Stunning views from a perfect apartment for two

We had an amazing time at Niks apartment. Nik organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Nik was then waiting for us at the apartment. Nik was lovely and informed us of things to do/see in the area. Apartment is in a perfect location, close to a supermarket, cable car and the old town. I would highly recommend and would love to come back. The wine and fruit left in the apartment was a lovely extra touch. Can’t wait to go back!!

Excellent séjour, très bel appartement très ben situé

Nous avons été accueillis par Nik le propriétaire, qui a été très à l'écoute et de bon conseil concernant les possibilités de visites sur Dubrovnik et environ. L'appartement réservé à l'origine ayant eu un souci technique, Nik nous a logé dans le Duplex du dessus, entièrement rénové. Le logement est idéalement situé, plein sud (il y a un store sur le balcon pour se protéger du soleil l'après-midi, et pour les sensibles, une climatisation dans la pièce principale ainsi que dans la chambre) face à l’île de Lokrum, et à 10 minutes de la vielle ville, ou de la plage, ce qui permet d'être au calme après une bonne journée. Je recommande !

Fabulous view! Perfect for couples

Highly recommended. The apartment is clean, simple and just right for a couple. There is a supermarket within a 5 minute walk. The historic town center is about a 15 minute stroll along the coast. The ocean view from the balcony is far, wide and unobstructed. Beautiful. There is a maid service mid week during our stay. Nik has been very helpful with prepping instructions and sightseeing/restaurant recommendations. He also arranged for a personal airport pickup when we arrived. Since the apartment is up on a hill, there are quite a few stairs to climb up coming back from town. Nothing that the young and fit can’t tackle. But for us we usually walk down to town and either take Uber or bus 10 to come back uphill.

Perfect Apartment

Nik was a great host. He arranged a taxi to pick me up and take me to the airport. Driver was prompt and courteous. The apartment is in an ideal location just a 10 minute walk to old town. Apartment was clean and had everything you would need. Would choose this spot again when I am back in Dubrovnik.

Amazing views and wonderful hospitality!

Nik was a fabulous host. We met him at his property which was even better than described. We had an amazing view of Old Town Dubrovnik. The apartment was clean and Nik stayed to orient us to the apartment and Dubrovnik. We also had a wonderful bottle of wine to welcome us. We loved the walk and stair climb to the apartment but it may be too strenuous for some. We would highly recommend Nik's property! Thank you, Nik for a fabulous stay.

Ideal Apartment.

Nik the owner met us at the apartment and provided us with lots of info to help us enjoy our stay. The apartment is ideally suited as a base to explore Dubrovnik and nearby towns as well as neighboring Countries. We used the balcony mornings for breakfast and in the evening to soak in the incredible view and relax with a glass of local wine. The apartment ticks all the boxes for us. We had such a wonderful holiday.

Stunning View from Nik's apartment

View from this apartment was stunning as promised. We had nice glass of rose wine after hot summer day watching private yachts come and go. The view from the cable car is also impressive. The apartment was clean, renovated and the air conditioning was a relief. We visited Dubrovnik old town every evening for romantic dinners. The town is about was about 10min walk away (return journey uphill was good practise :-)). We took boat trips to islands and had great time by the clear sea. Nik was very friendly, waiting us at apartment and gave a lot of local information. I would certainly recommend apartment and Dubrovnik for two.

Lovely view

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The owner met us at the apartment and was very informative. The 130 steps access from the bottom road are a bit off putting but you do get used to it ! The one downside is that the pictures of the balcony are a bit out of date. There is now greenery above the balcony which effectively blocks out most of the sun. We probably wouldn't have booked it had we known this but it was still a great place to stay.

Lovely apartment

Nik had arranged collection from the airport and we met him at the apartment where he showed us around and also ran through some of the guides and recommendations of places to visit. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony. About a 15 minute walk from the old town. The apartment has a nice balcony with brilliant views, great for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.

Stunning

Wow wow wow. Me and my girlfriend stayed at the NIK VIEW APARTMENT for 7 days and loved every minute of it. NIK the owner was very professional from start to finish and even arranged a taxi to and from the apartment to the airport. The view from the apartment out to the island of lokrum and the old town are stunning. There is a local bar and supermarket 10 minutes walk from the top of the steps leading out of the apartment. I couldn't recommend this apartment enough it's fantastic I will definitely be back to Dubrovnik and I couldn't think of any where else I'd rather stay.

Divine Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a fabulous place to visit and Nik's apartment is ideally situated to explore the area. The apartment is clean, quite well appointed with stunning views as advertised. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town via a pleasant walk. The return journey includes a walk up 128 steps but gives excellent exercise after a good night out. We spent many happy hours sitting watching the ships come and go from the harbour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Nik was very accommodating and a great host.

Great time

Spent 10 days at Nics apartment, from the start things went well, the taxi driver he sent to meet us at the airport was prompt, very friendly and gave a lot of local information and ideas such as days out, restaurants, bars etc. Nic was waiting at apartment and gave a great welcome with full details of apartment and amenities. View was as expected stunning, we spent many an hour watching ships and private yachts come and go. Dubrovnik old town was about 10min walk but the return journey is more difficult due to number of steps involved to get back to the apartment. We found it better to get a taxi for a few£ back to road just above apartment and walk down. Great to spend a few evenings in old town, cable car is impressive and museum at top of cable car is also impressive and well worth the visit. We made good use of local buses to get around and had a number of days and evenings in Cavtat about 20 mins away by bus (£3), catch the water taxi back. Great fun! All in all a great holiday nice apartment, with some great additional perks which NIc will tell you about. Apartment is Not suitable for elderly , disabled or infirm. DUbrovnik is not great for young children but for couples, perfect

Fabulous Views

We stayed in Nik The Views Apartments for 11 days & the view is fabulous. The apartment is in a great location & is just a short stroll to the old town. The apartment is very clean & has everything you need including air con, washing machine, microwave, TV, kettle & fridge. The apartment is located roughly 2/3 way up a lot of steps (therefore 1/3 down if you use the top road access) but we didn't mind climbing the 128 steps up for a little exercise after the enjoyable eating & drinking establishments. We used the Grand Villa Argentina hotel as guests of Nik the owner of the apartment, which was an added bonus as the facilities were excellent. I would highly recommend the apartment as we thought it was a great facility in a great location & is really good value for money.

Views to die for

This apartment has a great location there are steps down to the road into the old city but it's difficult to avoid steps in Dubrovnik then it really is short walk in. The views from the balcony was all we could ask for with the city out on your right and the ocean to your left. The apartment is clean and quite spacious with a good sized bathroom. Good kitchen if you wanted to cater for yourselves but we just had breakfast which we had on the balcony. If you are looking for affordable accomodation with wonderful views close to the Old City this is for you.

Lives up to its name

Nik's Views it is called and what a way to start and finish the day on the balcony looking across the bay to Dubrovnik and Lokrum island! Spectacular! OK, to get the views you have to be able to climb 100+ steps at least once a day but it's worth it (also to get a silent night's sleep). To Old Town on foot in 10/15 minutes, passing supermarkets and big hotels, quite pleasant walk. Great to get away from crowds at end of the day. Apartment itself is modern, very clean, nice furnishings, all you'd need (kitchen for cooking, good bathroom). Medium-sized for Dubrovnik, but one of you is always on the balcony!

Apartment near Old City

Stayed for five nights. The apartment was spotless and ideally located. It was a ten minute pleasant walk into the Old City. There are a number of steps up to the apartment, but worth the absolutely beautiful view. Nik the owner was great, he could not do enough to help us. He works in the 5* Hotel across from the apartment and we were able to use the facilities of the Hotel which was an added bonus. We had a car and Nik advised us of some good places to visit up the coast which were beautiful. A car is not really necessary but we like to have a drive about when we visit new places. We had a lovely visit and would definitely recommend this apartment.

Amazing view!

We have just spent a perfectly lovely week in Dubrovnik, staying at 'Nik the View' Studio. The fantastic view was well worth all the steps! Nik was an excellent Host who met us on arrival and spent time explaining the 'workings' of the apartment. We spent a LOT of time on the balcony taking in the view and watching the little boats to-ing and fro-ing, and also the larger luxurious Vessels. Highly recommended and we shall be back!!

Great little apartment

We loved our stay here. The apartment had a great view of the old town, and everything we needed. It was a short walk to the centre of the old town and Nik was a great host, even providing us access to the beach and pool of the nearby Grande Villa Argentina.

Stay in Dubrovnik

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nik's apartment. Great location (although there were lots of steps), fantastic views. Clean and tidy. Had everything you needed for a really nice stay. Nik meet us on arrival and looked after us well.

Thank you very much,for the nice review,just to say that there are some steps/120/if you take them from downstairs,but if you come by car from the upper street it is downstairs/46 staps/to the apartment.

Great stay

This is our second time staying at the owner Nik's apartment. And it won't be our last either. You couldn't ask for anything more really except maybe fewer steps up to the apartment. Nik's place overlooks Lokrum Island and the Adriatic sea and you can see the old town of Dubrovnik just to the right- wonderfu! It's very well equipped,air conditioning,washing machine and small separate kitchen. It is less than a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik. Nik is always available to give advice and recommend things to do and see during your stay. We were allowed access to the 5 star Hotel Grand Villa Argentina's swimming area- pool, sunbeds and towels. A real bonus if you just want to relax. The Hotel itself is amazing and you can always find Nik there as he is the hotels reception manager. Highly recommend a stay at Niks. Sean

Great view from the balcony

We enjoyed our week in the spotlessly clean apartment and even had a maid clean mid week and change the bedding and towels. The apartment has a beautiful view from the balcony which although small is private and not overlooked. It's 15 mins into town but you do need to be fit enough for the 213 steps on the way back. We also had the bonus of the use of a local hotels access to the sea front which was much quieter than the public beach. Nik the owner was very helpful providing local details and arranging transport from the airport but doesn't make you feel pressurised . Great place to stop

In the early seventies as a successful graduate from the Hospitality College of Dubrovnik I began my career in the most prestigious hotel establishment, situated at the east side the Old Town overlooking the famous island of Lokrum and the Town harbour. As a graduate from the Dubrovnik Faculty of Tourist Economics, I was promoted to the reception Manager. For the past 20 years I have enjoyed this job which is ongoing. During your stay,if you wish,I could advise and answer any questions to make your holiday more pleasant and fulfilling. When you arrive on your request I can organise the transfer from the airport to the apartment. I wish you a pleasant stay, Nik.

The apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped all the utensils you could need with a balcony that has the most amazing views over the bay and to the old town. The balcony has a table and chairs and so we ate breakfast on it every day and enjoyed a drink on it in the evening to make the most of the views!

The apartment is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the old town, along the seafront, passing the city's beach and other hotels. There is also a supermarket only 5 minutes away on the upper main road which is handy.

Nik was very helpful when we arrived and gave us a map and some good restaurant recommendations, as well as letting us know where we could find him if we needed him (in the lovely hotel )he works in.

We had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik - it really is a beautiful place and this is the nicest part of the city to stay outside of the old town (In fact we preferred being able to admire the views of the Old town than be stuck staying within it!) The apartment was really good value and we have some lovely memories of the trip and will definitely be staying here again!
