Thanks for coming to stay Adam and thanks for your feedback. Woodlands is a very large building and we are aware that there are some small areas that need some cosmetic TLC and all of these will be addressed in January 2018 when we close for renovations.

Lovely Anglesey

The house was perfect for our needs. All of the rooms en suite, loads of room downstairs. Maybe the road noise was a bit disturbing at the front of the house. Ample parking. Great location.

Amazing house all ensuite rooms and so much space.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to beach. House was amazing five large en suite rooms. Massive kitchen and conservatory. Large garden and two lounges. It was just perfect for us all. Comms with the host was excellent and fast Highly recommended.

Family Xmas

Excellent property lovely bedrooms all en-suite ideal for a large group.Surprised by a very well equipped kitchen everything you would need.Lovely kitchen diner and conservatory all in one.Games room an added bonus.Property in ideal location for walking on the beach and shops wonderful holiday.

Wonderful holiday holiday home

We booked the holiday home for the family and my daughter's 8 month old baby. All the rooms were very comfortable and offered ample space. There is a lot of rooms on the ground floor to sit and relax and space for a quiet read if needed. Local facilities were excellent and we followed the recommendation to go to the Breeze Hill pub up the road for a nice meal. We also purchased fish and chips from the fish shop (also recommended) It is now called Finney's There is plenty to see and do and the beach is very easy to get to as well. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Checking out time

The house was lovely and my family had a great time. Apart from the check out time! We had to book an extra day in order to not have to rush on the morning of our departure. 9am is a bit tight to get all the family including a young baby up,showered ( trying to find a shower with pressure and hot water), dressed and breakfasted plus having to strip the beds as well!! We had a nice time but we will not be staying here again.

Minor moans

Location was great, it was fairly close (few minutes by car) to village amenities. Property was reasonably clean but could benefit from a bit more TLC. Having said that, we all had a wonderful time and the kitchen, conservatory, games room and family tv room were all spacious and well used by us. Only one bedroom had little problems i.e. smallish shower cubicle and the wardrobe was behind the entry door which meant the door had to be closed before you could open it. Overall it is a lovely house with lots of plus features Thank you to everyone involved in it.

Plenty of space

The property was a fantastic size for 13 of us and we all felt very comfortable, especially with all of the rooms having an ensuite. The house was clean and tidy with great facilities and cooking equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and especially the huge dining table and games room. Communication with the host was great and he answered all my queries promptly. Honestly can't fault anything from the weekend, we had a great time. We will be back! Thank you 😊

Pinchin famly holiday

Lovely house for a large get together. Everything was supplied that you could need. Tumble dryer would have been a help as young children wear lots of clothes. Garden was not so good, steps slippery with leaves, and gate broken. Needs a big tidy up. grass needed cutting. Kids loved the treehouse and woods. Entrance was lethal to get in and out off. Would go again as love Anglesey.

Beautiful Anglesey

Went far beyond our expectations! A fabulous property, none of us wanted to leave. A perfect house for a family trip, a room for everything. Bar, games room, biggest table ever!! Leading on to a relaxing conservatory. Location 5 star, everything 5 star, already discussing our next booking. Thank you we are hooked. See you next year.

A lovely base

Family weekend away. 9 adults and some of our dogs. The walking here is fabulous and beaches easily accessible. Beautiful spot. Lovely large table/well equipped kitchen snd seating for gatherings

Great weekend here to celebrate my dad's 70th. 6 bed 6 bath was ideal. House has plenty of room

Need time be careful coming out of back door steps are very uneven and there is a stair case to the right!! Had a great weekend!!

Big family home

The home was a bed & breakfast at some point. The rooms are numbered, and each room has a toilet & shower. The house is very old, and has a lot of personality. It worked out perfectly for our group. Just don't expect any level of luxury. The bedding was minimal. Zero towels, tea towels, or any washing up products were provided. We arrived to a very empty home, and we quickly went shopping for our essentials. The house is good for a large group, just don't expect a resort experience.

Great place for a large group

Plenty of equipment, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc and large dining table. We didn’t think we’d use the games room but we did. We arranged Waitrose delivery for 16.00-17.00 on arrival day. Make sure mobile is charged as they may just overshoot and ask for directions back (driver and I could see each other when I went to from end of driveway, so easy to do).

A spacious house in a good location

There was plenty of room for the 11 of us at the property. The kitchen and conservatory provided a good area where we could relax. Perhaps if the weather had been cooler we might have used the lounge. The children loved the garden with all it's paths and steps. Great for hide and seek. Also a grassed area for ball games. We had been warned about the entrance at the top of the hill and were prepared. Once we had worked out the best way of negotiating this it wasn't a problem. The local beautiful beach was a twenty minute cross country walk. The only negatives were the noise of the traffic and perhaps the need for some more ventilation in the games room.

Perfect Place for a Family Gathering

Our stay was lovely and the whole family enjoyed it. The accommodation is well equipped for a large group with plenty of rooms, space and things to keep us entertained. My only issue was the late check-in and early check-out requirement for an extra 'deep-clean'. I appreciate the need for this especially during current circumstances, however, the property had certainly not received a deep-clean - far from it! When we arrived on Friday (slightly early) there was no sign of the cleaners, and the property was tidy, but I wouldn't say it was clean to the standard I was expecting. We left by 9am on the Monday and left the property in a good clean condition and stripped beds/emptied bins etc. I'm not sure how much the cleaners will actually do following our stay. The garden was lovely and spacious, however, it wasn't entirely safe and secure and I wasn't happy to let my dog run free and was constantly watching the kids as there were plenty of areas which they could cause themselves injuries. Overall we did have a lovely stay and we're able to walk to local beaches/pubs/shops etc, it's just a little disappointing our stay was made shorter than needed, as the deep-clean didn't appear to happen.

In all communication with you we ask you to let us know if there any issues on arrival or throughout your stay so that we can immediately rectify issues to ensure you have a great stay, but we did not hear from you. Superb Holiday House close to the sandy beach.

A large Victorian house with plenty of space for adults and children. More than average parking. Well equipped accommodation and extremely clean and well maintained. Within walking distance of a beautiful beach. Superb!

Comfortable bedrooms, great downstairs rooms for different activities and age-groups, well-resourced kitchen with wide selection of crockery, utensils, cooking and serving dishes and pans suitable for a large group. Pleasant garden and good local shops and beaches.

We spotted a red squirrel in the garden.

Easy to book, good communication with owner. Lovely clean, fully equipped house with lovely views. The only small negative is garden is not secure to allow dogs off leads

Visit from USA to get together with family

This is the second time we have rented a house in North Wales as part of our UK vacation coming home to see family and friends and Woodlands did not disappoint at all. At first we felt that the house was perhaps not as open as before but the huge dining room and conservatory were great places to mingle, eat and play games. The bedrooms were all really nice and we comfortably accommodated up to 12 people over the course of the week. The children loved the garden and we walked to several beaches during our stay as well as venturing further afield. All the recommendations for local food, pubs and takeaways were accurate and we had some excellent meals. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need and having 2 fridge/freezers was perfect. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return at some point. There were absolutely no issues encountered over the week. We also had some amazing weather which was a huge bonus! Thank you Michael. The Bonner’s.

Walking Holiday

I can't really fault the holiday or property. Michael & Samantha were great to deal with & everything went smoothly. The house was great, clean with lots of room even for a group of 12. We spent a lot of time sitting in the lovely conservatory. The location was great for walking on the Island. (Llanddwyn Island & beach is a must) Only small negative was the Main Road outside the property which is positioned just over the brow of the hiĺl, but if you are careful & use the track down the side of the property, it is safe enough. Would definitely book again.
