Beautiful very large house set in the most beautiful valley with large garden surrounded by trees. The house is over 300 years old and has been refurbished to a high standard. It has a large attractive sitting room with traditional beams and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are 3 doors that open out to a very large terrace. There is a double garage and several outbuildings for storage. There is ample parking for 4 cars. All the family can enjoy the quiet country lanes for cycling.. There is fishing in the local rivers, which are very scenic for walking or kayaking. the south coast is within easy reach. The house sleeps 8 people so would be suitable for 2 families. There are 3 bathrooms. The house is made of old stone and the stone arched doors open out to the lovely garden. The town of Guemene-sur-Scorff is 10 minutes away.

Hello we are an Irish family and purchased the house in St. Vincent 13 years ago. Our family consists of 3 sons and 1 daughter. While the children were young they enjoyed their holidays here and speaking French. They have all grown up now and come here with their own friends. We have had many wonderful family holidays there over the past 13 years. Our extended family and friends have all spent time with us there. We have started to do summer gite rentals and hope that you enjoy staying in our peaceful haven in France.

We bought the house 13 years ago because we wanted to get the real feeling of living in France. This is a truly hidden gem and holidaying here will let you see the real hidden France. The property is situated in the Blavet Valley. The Blavet river flows through an exceptionally picturesque valley from Hennebont to Pontivy and offers a wide variety of activities and places to visit, yet it is only 20 to 30 minutes away from the beaches around Port Louis and Larmor Plage. With its mild climate this is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year.
The river is navigable to Pontivy where it joins the Nantes Brest canal, where relaxing boat trips or canoe hire for those that enjoy river activities.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
Guemene sur Scorff a 10 minute drive away, is an ancient and historic market town. It thrives on good music and art festivals and delightful well preserved buildings. There are also plenty of pretty towns and villages to explore with busy markets. The Coastline is only 20 to 30 minutes away and there are many sandy wonderful beaches and hidden coves. Close by at Priziac is the lovely lake and play area. Here the family can relax, swim, go boating, picnic, and there is lots for children to do and is set in wonderful countryside. It is brilliant for walking, cycling and boating. Uncongested roads mean you can gently explore the surrounding area and Brittany's historic towns and villages at a relaxing pace.
