The Coach House offers sole let of over 2,000 square feet of beautifully presented, spacious detached two bedroomed self catering holiday accommodation sleeps 4 (+1 infant) with exclusive private use of its own heated indoor Swimming Pool, located within the Coach House itself. Situated within the walled grounds of the Grade II Listed Georgian Rectory, in the Historic village of Pitchford, famous for the world's oldest Tree House and Grade 1 Listed Pitchford Hall, one of England's finest Elizabethan half timbered houses., just 6 miles South of the County town of Shrewsbury, surrounded by unspoilt Shropshire countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty and providing a perfect base to explore the County, walk in the Shropshire Hills or just relax and get away from it all.
Entrance Hall with Cloaks hanging and built in cupboards. Lockable door from the Entrance Hall gives access to Swimming Pool Room with private heated indoor Swimming Pool.
Downstairs Shower Room (serves second Bedroom) with Shower, w.c. and basin..

Open Plan Sitting Room with wall mounted Smart TV, two large comfortable armchairs, comfy large two seater sofa plus two seater sofa. Free Wifi is provided.
Open Plan Shaker style Kitchen with oak worktops, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, mini freezer & washer dryer. 6ft Victorian pine farmhouse table comfortably seats 6.
Master Bedroom Suite with king size bed, free standing roll top bath and en suite Family Shower Room with luxury walk-in drencher shower, basin and w.c. and walk through dressing/storage room with built in drawers.
Bedroom 2 with twin antique 3'6" brass beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

A lovely stay in the Shropshire countryside

We had a wonderful stay in Pitchford. The property had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed swimming in the very warm pool and even managed a game of tennis. Katherine provided a perfect handover and we’d love to visit again one day.

Autumn break

Fantastic property with all the facilities we needed for a very enjoyable week exploring the Shrophire hills and Welsh borders. The owners were very helpful with anything that was needed, and having the lovely pool was just amazing!

Everything we were looking for

We had a wonderful week at this property. The hosts were truly lovely and welcoming and the property was a joy to stay in. The pool was used everyday, often more than once! Plenty of places to visit (the follies were a favourite!) and lots of pubs nearby. We would stay again and thoroughly recommend.

A lovely week

Our kids 14 and 12 love have a swmming pool and this property's pool is a good size and the depth was just right for our kids.The house is well maintained and great for family living.The area is great with walks and activity centre nearby - we did axe throwing, zip wires and min assualt course and we also did white water rafting in Llangollen jsut over a mile away. We also played golf Arscott value with the kids which was good value.Lots of lovely pubs for food too.A wonderful stay.

The perfect getaway….

I don’t want to say too much about this wonderful property as I don’t want everyone knowing how perfect it is. The house is beautiful and the pool is just a bonus. Katherine and Andrew are lovely hosts. Can’t wait to come back for our third visit.

My family and I LOVED our stay in the Coach House! We all enjoyed the amazing pool, it was so much bigger than we had imagined! We had it completely to ourselves which was such a luxury. The pool was well big enough for the children to splash about and play, but also big enough for my husband and I to do lengths . The accommodation was beautiful too. Huge big, open plan living space and a massive master suite. The children slept really well in the twin room too. The whole place was spotlessly clean and Katherine was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us a helpful tour and loads of great suggestions for places to eat and drink, and fun things to do. The Coach House was only 15 mins drive to Shrewsbury (we’d recommend doing a prison tour and eating at Beefy Boys!). 45 mins to Ludlow (gorgeous market and castle) and 20 mins to Church Stretton where we walked with wild ponies. We would absolutely love to return to this beautiful place in the future and would highly recommend.

Amazing Stay

My husband and I visited the Coach House for a 3 night stay with my little girl. Communication ahead of our arrival was super quick and was the same throughout our stay. The accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. Location was beautiful and only a short drive into town with plenty to do. The pool was definitely our highlight! We used this multiple times everyday and it was a great size. Really lovely couple and really lovely place. We will be back!

Lovely, relaxing getaway

We had such a lovely time at the Coach House.The kitchen and living area were so spacious and bright, with lovely calming decor and beautiful views through the picturesque windows. The main bedroom, set on a slightly higher level, was truly amazing and all the beds were super comfy. Having the private pool downstairs which we could access at any time was definitely a bonus, as well as the use of the tennis court for which Katherine kindly lent us racquets and balls. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Coach House and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

wonderful stay in Shropshire

Our family had a wonderful week in Pitchford at the lovely coach house. The property was beautifully presented and exactly as descibed, and the heated indoor pool a big win for the teenagers. A big thank you to Andy and Katherine for their hospitality and help, including allowing me to charge my EV. The TV is a little old and only accepts Scart, for those who might want to stream Netflix or plug in other devices. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely quiet location

The coach house is a lovely building. The area is quiet and peaceful. The owners live next door and are really nice and helpful. The indoor swimming pool was the icing on the cake for us, especially given the current hot weather. And... who could forget Harry, the owner's horse! Easy journey into the fantastic Shropshire countryside and even in to Wales where the scenery is unbelievable!All in all we had a fantastic peaceful break, in a fantastic setting. Who needs European holidays when there are fantastic places like this?

Excellent all round

I booked a mid week stay at this coach house for a small family group. The house itself was immaculate, comfy, well equipped and had everything we needed. The host Katherine was very welcoming and showed us around but then left us to get on enjoying our stay. The highlight for us was the private pool which was beautifully warm. We went in every day and made the most of it. We did explore the local area and did lots of trips out so there was no shortage of things to do with children. We all said we would definitely go again as it offered us everything we were looking for. Thank you for a great break.

Fabulous house

We loved our stay at The Coach House, beautiful house, large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge and 2 large bedrooms. Very clean and had everything we needed, Katherine had even left us a couple of fans for the hot weather. The pool was a huge highlight, our son loved it and we were in there a couple of times a day, great that it was heated. Katherine and Andrew were very welcoming and helpful, lovely to meet them and Harry the horse who our little boy loved! We had a fantastic week exploring the area highlights were Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Attingham Park. We would definitely return! Thanks Katherine and Andrew for a wonderful stay!

Wow! A true MUST stay!

Just returned from a last minute few nights away and can honestly say, the property is just beautiful! From the views from all windows, to the decor and spacious layout, we loved it. Our girls were very excited to be introduced to Harry the horse by the owner Katherine, and loved spotting the ponies from the living room windows too. Everywhere was immaculate, and well stocked with everything you would need. The heated indoor pool was a major bonus too, and we spent a lot of time in there - great for tiring the kids out before bedtime! All in all, a fabulous property and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! 5*

Amazing place to stay.

This place really is amazing, We travelled as a family of 2 adults and a 1 year old. Everything was fantastic and we made some really good memories to last a lifetime. Katherine and Andrew are super friendly and made us feel at home straight away, the location is really great and off grid (no phone signal so make sure you connect to the wi-fi - or not if you want to enjoy the setting) The pool is exactly as described and located within the property so truly is a private experiance for you to enjoy when ever you want, if your up early or late! we really do hope to be back in the future and would have liked to explore the outside more as the grounds really did look really nice we just didn't have time to fully explore, Although we did meet the onsite horse which was a great experiance. overall 10/10 and would reccommend to anyone.
