We had wonderful days, the starting point for wonderful trips to the Cotswold, Salisbury, Oxford, London, Stonehege... our 11 year old boy also loved the meadow and the goal for reenacting the European Championships

Wonderful Coach House

We enjoyed pur stay at the Coach House very much. The house is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Our kids loved the garden which is very well kept and offers a lot of outside equipment to play with (swings, ball games..). A big thank you to our hosts, they were always available when needed, helpful, very friendly and gave us great recommendations for sightseeing, pubs, shops.

Lovely farmhouse

We had a great time. David and Gillian were very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of places to visit in the local area - including a local farm recommended by Gillian that was a real hit with our toddler - and a lovely garden at the front of the house to enjoy. The house itself was very comfortable and just what we wanted. Thank you!

Almost at home abroad

It’s a nice house, well equipped with a few small minors: Only 1 toilet, but luckily upstairs. Small parent bed with hard matras. But overall a lovely clean accomodation, owned by nice helpfull people.

We appreciate customer feedback, however, your comments unfairly relate to an honest listing. The bed sizes are as per the listing, the double bed is a standard "double" bed and firmness of the mattress is a personal preference. The Toilet and bathroom are also as per the listing. I suggest more care is taken when reading the property description to avoid the possibility of future disappointment.

Wonderful location and very family friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. Our hosts were there to greet us on arrival, explained everything we would need to know on our house tour and were attentive without being intrusive at all throughout our stay. The Coach House had all the facilities we needed for our family of five, including a crib and highchair for our infant. It was warm, very clean, comfortable and convenient. We explored the surrounding area each day and were grateful for a warm and homelike setting to come back to in the evening. Highly recommend this property in terms of value and comfort to any young family looking to tour the region.

Lovely property!

The property is lovely, spacious and well equipped. The location is quiet and secluded, but easily accessible with good access to local major roads. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We did have a bad experience with mites in the electrics in the main bedroom with rather put a dampener on my birthday breakfast and the TV didn't work on the first and last day which was annoying, but the host was very helpful when we reported problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Hi Libby, We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed The Coach House. The mites have been dealt with, as you know, we replaced the Wi-Fi hub immediately, as soon as you let us know that there was a problem and they are no longer present, we know that you will understand that some problems that occur are out of our control & in 27 years this is a first for us! We have replaced the Television with another smart tv and had we known it was playing up on the night of your arrival would have done so sooner. Thank you for your understanding. A cottage with everything you could want.

Immaculate property, completely supplied with cleaning products, and anything else you might possibly need. Very comfortable with lovely furniture and comfortable beds. Hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful. It is convenient to have them right on the property as well. The location is good, in that it is in the southern Cotswolds, and in an hour and 15 minutes, you will be to the northernmost villages. Convenient to grocery shopping, and major roads of transportation. One of the nicest and best supplied properties we have stayed in.

Immaculate property

A very warm welcome from our hosts. The Coach House was immaculate, beautifully furnished and had everything one could need. Nice large rooms and an extremely comfortable bed. We appreciated the nicely decorated Christmas tree and the gifts left for us.

Fantastic Coach House!

We spent a very relaxing 2 weeks in this fabulous coach house. Gillian and David have thought of everything from comfortable beds to a really well-equipped kitchen and many extras. The location is perfect for exploring The Cotswolds and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Clean, attractive decor, good sized rooms and convenient for exploring the area. David and Gillian very friendly and helpful. Great Sicilian restaurant in Highworth and well stocked organic vegetable stall. Busy road at the gate..careful when driving out.

Thank you for staying with us and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. The road at the end of the drive is busy at present with diverted traffic due to a roundabout closure on the A420, this is scheduled to re-open in December 2021

Lovely cottage in good location

We spent two weeks in this lovely cottage which is well situated for the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. David & Gillian were very welcoming and on hand if required but also allowing us privacy to enjoy our holiday. Nice big garden to keep children amused and plenty of wildlife around. We were visited by a Robin at around 3pm each day and occassionally the cows that graze in the field peer through the window to say hello. We enjoyed our time and would not hesitate returning or recommending this cottage.

A great stay

Everything was excellent. The hosts were terrific, home had everything you could ask for, nice walks nearby, and a short drive to a variety of shops. Met some nice dogs cats and cows. Had a great stay and highly recommend.
