Welcome to Galaxy Cottage, a lovingly restored stone home nestled in a peaceful hamlet near Loggos. Surrounded by olive groves and just 1 km from the beach, this traditional two-bedroom cottage offers a tranquil setting for couples, small families, or anyone looking to unwind and enjoy authentic island life.

Great little cottage

This is a lovely cottage with a great view. Helen was very friendly and always ready to help. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great accommodation, especially in the outdoor area!

It was a very nice stay overall with very friendly hosts. The location of the property is fabulous, very quiet, with a great garden and fantastic views over the island and out to sea. The stay in the outdoor area could not be better. Inside, you notice that the furnishings are a little ‘outdated’. There are also some deficits in quality and, above all, quantity, especially in the kitchen equipment. Another small drawback is that with 4 adults and 1 child, the space is quite cramped. None of these points of criticism are a problem and you can get along with them. If you need something extra, for example because you want to grill something on the barbecue and you don't have a larger pot, you can get it from the hosts next door. All in all, absolutely recommendable, but you shouldn't expect luxurious, modern facilities. We would definitely come back again.

Lovely traditional cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Galaxy cottage. It has lovely views from the terrace with plenty of garden space and seating areas. The cottage contained everything we needed and Helen, the property manager, couldn’t have been more helpful. We found a number of fantastic beaches and restaurants that were 25-45 minute walks.

Perfect situation to visit the island

We have spent a really good time in this villa. Helen was really kind to make our stay as well as possible. The villa is situated on a quite situation, easy to visit the island. I recommend to get a car or scooter to easily move from place to place.

Petite maison traditionnelle très bien placée. La vue est magnifique et les hôtes sont accueillants et très charmants. La maison est bien équipée et il ne manque rien. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Eleni.

Simple Traditional Greek Hideaway

This is a complete little house high up with lovely views over the island and sea (albeit some way back). The sunrises were beautiful. The cottage was well looked after and comfortable. It isn't luxury - more a reminder that you don't need a lot to really enjoy a holiday. Regardless it had all we needed including TV (which we never used). As expected the shower was a tight fit and the toilet had to be treated in the Greek way (paper in the bin, not flushed) but there was hot water, internet, cooking facilities and the usual kitchen supplies. The double bed is a 'cosy' size and although its only small stuff, the pillows are a little 'springy' - don't expect duckfeathers :) Perhaps a little surprising when we first arrived was the one room cottage up behind our cottage more or less in the backyard. We grew quite fond of George who lived there and could teach us all a lesson in mindfulness - every morning he would be sitting out watching the sunrise. He was very enthusiastic about telling us everything (in Greek ) about the island. There was lots of head nodding and not much understanding but we appreciated his efforts and did get some of the content. We were sorry to say goodbye to George after two weeks but it's important to know of this arrangement if you want complete privacy. Overall, we thought this was just what we needed to momentarily escape our busy lives - a simple cottage just out of Loggos (a nicer, less touristy part of the island), up on a hill with good views and easy access to the cafés and restaurant below. We hired a scooter and I would suggest a mode of transport is probably required in this location - it took us 30 minutes at a brisk walk to get to Loggos town. The scooter opened up the (small) island to us. It was a really enjoyable two weeks and we hope to hold on to the sunrises for as long as possible once we are back to every day life.

Great cottage in idyllic location

We had a lovely stay in Eleni's peaceful cottage. It's even nicer than the pictures, with plenty of space for the two of us. Everything is very clean and well looked after. The cottage has plenty of outdoor space for breakfast al fresco and barbeques in the evening, with a beautiful sea view. Eleni and her aunt were very kind and couldn't do enough for us, picking us up from the ferry port and even giving us a farewell gift - thank you so much! It's best to have a car if you stay here, but there are some beaches and restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying at Galaxy Cottage for a peaceful and relaxing holiday on beautiful Paxos.
