Lutz Cottage Apartment - Beaches/Busch Gardens/Disney/USF/Pets

Our Lutz Cottage Apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom and sleeps four in about one thousand square feet. It has a private entrance with a patio, grill and sitting area.

The Convention center and Downtown is 20 minutes (13 miles) away, Bush Gardens, Moffitt and USF are 6 - 7 miles away. One of Dr Beach's top beaches is 25 miles away in one direction, and you can reach Disney or the Space Coast within a short drive the other way. The airport is about 20 minutes down the veterans....

The cottage apartment has groceries and shopping close by in several directions. Dale Mabry highway with more shops than an Indian bazaar is only two miles East as is the Veterans Expressway. Three miles South West is I-275, a quick jump to Downtown, Busch Gardens, USF, the airport, St Pete and Clearwater.

Our Lutz Cottage Apartment has one king size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom.

When escaping the Florida heat, you can relax inside in the AC, and surf the web on our cottage WiFi, or watch Netflix movies on our 48 inch smart TV.

Out front, there is plenty of parking for your relatives on the driveway. Parking is the only aspect that the Lutz Cottage Apartment shares with the Lutz Cottage.....and there is ample.

The cottage apartment is fully equipped, so just bring your clothes and food. We supply paper towels, coffee filters, laundry detergent and more. We have laundry machines if you stay for a while or need to wash your soccer outfit..

If you are an exercise fanatic, there are very pleasant and quiet streets that are great for walking and if you are a glutton for punishment, jogging. There is a great five mile route that we routinely cycle here too.

For larger groups, we also have the Lutz Cottage, a large pool home next door with four bedrooms

Happy with the rental

The location was perfect to visit family. We also appreciated the comfort and quiet of the neighborhood and the ability to prepare our own food. We would stay again.

We very much liked this cottage. It was roomy and had everything me, my husband and 2 teens needed. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Owners extremely nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

Comfort in Lutz

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in a well appointed apartment perfect for one or two people. The owner is an excellent host and endeavors to ensure that the apartment is clean, well-stocked and comfortable.

Loved the place and the area!

My husband and I (and our dog) stayed at the Lutz Cottage Apartment for the month of April 2017. It is very nice, just as shown in the pictures. We had everything we needed and more. Jonathan is a great host! He left us lots of information about the surrounding area, hiking, restaurants, etc. We had a small plumbing leak and Jonathan had it taken care of right away. It's when you have a problem that you know how good the service will be! We loved the apartment, the area, and would definitely recommend any property Jonathan owns! If we need another extended stay in the area, this will be our first choice!

Tampa Cottage

Quiet and cozy

My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable month and a half stay at this location. It is quiet and peaceful with plenty to do nearby. Jonathan was great and extremely responsive. We ordered several packages from amazon and Jonathan made sure of taking care we received them. We would recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the Lutz area.

Great place for a long time rental!

We leave bed this cottage! It was a great space, and handled 3 men easily. Kitchen was complete with everything you would need! And, we loved that it had a grill! Nicely furnished, and linen were clean and fresh! I would rent it again if I was in the area!

Paradise

My family and I enjoyed the cottage. Felt so good to be away from the city life and around quietness. The cottage felt like home and everything in it to accommodate our stay. I definitely would recommend this vacation rental to anyone and would visit again.

Cottage Apartment fine; location pretty far out

The cottage is furnished well. Beds are comfortable; needs in the kitchen met fine. The internet was slow but Jonathan will planning to upgrade. The cable is basic at best-local stations and old reruns; no national news (ie CNN, CNBC, FOX etc), no sports (ESPN etc), no higher end cable stations (and I mean USA, hallmark, hgtv, etc). The place is close to a nice grocery store and access to the freeways is pretty easy. But there is no where to go without a significant car ride. Knowing that there is a nice pool area and we had no access was disappointing - I guess that is my fault for not realizing that a main house pool did not mean shared access. The deck is okay, but it is on a very busy street.

Overall, nice place

The apartment is decorated nicely. The king bed in the master is amazing. I would like to buy that same mattress. I wish there was a couch or recliner. I am short and the leather chair didn't fit me very well. However, the chairs were very good quality. The washer and dryer and TV were also nice quality. I wish the cable included CNN, FOX, MSNBC and ESPN, as we are news and sports junkies, however, it was nice to have Netflix available and we started a new series. The large patio is pleasant, comfortable and very private. We did not use the grill. Jonathan was readily available for questions and he gave good tips on walking paths, etc.

Our stay at Lutz Cottage Apartment

The pictures and description were as described. Close to where our family needed to be. We were only there a week, but the location was convenient to the coast and a lot of restaurants in the area. Thanks, Jonathan, for a great stay!

Terrific stay. Would stay there again!

The pictures and description were very accurate. Close to our family where we needed. Jonathan was very informative and available, but we didn't have any issues. The unit was clean, quiet, comfortable and private. He was even able to accommodate our later checkout--luckily for us there wasn't another occupant the same day we left. Thanks, Jonathan, for a great stay!

Nice Property, Great Location

We stayed in the In-Law Apartment and had close friends stay in the Main House. The property is really nice and clean. We arrived Thanksgiving day and stayed for 1 week after that. The Main House kitchen faucet needs some work. There is very little water pressure and it took a really long time for the water to get hot, which made doing dishes an inconvenience, so we brought dishes to the apartment kitchen and did most of them there! The dishwasher in the main house did not close securely and thus, we were unable to use that at all. We had a few issues with the Wi-Fi yet Jonathan was able to take care of that right away. The location of the property, as far as going places around Tampa was great! The only down side to the location, in my opinion, is that the main avenue the house is located on is a very busy street with many vehicles going by most of the day, some possibly going a bit too fast! The good thing is that we were in the back part of the house most of the time, so really, the only time the busy street was an issue was when we were leaving the property to go some place. The screened in Patio/Pool area is fantastic and was our main hang out area! My only comment on the swimming pool (from a mid-westerner point of view) is that since the pool is not heated at all, an investment into a solar pool cover might be a great idea to help guests enjoy the swimming pool year round! In summary; the property is great, it served our purpose very well and is a convenient location for traveling around Tampa and other near by areas!

When folks stay with us, I see a lot of dynamics that give me and them enormous satisfaction:

I have seen families getting to spend time with each other or to unite and welcome a newborn in to the world. I see graduations being celebrated with great joy. I watch families come together to grieve the loss of a loved one. I have folks visit to take the kids to Bush Gardens, or to attend a conference. Some of my guests are here working on special projects.

Through it all, I do enjoy helping them be comfortable with their families and seeing them enjoy our home and the surrounding area.
