Beautiful gem tucked in the mountain side!! This place was better than the pictures. Wonderfully maintained, met my high cleanliness standards. Everything a bigger family or group needs for an excellent trip to the Adirondacks.

We have stayed at this amazing property many times, and it always exceeds our expectation. It's well stocked, comfortable for a group, and Randy is very responsive and helpful. Amazing experience every time!

We had a great stay at this top notch property, which appears to have been designed with guests in mind. The kitchen was amply outfitted with all the tools, cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. a group requires, with a functional space for simultaneous meal prep and socializing. The house is situated to maximize the view of the ADK's "great range" from deck and interior common areas. As the ratings describe, the owner responded quickly to the few questions I had both before and during our stay. We will hopefully be able to return before too long.

Fantastic property with gorgeous views. We enjoyed a trip to Lake Placid, bought some furniture at Dartbrook and had a thoroughly peaceful vacation. Would definitely stay again, bringing more family. Great spot for a large family party.

This house is incredible. Third time I’ve stayed here and it’s perfectly located, great amenities (enough cleaning products and basic spices and coffee stuff to get started), and incredible view. Got to meet the owner this time and he couldn’t be nicer. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our extended family, spacious, comfortable, and well set up for everyone. Randall was an excellent host: very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The location worked well for us, about a 25 minute drive to Lake Placid and Whiteface, and the views from the home are absolutely amazing.

This house is absolutely beautiful. The view is incredible, the house very well appointed, and the location very convenient. We’ve stayed here at least three times now and always rave about how much we love this house. I come up with a group of girlfriends and one of us is very picky and even she didn’t complain about anything! I highly recommend this property, it’s a great deal for the price as well

Wonderful Stay!

We've stayed here many times and hope to do so again. Great place, terrific views, comfortable accommodations; also perfect if you have a dog (the beast can be kept on the enclosed wrap around porch plus great walks).

This was our 5th year staying at this property in November and it is an amazing experience each year! Perfect setting to relax but also a short drive into lake placid. Randy has been nothing but an amazing host over the years and I highly recommend this property. The house is perfect for friends, families , and kids! Can’t wait to stay next year already!

We had a wonderful stay! The view is spectacular! The kitchen was well equipped. (The only thing I really missed was a rubber spatula) It was the perfect spot to make many family memories! My only complaint is the amount of dog hair that must have come out from under the couch after opening and closing the sliding doors several times on a warm day. We made sure everything was clean before leaving. We would definitely come again!! Thank you!

Rubber spatula on my next list!! Very sorry about the dog hair. We are usually very careful with that and I will make a note with my cleaning team. The good news was you were able to open the door in March. Crazy weather we had for sure! Hope, overall you had a great time and will come back soon!

Absolutely stunning house in the mountains! We rented this for my wedding weekend and had our immediate families stay here and it was absolutely perfect! Had everything you could need and more! We feel so lucky to have stayed here! We are already talking about when we can come back! Best house in the mountains we have ever stayed at!!

Great Family Get Away

We had a family getaway for my family. Enjoyed the great views and the hikes from the house. Extremely quiet location and the house is amazing

You can't beat this place! Everything about the place was so perfect. We hiked hard every day, all day. Tons and tons of trailheads, summits and waterfalls within a 20 minute radius. The nearby towns are full of friendly people, not touristy and there's a gas station just down the mountain from the house. But if someone wants to indulge in tourist traps, Lake Placid isn't far at all. Come home after a hard day of hiking to grill and eat it on a deck with an absolutely stunning view of the High Peaks Wilderness. Usually a doe would come visit around this time. If you aren't up for grilling, the kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need to cook and eat. Then we'd kick it at the fire or in the hot tub. The layout of everything including the bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for two families of 9 people. You'll be really glad you booked this place!!!
