This is a great base camp for an adventure! This charming home has plenty of room to house all your family and friends together with all the amenities you'll need for a fun stay. A new custom kitchen was unveiled in 2023 with granite countertops, a wine fridge, a warming drawer, and a peninsula for entertaining. Our yard backs right up to your own beach on the bank of the Colorado River - enjoy a riverside Pergola with a picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill. We've just upgraded the outdoor kitchen on the deck adjacent to the orchard (36" flattop grill, BBQ grill and seating for 8). In addition, during the late summer months, canoes and kayaks are available for use (waiver required). 

You'll love the infinity-overlooking yard - play "rogue" lawn bocce ball, sit under the wisteria and enjoy a picnic, enjoy coffee or wine on the overlook, drop a line in the water or just stargaze.

We have just planted a 65 tree, peach orchard with four different types of peaches so (when in season) guests can harvest and take home a box of peaches.

We also believe that a short-term rental should be well-appointed. In addition to our fleet of 10 bicycles for your use, we also provide spices, oil, vinegar, coffee, creamer, shampoo, lotion, hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, double laundry, board games, high-speed Internet, Netflix and other streaming services in the home theater (complete with seating for 8 and a popcorn machine and surround sound!). You'll also find a fun surprise for you when you first enter. If this isn't enough...we need to talk! LOL...

The Palisade River House also gives you quick access to an abundance of Attractions and Events in Colorado's Wine and Peach Country - we are "ON" the Fruit and Wine Trail, just a few blocks from The Rim Trail, The Palisade Plunge, and moments away on bike or foot from the darling downtown Palisade.

The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but the Town of Palisade only recognizes the three upstairs bedrooms and the two upstairs bathrooms. We honor the Town's strict limit of 8-overnight guests.

The River House has neighbors on each side. Our guests must respect our neighbors privacy by remaining on our property, and respecting our quiet hours of 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. If you have a riverside campfire (WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE THIS) please have it dead out by 10 p.m. We do not allow large parties or events at the house.
