Our holiday was lovely, staying at this clean and comfortable cottage. The pool was an added bonus with the weather being so good. The host was easy to get hold of and she had provided everything needed for our stay. The New Forest is wonderful and lots of animals turn up literally on the doorstep. Delightful !!!.

I came with my husband, mum and two children (age 2 & 4). From start to finish we had an amazing time! The house had everything you could possibly need and it was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy too. Kids and adults loved the pool spa. We saw lots of donkeys and horses near the cottage too. Would highly recommend.

Well I am pleased you still enjoyed your return visit to Crossroads Cottage. Jane and Sue take great care to prepare the house for guests. The swimspa is a bonus for water loving guests. The only thing we cannot control is the weather, so you had your holiday at the right moment. We hope to welcome your family back to Frogham

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. You will be warmly welcomed if you do return. You had a warm week for October, with some sunshine however Autumn was certainly starting to show itself in the mornings. The Aga is going on this week and the oil top up delivery has been booked. Jane said she will be changing over the duvets this week, in readiness for the colder nights.

Delightful first stay at Crossroads Cottage.Spacious but cosy cottage. Having an indoor pool was a key factor in choosing Crossroads and we made good use of it. Location was perfect... lovely walks and sharing the heathland with horses, ponies, donkeys and cows was an added delight.

Check in was easy with good communication from host. The cottage is like being at home with everything available that you're likely to need. The swim spa an added bonus. It is in a perfect quiet position for seeing wildlife and the pub is across the road!!

I am pleased you enjoyed your break in the New Forest. Crossroads Cottage is a home from home and as you say the swimspa is an added luxury for your stay. It is lovely when guests like the cottage as much as we do and the location is perfect for seeing animals at the gate, walks, visits to ‘attractions’ and of course the pub.

Repeat stay - still just as wonderful

Lovely area and relaxing pool! We enjoyed our stay with walks across icy fields seeing donkeys and horses and then swimming in the nice pool. House was clean and well supplied.

We are a 3 generational family of 5 and had an amazing stay at Crossroads Cottage. There were so many books,puzzles and games to enjoy and plenty of space to relax in when we were not in the beautiful New Forest. The location is great but the highlight for us was the indoor pool which was warm and so much fun on a wet day.

Excellent that is lovely to hear. The pool is an added bonus, we leave the books etc to give guests other things to do if they like reading/puzzles or games. The New Forest is a special place particularly when there are baby animals around in early summer. I am pleased crossroads cottage met your expectations.

Lovely stay

Beautiful house in a great location, lots of nature all around with horses and donkeys passing by daily. Great location for all kinds of visits and activities, we especially loved the archery available at just the other side of Fordingbridge. The pool was a huge bonus, very unique and great fun.

I am so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. The new forest is a lovely area and the animals are everywhere. the swims-spa is fantastic, but I am biased of course. The archery sounds interesting. our sons grew up here and the New Forest was literally their playground at Hyde school, swell as a place to cycle run around and play in the stream.

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage in a wonderful area of the new forest with walks, donkeys, horses, pubs right on the doorstep. Great swim spa/pool. The cottage is well equipped and everything is as described. We had a fantastic week and enjoyed our stay.

Return visit

It's was our second time booking Angela's cottage and it was just a lovely and relaxing as the first time. The house has everything you need, the location is wonderful and you have the added bonus of the swim spa.

Great holiday

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very comfortable. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Well placed to go for walks and cycling in the forest and only 30 minutes away from the beach. We enjoyed using the indoor pool and appreciated the robes and towels for coming out of the pool.

As I say in the description it is peaceful compared to the more southern tourist areas, whilst being close to many sttractions visited by tourists and locals alike. The pool is beautiful, I still like looking at the tiles , even after these years. The new forest is a special place to holiday in and live in.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. The pool is amazing and can either be relaxing or invigorating, depending on your requirements.. The New Forest is lovely at this time of year with baby donkeys and foals at the gate. Of course we are biased as it is our family home too!

Lovely Cosy Cottage

We had a wonderful week staying at this lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage provides everything you need for a comfortable stay with the swim spa being an added bonus. Perfect base for exploring all that the New Forest has to offer. Highly recommended.

Animal heaven

How unique to have animals at the garden gate. Wonderful experience and would revisit again.

It is, even when it is your 'home', the baby donkeys still are as cute as ever each year. The only downside is having to make sure the gates are closed and that they cannot reach your rubbish on a Friday.! It is a privilege and we are fortunate to see them every day. I am pleased they made tour holiday special and gave you fond memories. Angela

Perfect cottage and location

Excellent cottage, relaxing pool

The cottage is extremely well supplied and the little extra of Halloween decorations was highly appreciated by the kids. We had a lovely time visiting the New Forest sights and swimming in the warm and clean pool. Thank you!

Wonderful Traditional cottage

This cottage has everything. It is in a wonderful location for walks, pub across the road and a private swimming pool. The little touches in the house were great, swim robes and towels, a welcolme basket of lovely wine, biscuits etc. We will definitely come back here. Kids and us had a lovely time.

Perfect New Forest Cottage

Most years, we have spent the bit between Christmas and New Year in the New Forest. This is by far the best cottage we have rented. Perfect location - the ponies, donkeys and deer are literally on your doorstep! The cottage has a log-burning fire for those cold nights and a spa pool to relax in after a long walk on the forest.We could not recommend highly enough…

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Crossroads Cottage at such a special time for your family. The New Forest is a special place and we are fortunate to see animals at our gate. The swim spa is a luxury but lovely to wind down in and keep fit. It is our home so to that end we hope it makes our guests feel at home - we love our wood burner, it is not only makes the house cosy, it helps eek out the oil as it heats the house and water too!

Frogham Holliday

A really great property as described and surrounded by amazing wildlife horses and donkeys . We also had good support from the property management when the power company had a problem in the area with electricity . We would most definitely return .

Amazing place

The house is set in a fabulous location . Surrounded by great walks . The house is spacious and has everything you need and more. The pool is just fantastic and was enjoyed by everyone. The donkeys and horses are beautiful to watch . Lots to do within a short distance, highly recommend a visit to the heavy horse farm if you have young kids.lots of pubs serving delicious food . Will definitely be returning

Wonderful holiday in the new forest

What a wonderful holiday we have just had at crossroads cottage. Everything you could wish for. Walks in beautiful countryside just on the doorstep. The cottage is so well equipped nothing is missed out for the comfort of your stay. The pool is to die for, we used it every day.
