Our Palmway House is part of Parrott Cove in the historic district of Lake Worth Beach, Florida. It's 2 blocks to the Municipal Golf Course on the Intercoastal Waterway and 7 blocks to Lake and Lucerne Aves. Just over the bridge is Lake Worth Beach and the world famous Palm Beach. Our Palmway House sleeps 4 adults comfortably with a Queen bed in each bedroom. Entrance from North Palmway brings our guests through exotic gardens to our front door. We strive to provide everything you'll need for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Great location and neighborhood

We stayed here for a quick visit to the area. Location & neighborhood are terrific. Walking distance to downtown Lake Worth and Lake Worth Golf Club. Comfortably house with nice yard.

Great Florida experience

This is a house that is historic Florida on the outside with modern amenities on the inside. Its located right in the middle of town with a short drive over the bridge to the beach as well as to historic downtown Lake Worth, restaurants etc. We enjoyed our stay!

Great well stocked home

Lynn and Jan were the best hosts. Their home was very clean, comfy and well stocked. The grounds were amazing for are family and dogs. We will definitely be returning!!

Perfect lake worth oasis

We had a fantastic time at Lyn & Jan’s property. It was the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. We walked and rode bikes everywhere, I even had a lovely run around the neighborhood. We played putt putt and spent a lot of time on the porch relaxing. So glad we chose this place, and we would absolutely return!

Definitely 5 Stars!!!

Loved everything about The Palmway House! Owner was there to greet us with cold beverage and instructions on everything we needed to know. We had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable, and was very clean. Kids loved the putting green and toys that were available for them. Outside felt very private and did indeed feel like a tropical paradise. Would definitely stay again.

Great location & space!

Lyn's hospitality was amazing! Our family of 5 had a great stay, even though it's a 2 bedroom the house does not feel small. Having the bikes (even kids bikes) was a huge plus for riding around the quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was very nice & well equipped (good knives, crockpot, cutting boards, gas range...etc) easy to cook in. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent if planning to be outside. Thanks again to Lyn & Jan for all you did to make our stay relaxing!

Cozy Stay Near the Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palmway House in Lake Worth. The home was comfortable and family friendly for our two kids. They loved running around in the garden out front and chasing the little lizards. We felt safe to let them roam with the gated garden and yard. The amenities were everything we could need. Lyn and Jan were more than accommodating and helped us get settled in and get everything set up for our two year old. We would defintely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Thanks again!

Relaxing hideaway

House was homey and in a quiet neighborhood. Privacy was a plus. Had character and bed on first floor was comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Only wish that couch was more comfortable. Although front yard provided much privacy, could use some TLC. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and our stay. We were so lucky to be able to bring our dog. Lyn was also a very welcoming host! Thank you for sharing your home.

Great find in Lake Worth Beach

First, the owners were great about communicating with us prior to check-in and during our stay. They are very nice people who even decorated the house for Christmas. Made being away home for Christmas a little more bearable. The house is an old Lake Worth Beach cottage that is well kept and modernized where appropriate, e.g., kitchen, bathroom. Nicely stocked - we were even able to make lasagna for Christmas dinner without a problem. In our opinion, Lake Worth Beach is better than Boynton, Lantana and other nearby beaches. Downtown is also a great little town with good restaurants, interesting people and smaller crowds than other nearby cities. Would definitely stay again.

Unique Palmway House

Our stay at Palmway house was indeed a pleasure. Lyn Miller was responsive and the grounds are very unique. The house has a lot of character and sits back off the street and is completely fenced, which provides more privacy. That made it great for my little dog who could be outside chasing lizards without having to worry about her. The house is in a good location, but be aware one of the bedrooms is upstairs, but both bathrooms are downstairs. This was not clear to us in the ad. The washer gave out while we were there and could not be repaired. But no worries, it was being replaced after we left. Being without the washer for a week and being unaware of the upstairs bedroom is the only reason I did not rate this a five star. But knowing what we know, I would definitely consider staying here again. The kitchen is nice and well stocked with the essentials. Beach chairs and beach towels were also available for our use. Thanks, Lyn, for opening your house to us.

Hi Sandra, We are very happy that you, Jackie, and little Molly enjoyed your stay at Our Palmway House. We feel terrible that you could not use the washer during your stay. We do not launder the linens on site, so we had no idea that it was not working. We always ask our guests to let us know when they find anything that needs repair so we can fix it before the next guests arrive. However, we have now replaced the old unit with a Bosch washer & dryer. The photos of our bedrooms are labeled First Floor Bedroom and 2nd Floor Bedroom, but clearly we should have specified their locations in our description. We have now updated our description so future guests are not caught unaware. We do apologize and thank you for bringing that to our attention. Rest assured we will make it up to you should you decide to stay with us again. Next time we hope to earn 5 stars! Lyn & Jan Miller

Lyn was the most welcoming & friendly host. The house is perfect for a small family, with a fenced front yard full of adventure with mini golf & a hammock. There are thoughtfully placed nostalgic decorations in the home, which brought back fun memories of a time when our phones didn't take up all of our energy. We took the bikes for a spin down to the intercostal pier at the Snook Islands nature area & Bryant park which was lovely. The Lake Worth pier is a short drive away. We enjoyed a slice of pizza at Mamma Mia's after walking down the pier. The water was beautiful! We also found a gem of a restaurant off N Dixie Hwy called Farmer Girl Restaurant with the best brunch. If interested in vintage consignment, the Trashe Vintage store was a lot of fun & close by. One more restaurant recommendation a bit north in West Palm Beach called French Grill House. It has outside seating with yummy french inspired food & fantastic staff. Publix & I-95 were both less than a mile away from the house. Wonderful property & location!

A quaint treasure

The house was just right for the three of us. Close to downtown and golf course. Always fun to bicycle the area. It is an old house with some quirks but it was clean and well equipped. Jan and Lyn are super nice and very accommodating. I look forward to staying there in the future.

Charming Parrot Cove cottage

We came over for a Mother's Day weekend to spend some quality time with our daughter who lives in Lake Worth Beach. The hosts were very easy to deal with and even had my daughter go over and preview the unit. She did warn us that the upstairs bedroom might not have enough cooling from the wall AC. The cottage itself was charming and looked like the pictures, however the garden, mini golf and outdoor seating areas were covered with' leaves and not very clean. The garden area could be a true oasis. We ate almost all of our meals outside and enjoyed morning coffee on the swing. The upstairs bedroom was too hot to use and there is no lighting on the very narrow stairwell. My husband slept on the very comfy sofa and I took the Queen bed (we can't do less than a King but we adjust). The house was well equipped with beach gear and towels. We own vacation rentals ourselves on the other coast and until recently managed about 125 homes. Kitchen cookware is always a difficult task to maintain. Otherwise it was well equipped. Its a great spot close to all the restaurants and shops. The house ninder had all the restaurant menues which was very handy.

Best BNB ever! You definitely get what you pay for AND MORE!

So first off this place is a dream I seriously want to come back and spend more time. The gardens you enter through are captivating. He had cute little signs welcoming us all over the gardens and home. He had treats for my God children. He had cold drinks, including a bottle of wine, for my husband and I. The beach extras were over the top and made going to the beach so easy we didn't buy a thing while we were here because this house had everything!. Beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, beach cart with big wheels that even held our ice chest and rolled over the sand like a dream. He was so sweet with my fur babies they really felt at home. He just asked we cover the couch if they like to get on it and had a blanket there for that purpose! He had a bunch of cool vintage stuff that worked. His badass record player including a range of records was one of my favorite surprises. The gold is small but the girls LOVED it and obviously it kept them busy while the adults hung out. One night we wanted to grill and my dad was like "do you think he has propane in the grill? Nevermind of course he does he has everything." My dad was even impressed and he always finds something to complain about. The bikes were so fun my dad and husband and I road them to the beach and had a fabulous morning then road them back. Super perfect biking distance for everyone and my husband biked 11 miles that morning by himself so the bikes are in great shape! I bought bad Oranges that weren't ripe yet so the skin was super thick. I told my husband I was going to go buy a little hand juicer and juice them so they didn't go to waste. Of course the house had one already so I didn't have to buy anything! We eveb found a fresh coconut! Such a great Flordia trip! Will come back and stay here again but next time LONGER!

Garden Escape

Happy to have found the Palmway House

We are on three weeks holiday in Florida from Finland and stayed our first week in the Palmway House. We liked it very much and are happy to have found and selected it among the big selection of different kind of housings. It was perfect for our needs, close to Lake Worth Golf Club, Down Town, beach.. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight but Lyn was waiting for us there and gave us perfect and useful introduction to the property and Lake Worth. House is very well equipped and we could not find anything which would be missing. There is even a small golf putting training course in front of the house. We can warmly recommend the Palmway House to all holiday makers in Lake Worth and are looking forward to coming back some day.

Quiet, clean, and colorful get away in the historic section of Lake Worth

I stayed at the Palmway House with my adult daughter and our friend. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated (to our taste). The two bathrooms were in excellent condition. If we'd wanted to stay inside for a week we would have had games, DVDs, and TV to entertain us. I loved the jungle garden. Lyn and Jan were very responsive when we needed something (ex. pump for the bikes). The sofa in the living room easily converts to a comfortable firm bed. Step back in time and enjoy this lovely get-away!

Paradise

This was the cutest little beach house I have ever stayed at.The house is nestle way back and very private. Amazing landscaping that includes all kind of vegetation, a small little pond and a mini putt putt .it has a great front porch ,accompanied with a patio table ,chairs,hammock and a grill really nice for entertaining.The house has bikes so if you want to go riding u can.the inside was perfect with so many cute touches everything u would need is in this home,but for me the best part about staying in this home were the attention to detail that the owners put into it ,The little sign welcoming you to your oasis,the robes layed out on the bed,the pictures that were printed off of us the guest,the bathrooms with all the essentials needed,I can go on and on ,but I highly recommend this wonderful home away from home.Thank you we will be back it was awesome.Grace and David Dellatto and our children
