A perfect break with 2 young grandchildren.A great location, 10 minute walk to the beach and easy access to the tram link.Shopping was done online with Mercadona for ease, but is a twenty minute walk.We were going to hire a car but was not necessary as ease of public transport. The villa was clean and bright.Great facilities and the hosts were very approachable.Definitely use this property again.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the host and shown around the villa. The place was spotless, very spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Gorgeous outdoor space with plenty of room for all the family to enjoy. Location is great, close to local amenities, a quiet residential spot with easy access to a well connected local tram system.

We loved this house. We were pleasantly surprised as the photos didn’t do it justice.The bathrooms are really modern and everything was lovely, the aircon was great as were the showers and was the pool You could walk to an amazing beach which was so easy to swim in and the sand was lush We had a couple of nights out, one in Alicante where we visited the castle and one in Benidorm which was an eye opener The hosts were so friendly and helpful

Lovely villa with pool

A pretty garden surrounds this spacious villa. The outside terrace and kitchen area with big bbq are fantastic next to the pool. Everything we needed for a wonderful 3 generation family stay. Modern bathrooms and air con. The location is perfect for Muchavista beach (ice cream shop and great bakery just a few minutes walk from the door) and tram and bus links along the coast in both directions. Visit Alicante or head to El Campello town for an evening. We would happily return. Thank you

Beautiful Villa

The villa is finished to a high standard with lovely quality tiles throughout, a lovely kitchen, with washing machine and dishwasher and 2 modern bathrooms with great showers. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty wardrobe space. The pool was lovely and there is an eating, dinning and cooking area outside too. The villa is kitted out with everything you need and our stay was perfect. The area is really quiet and I think it’s a residential area.

Beautiful gardens, inside spacious and open planned, modern kitchen for cooking, and well needed air con! We came with 6 adults and 10 year old girl and it was perfect, a leisurely walk to the beach with a great beach bar ! Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday

This villa was perfekt for us. Everything was in great order according the villa. Close to bus, tram,beach and supermarket. You really don’t need a car for your holidays in this place. Thanks for a superb service from the property manager and this villa can be highly recommend. Øyvind

Spotless Property

Fantastic family house. Great pool. Everything immaculately clean. Great help and communication from the host. 3 minutes walk to beach and the tram spot. 4 stops to el campella that has loads restaurants and bars. Supermarket close by next to a cafe and very good local restaurant. You don't need a car on this trip..pool safe for kids with fence that locks. Would book again Superb.

Beautiful Villa with a great garden and pool

We travelled as a family with our 6 year old daughter. The Villa is huge and well furnished - a great kitchen and an outdoor kitchen with a grill (we did not use). All windows have an insect net and is secured. The 2 bathrooms are well designed and the Rainshowers are great. The Communication with the owner is easy and they are very helpful and friendly. The great beach is a slow 10 minutes walk from the villa and there is also the tramstation which can take you to Alicante in 20 minutes. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much.

Stay in El Campello

Lovely Villa. Extremely clean and had everything we needed for our family and friends. We had 2 small cars during our stay so getting about was easy but had the benefit of the tram system as well. There are 2 stations within walking distance on the beach front. There is a hill to climb back up though but not too bad even when it’s hot. The main town and restaurants are a short drive away or 1 stop on the tram. There is a small selection on the beach front but it’s worth going into the main town to supplement these. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. Would not hesitate to stay again if we decide to come back to the area.

Nice villa

The villa was very clean and the pool so warm. Everything you'd need is in the lovely kitchen. The bedding was poor though - very old and ill fitting. It drove me mad waking up to the constantly untucked fitted (supposedly) sheet ! The local shop is quite a walk away - as is the beach. I would definitely say a car is needed. The owner is really helpful and a call away.

A great villa in proximity to everything

This villa can offer a large pool with possibilities for diving and jumping. A central location with only a 7-minute walk to the beach. Proximity to restaurants, shops and the tram that takes you quickly to Alicante. Uber Eats also has a good selection of shops and restaurants that deliver within a short time. We have managed without a rental car for the 14 days we have been here. Communication with the owner was good both before and during the stay. The only downside is that there is only AC in the master bedroom. The others have ceiling fans and have to share AC with the living room and kitchen. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back.

Lovely Villa

Had a great stay, Jesus and Maite were very welcoming and easy to contact if we had any questions and happy to help. Jesus came every other day in the morning to keep the pool maintained. The internet was out for the 1st 2 days but they had an engineer out on the 2nd day and it was repaired pretty quickly. There were a few restaurants within walking distance, but we got a cab to El Campello most nights, which had a lovely strip along the beach with loads of restaurants and shops, only a 5 min drive, we walked there 1 day and took 35 mins. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay Jesus and Maite.

Absolutely amazing property - relaxing and quiet - BEST HOLIDAY EVE

Wow. This was the most wonderful holiday we have had with our 3 and 5 year old - just what we needed. I had seen the property when I was in Spain earlier in the year. The owners had been accommodating and so lovely. They had confirmed we could check in early as our flight landed in the morning but unfortunately we were late arriving (thank you Easyjet). Maite was there waiting. Showed us what we needed. It was pristine. Our five year old loved the toys (especially the ride on motorbike). It was so peaceful - unbelievable for Spain in August. The only noise was the cicadas. We may have heard someone once. Pool was clean (it was deep at one end) and cleaned free twice during our 2 weeks. They offered us a cleaner which we negotiated on the price. The international TV didn't work on arrival but Jesus replaced the TV within 24 hours. There were board games and a BBQ which we didn't use. The supermarket was a 5/10 min drive. The beach was a 10 min walk - we only went there once as the pool was just amazing. So warm even at 10am. A few restaurants and beach bars near by but the busier Campello beach was 10 minute drive (we didn't venture that fair). The tram is a five minute walk and we went to Alicante for 1 euro 45 c (20 euros in a cab back). Downside? There was no bath as per the pictures - BUT an amazing new shower room which our kids actually loved despite it being their first ever real shower. We cooked a lot (our choice as our kids don't like sitting still in a restaurant) - no kettle BUT an amazing Nespresso machine (am sure the owner would have bought a kettle if we had asked). Parking was great (a bit tight but ok for a standard car but you can park on the road right outside the house no issues). Remote control gate. So safe for kids - all lockable. And a cat came around (we named her Buddy) but we should probably should not have encouraged her but she was too cute. We were so sorry to leave.

Excellent villa Great Stay

Excellent Villa Great Stay ?We stayed at the villa for one week in September 2012. We have 2 year old triplets so we were naturally nervous about taking them abroad for the first time. Thankfully, the owner Jesus and his wife Matte were extremely helpful and even managed to provide us with 3 travel cost for our stay free of charge. The villa itself is a large well decorated detached property set in a nice quiet area of San Juan and it is literally 2 minutes by car to the beach or a 10 minute walk. The property is set behind a tree lined fence on all sides and access is gained by either a lockable front gate or security gates with a keyfob which the owner provides. This was of great use to us as we could drive straight into the grounds and close the gates again behind us before the children got out of the car. The villa has 3 good size bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin) all with wardrobes, a huge living room, 2 very nice large bathrooms with power showers and a kitchen with oven, microwave, cups, plates, glasses etc. The owner also has cable TV, a Large flat screen, DVD and CD player in the living room. Outside the property is a huge well maintained garden with Olive and fig trees and a beautiful swimming pool which is surrounded by a small picket fence with a lockable gate - which is a great relief if like us you have small children. Next to the pool is a large barbecue area with table, chairs, sink and even an outside gas oven for cooking along with a CD player and an outside toilet. The beach at San Juan is amazing as is the beach at El Campello. We would recommend renting a car to explore the area as the beautiful Altea and the ?interesting? Benidorm are about 20 minutes away. We would recommend the restaurants at the seafront in El Campello where we ate every evening. Both San Juan and El Campello are holiday destinations more for Spanish people on vacation from places like Madrid so there is only a small amount of English tourists. As such the seafood in El Campello (which has its own harbour) is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. A 3 course meal for adults and 3 children?s meals with beer and wine was approx. 60 euros which is excellent value. In the UK a similar meal would be around ?100 easy. Anyway we had a brilliant time at the villa, the owners are great and we were back for just 2 days before we booked again for next year (2013) but this time for 2 weeks.

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones increibles. La casa esta super bien equipada con la barbacoa, piscina, aire acondicionado, y demás utensilios para convivir durante una semana. Los anfitriones super amables y a nuestra entera disposicion en todo momento. Recomendable 100%.

Maison très spacieuse pour 7 personnes

Maison très agréable , très propre et parfaitement équipée. Accueil très chaleureux par la propriétaire. Bus à 2 minutes à pieds pour rejoindre et El campello centre ville et alicante , très pratique quand on a pas de véhicule. Livraison possible des courses en passant par le mercadonia. Nous conseillons la maison les yeux fermés !
