Penthouse with amazing views in central area of Estepona, 3 minute walk to beach

Stunning 2 bedroom penthouse situated between Estepona's old town and the marina, in a quiet district yet moments away from the beach, the new pedestrianised boulevard, and all the amenities and attractions you could wish for.

South/southwest facing terrace with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and coastline, with the Rock of Gibraltar and Morocco to the west and Marbella to the east.

Comfortable modern furniture, quality beds and mattresses, fully equipped kitchen with oven, full bath with shower, centralised air-conditioning (hot/cold), double-glazing, 43" smart TV, DVD player and free fibre optic wifi. A secure underground parking space is included in the rental price and all towels & bed linen are provided.

The gated complex has a large saltwater swimming pool and paddle pool, with sun loungers available for your use. The pools generally open from Easter to October (weather and government restrictions permitting).

The beach promenade and new pedestrianised Boulevard are a few metres from the main entrance of the complex. The rear entrance opens onto a pedestrianised walkway with a park opposite. Restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, supermarkets and much more are all on your doorstep. A car is not necessary.

The property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between stays.

CHECK-OUT: By 12:00 midday.

This was our second stay. The apartment is exactly as described, very clean with fantastic views. It's well located in a quiet area with easy walking access to the promenade, marina and old town. The host was exceptionally accomodating and a pleasure to deal with.

Great stay, a lovely apartment, well kitted out, really good balcony with sea views. The location was great for us, just a 15-20 min stroll to the centre of the old town and about 10 minutes stroll to the marina. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. We would recommend and definitely stay here again.

A great stay

From the outset, the communication with Diana (owner) was excellent. She provided contact details for Esme who would be handing us the keys upon our arrival. Parking space in the basement of the property was an added bonus. Esme was a delight. A welcome pack of eggs, milk, butter, jam, water and orange juice was provided and a lovely gesture. Property was clean. Kitchen had limited workspace, but we were not planning in cooking a 3 course meal !. Air Conditioning and WIFI were both excellent. The only slight negative was that we could find no English speaking TV channels other than Sky News and CNN - Could have been us being useless, but we did spend ages channel hopping !- But it was not a make or break as we were not there to watch TV ! But could be an issue if there were any children staying. Netflix was available Plenty of wardrobe space in both bedroomsThe views from the property are stunning. A 3-4 minute walk down the hill takes you to the beach. Less than 10 minutes to the right, takes you to the Marina which has numerous bars and restaurants. 15 minutes in the other direction, takes you to the Old Town. Beach Bars are all along the 'promenade' towards the Old Town

Great location

Lovely small appartment in a great location, right opposite the sea, so views from the seventh floor were amazing. The place was very clean and has everything you need if you want to cater for yourselves. Really good location for either the beautifull port or the magical old town.

Wonderful Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Diana and Adolfo’s condo at Balcones del Mar. Conveniently located with quick access to downtown, the beaches and the port. We have stayed in another property of theirs a couple of times and so it was no surprise that they thought of everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The pool area is superb and clean with all day sun. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our two weeks in Estepona and will be back!

Excellent Penthouse Apartment

Everything about this apartment is fantastic and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location in great as it is just a short wal to the Marina and to the old town in the opposite direction.It has fantastic views, is impeccably maintained and Diana goes the extra mile in terms of providing everything needed for a comfortable stay e.g. a supply of washing powder and dishwasher tablets. Estepona itself is absolutely heavenly !

Nice welcome including some food essentials thrown in, Great views from the balcony. About a 7 minute walk to the marina and a 15 minute one to downtown. Unfortunately the pool area was closed due to regional water restrictions. Overall a nice place to stay

Magnifique view

The apartment is like the pictures. The view of Gibraltar is magnifique. Can’t find a place to get a better view. Estepona is a perfect location to travel around Costa del Sol. Many good restaurants around or in old Estepona.

Wonderful stay

Exceptionally clean and well equipped apartment with a breath taking view. The position was ideal - near the harbour and walking distance to the wonderful old town. On arrival we were met by Silvia who was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. She gave us a tour of the gardens and apartment. We had a fantastic week and felt sad to leave. Great Stay

We have just returned home from a lovely 4 weeks at this apartment. It's exactly as seen on the booking site. Loved the location, so easy to walk around Estepona. Fabulous views and comfortable furnishings. With a special mention for Silvia who rescued us when I locked my handbag in the apartment. Thankyou. We would happily return.

November break

Lovely apartment with views out to see. Flat was very clean, light, airy and comfortable although in places the communal areas would benefit from a re-fresh. Temperature was in the low 20's, so really nice for a few days away. There is construction work on the front (Nov 2022 and while not intrusive it does mean you cannot get down to the beach or to walk along the front without walking either to the port or into town.

Lovely

This is a lovely place to stay. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance including the beachfront. The view from the balcony is perfect. Any place where you can step outside and see the Rock of Gibraltar in the distance is great. (Do yourself a favour and visit Gibraltar. Fantastic day trip.) The flat is on the 7th floor, no one above, which is nice. It's clean and well-appointed, good heating system should you be traveling during the colder months as we were. That being said, the sun beams into the living room, wonderfully warm and inviting. Great place.

Simply Superb

From the moment of check in with Silvia who explained every detail we needed, to checkout after one week, we cannot recommend highly enough Balcones del Mar. Your every need is catered for. Appliances all in excellent order. The property was immaculate, the aircon VERY welcome. Then there's the location. Perfectly situated between the Marina and the Old Town. Not forgetting the amazing views from the balcony where you can see the Rock of Gibraltar, and even Africa on a clear day. I wouldn't think twice about coming back to the wonderful Estepona.

Beautiful apartment and pool.

We sold our apartment in Estepona in December after 16 years, and were a little apprehensive booking to come back as holidaymakers. We needn't have worried, Sylvia emailed her contact details before we arrived and met us at the entrance, showing us around the urbanisation and apartment, which was a really nice touch. The apartment is well maintained and the owner has thought of everything. It was clean, comfortable, and the views just amazing as you see from the photos. We were very impressed with the pool which is set in beautifully maintained gardens, this has to be one of the largest pools near the marina and has the added bonus of sunbeds too.

The television was old and had no HDMI, we were not able to use our Apple tv. We were supplied with 1 change of bedclothes, for 3 weeks in the heat, there should have been at least 2 extra changes.

I'm from London and made the move to the Costa del Sol many years ago with my Spanish husband. I love the culture, climate and relaxed Andalusian way of life. Estepona is a fishing village that has grown into one of the most popular and eco-friendly resorts on the Costa del Sol, yet it still manages to retain its authentic Spanish character.
Located at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja mountain, it has an iconic old town adorned with hundreds of colourful flowerpots, pedestrianised streets and boulevards, a fishing port with a marina, and miles of glorious sandy beaches and boardwalks. Local amenities include museums, orchidarium, theatre, street markets, plenty of shops, supermarkets, a wide range of tapas bars and restaurants, beach bars, plus many seasonal events, concerts and festivals.
Málaga & Gibraltar airports are under an hour's drive away. Sotogrande and Marbella are less than half an hour away by car. There are many wonderful places to visit for the day including Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda or the nearby Andalusian "White Villages". You can also take a day trip to Morocco.

The apartment occupies a privileged position on the top floor of a gated complex in a quiet, secure area overlooking Estepona town, beach and port, with all amenities close at hand. The views from the terrace are amazing! The nearest beach is a couple of minutes walk away and the fishing port and marina only 10 minutes on foot. The historic town centre is a 10 to 15 minute walk along the beautiful beach boulevard. You'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets...and much more, right on your doorstep. The apartment has a sunny balcony, lift access, free fibre optic Internet/wifi & an allocated underground parking space. All bed linen and towels are provided.
