to far away if you need help although we only called on them once to help reset the TV which they did for us over the phone This spacious villa makes you feel like a rock star, you won't be disappointed. Lovely villa in a lovely Location

Our party of 7 booked this lovely villa in March for some winter sunshine. The weather did not let us down. The village of El Roque was lovely, quiet with character, no bars or shops, which suited fine. The resort of ElCotillo is a very nice walk of about a mile but we hired bikes which meant we could get to the beaches, supermarket, harbour etc, easily. Well worth exploring the bike tracks around the coast line. The villa has 8 beds but the dining facilities only catered for 6 so we had to move chairs around. The twin bedded room was very small for adults with very little space for clothes. We loved the villa but just felt a little more effort was needed to cater for full capacity. Stuart was very helpful but it would have been nice to be greeted on arrival as we didn’t know what the rules were or where the water heater etc was, or even a book of information, however, we were left a very welcome bottle of wine, beers, milk and water so thank you for that. We would definitely recommend this villa and I do feel that Stuart and Tanya are trying to get things right, we asked for another sun bed and it was delivered the next day. El Cotillo is certainly a beautiful part of the island, quiet and unspoilt with lovely bays, even a great beach bar called Torino, well worth a visit for his garlic prawns and calamari. Relied on old reviews, needs work

Nice quiet location and big villa, unfortunately we relied on old reviews as there was nothing more recent. I can see how the villa a couple of years ago was excellent but now it’s a bit tired. Blinds in the lounge are yellowed and broken so you cannot close at night, mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the front door had to be locked to stay closed, the door to the master en-suite did not close. Dishwasher dispenser didn’t work and you had to light some hob rings with a match as the igniter didn’t work. Wi-Fi is available but you have to pay extra for it at an expensive rate. The worst part for us was being told the day before arrival that the pool heating had broken. The indoor pool was the main reason we had booked the villa to enjoy time with the kids in there. It had broken on the Monday and we were told on the Wednesday. As it was over Easter we were told it couldn’t be fixed. On arrival some of us tried to use the pool but it was just too cold as with no heating and the sun not shining on it to heat, the temp had dropped. It hovered around 21 degrees. We asked to leave the morning after arrival due to this but were told by the owner we were unable to cancel and would have to forfeit the amount paid less 200 euro. We ended up staying as couldn’t afford to pay for our holiday twice and made the most of our time there by driving to the beach instead. The pool warmed a bit with the weather but didn’t get above 23 degrees all week despite the fact we keep all the doors closed as advised so was still too cold for most of the party. We definitely left disappointed at the amount we had paid for the facilities advertised not to be available.

A catalogue of problems

El Cotillo is an absolutely fantastic location and would thoroughly recommend it. However our stay there was a catalogue of problems which began with being kept waiting to be shown to the villa for an hour and a half in a strange place following a long journey and having had nothing to eat. The following day I had to contact the owner because the "indoor heated pool" was absolutely freezing. He explained the reason was that it was solar heated (something not made clear on your website listing - in fact it states a pool that can be used whatever the weather) and because the weather had been bad the previous 2 weeks the pump wasn't working so weill and so the pool wasn't heating up and would be rectified if the weather improved. I accepted this at face value and got up the following morning to find no hot water. He explained that this was due to the bad weather ( so you can only have a shower when the sun shines??) and the water could be heated separately. The following day was extremely hot and still the pool was freezing. The fact that there was no hot water should have alerted him to a more serious problem and he should have shown more care and investigated the problem. It took him until the Wednesday (when most of our party were leaving) to finally come at which point he realised the pump was not working at all. Electricians called out and said would need a new part and they would return Thursday morning to fit it. They did return only to find that it didn't work and that a new pump would need to be fitted. We then went out for the rest of the day (no point staying there with an unusable pool) and returned to a note from the owner saying the electricians would be fitting a new pump that afternoon. I assumed it had been done and was surprised when the electricians turned up again Friday morning. So clearly a new pump had not been fitted at all. They spent hours fiddling about with little success and finally got off very quickly saying the pump is sorted and on now. Within minutes of them leaving gallons of water were pouring out from the pump cupboard flooding the villa. Fortunately we had stayed in and had the foresight to turn the fuse off otherwise the whole villa and our belongings would have been under water. The electricians returned and spent a further hour cleaning up by which time we had had enough (it was our last day and not once had we been able to use the pool and put up with endless intrusions) and said we just wanted to be left alone unti

Sehr schöne große Anlage

Die Größe der Anlage war schon beeindruckend. Platz war genug da. Im laufe der Jahre sind ein paar Reparaturen notwendig geworden, die ausgeführt werden sollten. Die Küchenutensilien und Gläser/Besteck etc. sollten man mal erneuern. Alles etwas zu sehr abgenutzt. Auch die Betten ( 160cm) sind in die Jahre gekommen und durchgelegen. Deshalb in Summe auch nur 4 Sterne !

Heerlijk verblijf op top locatie!

Een mooie luxe villa voor een grote familie, mooie locatie met uitzicht op El Cotillo. Heerlijke ruime kamers met een groot terras en zwembad in het huis. we hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf en misschien tot een volgende keer!

Muy amplia

La casa es amplia y bonita , las estancias comodas, terraza salon, comedor y cocina muy comodos. Para mejorar:Los colchones, somier y almohadas malisimos😓 La piscina cerrada muy bien por el viento que hace en la zona, pero falló la climatizacion que no calentaba el agua. Los dueños trataron de solucionarlo rapidamente y nos devolvieron el dinero,se preocuparon de buscar soluciones. ✅ La Television es por wifi y nos faltó poder ver la tele un rato en directo, los canales "normales"

Simply wonderful

We spent a wonderful week at Vista El Cotillo. The villa is located a little outside of El Roque, so a car is definitely helpful. The villa itself is lovely, everything is very spacious and the kids enjoyed the pool as well as exploring the rocky area around the house. I loved the kitchen with the huge table and bar stools in the middle, so we never used the actual dining table. We cooked our meals most days and found the kitchen very well-equipped, though some things naturally are not like at home (e.g. a really sharp knife or a big pot to cook spaghetti for a hungry crowd of 5, and not having to use the one for serving 10 ;-)). The patio with its sundbeds and comfy sofas definitely was another highlight to relax and read a book while enjoying a view into the well-tended garden. Some minor things to maybe improve: - the pool has no lighting, so it cannot be used at night (to avoid drunk people in the pool during parties getting out of hand, this definitely is a plus ;-), but for our kids it would have been nice to be able to jump in after dark. - despite the additional pool heating, for me personally, the water was still way too cold and I didn't manage to dip more than a toe in - but probably I am just a wimp. - the WIFI is at extra cost which I think is a little outdated and should be a standard offering nowadays. Having this said I want to reiterate: we could have not had a better place and we would love to come back! Thanks again to Stewart and Tanya for having been such lovely and responsive hosts!

Buena estancia pero habria que mejorar la limpieza de la casa

La casa esta bien. Las zonas comunes estan muy bien pero en general a la casa le hacia falta una limpieza en profundidad. Los perros del vecino estan todo el dia por fuera y ladradando desde muy temprano. Si quieres disponer de wi-fi tienes que pagarlo aparte, algo que no entendimos.
