Cottage (2 bedrooms - 3 beds) Polruan Fowey-stunning views over the estuary+sea

100% cancellation policy in the event of a Covid lockdown either nationallyh or in Cornwalll. Situated towards the castle end of West Street and offering stunning views of the estuary, September Cottage has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the highest standard. It sleeps up to 4. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have a King size bed but the one in Bedroom 2 will also split into 2 singles, known as a zip and link bed. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs, while the comfortable lounge/dining area and kitchen are all upstairs to take advantage of the views across the harbour to Fowey and Readymoney Cove. Wonderful views from every window. The coastal path is 50 yards from the door and Fowey is five minutes away by ferry from the harbour. We do not take pets. We have fibre optic broadband. We provide parking approx 100 metres from cottage. Electric car charger has been installed in the public car park. Regular Ferry to Fowey every five mins approx. You can hire a private ferry if you want to come back to Polruan late at night, especially useful in the winter. Come and enjoy the Du Maurier Fowey Literary Festival in May 2026. Com excelente localização em Fowey, esta casa de campo fica na zona rural e às margens de um rio. Estuário de Fowey e Readymoney Cove são atrações para quem gosta de atividades divertidas, mas a região ainda conta com Projeto Éden e Fowey Aquarium. Polperro Model Village e Marsh Villa Gardens também valem a visita. This is a lovely cottage in Polruan. It’s clean and well kept. While small, it was perfect for us as a family of 4, and the views from the living room are stunning over the harbour. It’s well located with easy access to the beach, pubs, village shop and the ferry to Fowey. We had a fabulous week.

Charming and peaceful stay

We stayed at this lovely little cottage the views were amazing loved watching the harbour and all the boats very relaxing .The village was so friendly what a beautiful place to stay .

50th weekend away

As a family we had a lovely stay in “September Cottage” - such a little gem. Very cosy and the views were amazing. Fab location and car parking included was great. A perfect getaway - we will definitely be returning. Thank you x

Perfect place to recover from the past year

Lovely cottage in great location.

Lovely little cottage in a great location with far reaching harbour views from living room and bedroom. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The dedicated parking spot is a big plus. Good communication with owners, we would certainly visit again.

Comfortable, warm and high standard accomodation

Very pleasing place with lovely views in all directions, great situation by the Blockhouse and inside very well thought out so that although it isn't large it feels spacious with lovely furnishings and decoration, Our second visit and hopefully there will be more - we love it there

September Cottage stay July 2023

We all enjoyed our stay at September Cottage. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more! and the views were amazing. Communication with the owner was spot on - she provided us with detailed information beforehand which we found very useful.

Charming house, charming town

A great cottage in a picturesque town. A good place to relax by the sea, hear the crashing waves and watch the sailboats from the window. Whether you want to just stay nearby or roam there are many possibilities such as the coastal paths, the ferry across to Fowey with its shops or other fantastic towns in the area (Polperro being a favorite).

Really comfortable cottage with amazing views

Recharge and seeing friends

Very pleasant short break. The house was delightful, clean, comfortable and warm . Loved the lounge and all the views I relished hearing the church bells in Fowey across the water.

We live in the countryside in England and decided that the seaside would provide a different experience for everyone. Our children who are now in their late twenties and early thirties still come with their friends and partners. We love sharing the cottage with our visitors some of whom have returned several times.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We first visited Polruan in the 1990s. Despite the fact that it poured with rain every day and that we had three small children and a dog with us, we loved every minute of that holiday. We were determined to buy a house nearby and when some years later an opportunity presented itself in Polruan we started to renovate September Cottage. We visit as often as our jobs permit and our children who are now grown up love to come to Cornwall as well. Our eldest son proposed to his girlfriend on the cliffs in Polruan so it has become a special place for all the family. We have received many visitors over the past few years who have sent glowing letters of recommendation about the cottage and its wonderful views over the Fowey estuary.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Wonderful views over the bay towards Fowey with the many boats which sail into the harbour. Views on all sides of the cottage. The unspoilt village of Polruan, near the attractions of a tourist centre like Fowey but lovely and peaceful to come home to after a day of sightseeing and walking. We have our parking space about 100 metres from the cottage.
