Regarding the points made, i was not made aware of any issues during your stay or contacted at any point by yourself received I received this review in October at the end of the season, four weeks after your departure otherwise I would have moved to address any issues immediately during your stay. In fact, until now all other reviews have been very positive in every way. Every season the home is decorated and spring cleaned and maintained throughout the season between guests stays where possible so I can ensure any future the guests the home is as advertised and in pristine condition. Thank you once more for taking the time to write as we always want to ensure at all times the home offered is in perfect condition for every guest.

I think some balance is required to be applied to this review. Please note check in at the home is 2 to 6pm. A late check in charge applies as confirmed and clearly stated on the booking contract for arrivals after 9pm. The guest did not inform us of any delay, rather we contacted the guest. Indeed we arranged the fridge to stocked up for there late arrival of a Sunday evening with food and wine. Steps are mentioned on the advert "Steps to the home may deem the property unsuitable for elderly or infirm guests" To benefit from the spectacular view mentioned the home has to be elevated. So providing guests are reasonably fit there is no issue. The home is immaculately presented and cleaned between each stay with fresh linen, towels and bedding supplied on arrival. The charge is advertised and also communicated on the contract. It was unfortunate that the refridgeration company could not call out promptly for which we apologised to the guests and kept them updated however i must stress the fridge and freezer were in full working order for the length of these guests stay and it was only the outer cosmetic door that needed attention. As a goodwill gesture we agreed to an afternoon check out on departure as well as a couple of bottles of complimentary italian wine. I am sorry i have to disagree with the comments made regarding damage caused to the sofa. The guest had caused stains to the sofa and covered up the stains with cushions and failed to own up to this when we had asked them if there was any damage to report when we met the guests at check out to return the security deposit. The damage bond is 350 euro. We returned 290 euros immediately to this guest hence only charged 60 euro for the sofa to be recleaned in order that the home would be perfect for the next guests. This is the first time in nine years we have had to make a deduction from the security bond. As an agency it is sometimes a difficult call between keeping the guests happy or making a deduction in the very rare instance of any damage caused by a guest. It is never a nice thing to do and perhaps the bone of contention for these guests and the reason behind submitting this review which as you can see from the other guests comments is clearly out of sync where guests have praised us for going the extra mile.
