Peter Many thanks for you comments, we are happy that you mostly enjoyed stay and comment that you would return. If I may just provide a small explanation regards the issues you had. It is explained in our advert that the internet in Cyprus is way behind the rest of the EU and Wi-Fi only is available locally. We advertise that our Wi-Fi is FREE because it cannot be guaranteed at all times. We give FREE Wi-Fi with speeds of around 10mb, this is fine for most situations including smart phone usage, social media, zooming etc, we also offer FREE TV streaming which is fine 95% of the time. On this occasion I upgraded the Wi-Fi to the maximum of 50mb at my own expense to please our guest but unfortunately this was still not up to expectations on this occasion. We have never had complaints about the FREE Wi-Fi before now. The problem with shower was caused by a blockage in the drainage system, usually caused by people flushing paper etc down the toilet. Cyprus sewer systems are not like that of most EU countries and we do state in our advert that the use of bins are required. When our plumber checked the system, he did indeed find a blockage which was causing the water to back up. The villa itself was fully repainted inside and outside only last October by myself along with extensive new landscaping. All the outdoor furniture was brand new last year. The pool is not advertised as heated as pointed out. I will be returning to Cyprus in May (2023) and will inspect the older AirCon units in the bedrooms and will install new if required. Update June 2023. All air conditioning units have been replaced with new Bosch units. All bedroom fans have been replaced with new stainless steel contemporary fans. We now give the maximum wi-fi speeds of 50mb for free.
