Direct waterfront, wooded property/ year-round home! Come enjoy our fully-furnished 3BR home on beautiful Newfound Lake in central New Hampshire. 20 minutes to Laconia/Meredith and only 2 hours from Boston. Hang out between rides if you're up for bike week on the deck 15 feet from the water and enjoy a cold beverage or swim. Enjoy a fire on the water's edge and listen to the loons in a tranquil setting watching the sun set or take a kayak ride (kayak's provided) around Mayhew Island. Either way, you'll LOVE Newfound Lake.

My family's been vacationing on Newfound Lake for over 50 years and we were fortunate to buy our home in 2000. Since then we've cleaned and fixed it up and we now live here part-time throughout the year. Everything is in good working condition and well cared for. The ideal time to visit is during the warm summer months to best enjoy the lake as well as the areas incredibly beautiful roads.
I do a lot of bicycling and motorcycling in the area and have been attending BIke Week for 40+ years but this year we plan to visit our daughter in Scotland and so we're hoping to rent our home to a responsible family or group up to enjoy bike week. Newfound Lake is far enough away from Laconia to be relaxing and quiet but less than 1/2 hour to The Weirs with all the action. We have a number of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes and we're only 10 minutes from Interstate 93.

Newfound Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the US and, until recently it was considered one of the Top 10 cleanest in the world.You can still see 20 feet to the bottom of the lake on a sunny day, in part due to the springs and streams that feed the lake but also the sandy bottom acts as a filter.

We have one of only 2 (that we know of) rope swings on the lake. We're also located across from Mayhew Island which has a no wake zone between us and the island - no boats whipping past our shoreline creating damaging waves - making it very safe for young children to play in the water.
