Time to get away and relax. Views of the lake from the living room. Our property is in a great location. Arrive through the gated entrance, pull into a private garage and unload everything onto the private elevator to get to every floor. The swimming pool is in the back of the building.

The property has 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds all with private bathrooms, 1 room with two twin beds and 1 guest room with full size pull out couch. Large living area for relaxing while enjoying a large Smart TV with surround sound, blu-ray DVD player. There are also 5 other Smart TVs in the each of the other rooms, for your enjoyment. You can bring any game systems as all of our media equipment is easy to use and is brand new.

Another living area where kids can draw and watch TV along with tons of toys for kids to play with. Ceiling Fans in every room.

Full Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, plenty of dishes/flatware and glassware (including beer and wine glasses). The Stainless steel major appliances include a cooktop range, double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, rice cooker, coffee pot, toaster, blender and lots of other utensils.... enough to cook for a whole family.

The beach house has granite counter tops in the kitchen and hardwoods throughout the main living areas. Bedrooms have soft carpeting. Bathrooms have ceramic tile floors and granite counter tops.
Laundry room has a new washer / dryer all-in-one unit.

The garage houses pool/ beach toys, chairs, and a few kidā€™s bikes. There is also an outdoor community grill.

Keyless entry doors to access the condo and garage provided for easy coming and going during your stay. Handicapped parking available and easy wheel chair accessibility.

Activities:

Enjoy all the amenities provided at Carolina Beach Lake (just across the street). The lake park provides 11 acres of a walking/bike trail, playground, free movies during the summer and a farmers market on Saturdays and town sponsored weekly events during the summer months. During the winter holiday months, the town displays thousands of lights for the Island of Lights celebration and parade.

A 5 minute stroll to the newly upgraded boardwalk! Enjoy many new restaurants, bars and classic dessert shops; Britt's donuts, Squigley's Ice Cream, Celtic Creamery, Island Ice, Fudgeboat, and etc. In addition, there are carnival rides, Ferris wheel and . Enjoy the weekly Thursday night fireworks display from the pool

Within a 9 minute drive: There is the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Fort Fisher Ferry, piers in both Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, Freeman Park on the north end of the island which allows 4X4 trucks to drive on, Masonboro Country Club, and the Battleship in Wilmington and the Tregembo zoo in Wilmington.

This is a great property for several family members and/ or friends. You can each have your own space/floor and then come together in the kitchen/dining/living area . Great location to boardwalk, Squigglys ice cream and the Park. Beach entrance right up the street. Owner was very responsive and helpful. The elevator was very helpful especially if there are older guests who canā€™t do the stairs. We had a lovely time.

Property and location are great. Having the AC set on 72 is not a good practice for vacationing. Was not comfortable especially during the day.

Great place and location

Space was awesome and super convenient to the boardwalk as well as the beach. The community pool was also great. Best part was the friendly neighbors that live there. They were all super inviting and friendly.

Wonderful Location!

We had a great family vacation in this spacious condo! Perfect location - you could park your car and walk to everything you need to go to! Beach, restaurants, shops, icecream, and the board walk! Can't beat the location - we will definitely return!

Carolina Beach Family Vacay 2023

This was our first family vacay with an infant, our first grandchild and it was really an ideal location. Everyone had their own floor to call their own. We could easily walk to the beach or the boardwalk. I highly recommend this to families or large groups!

Week in Carolina Beach

Great property in a great location. One small complaint: the electrical outlet in the 2nd floor bedroom is not working. Otherwise, it was a very nice rental. Great to have an elevator at a beach house where the kitchen is typically on the third level!!

Family get away

Great location we walked to dinner, boardwalk and beach. The listing said 5 bedrooms and 5 bath. Really it is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The 5th bedroom has no door and has 2 tiny beds for small children. Overall the place was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location

We had 2 families with 4 adults for this trip. This place is in the best location. Easy walk to the boardwalk but away from the crowds. The section of the beach was less crowded too. We enjoyed going to the ice cream shop a few nights which was across the street. The bedding and towels were soft with enough for each person. Each room was exactly as described. The room with the twin beds on the second floor was bright. It made it difficult for my adult son to sleep in. But we used the room dividers to help darken it some. Having 4 floors gave us a good workout if we didnā€™t want to use the elevator. The extra refrigerator in the garage was very helpful too. The only thing we missed was no real decks but that isnā€™t the owners, it is just how the building was designed. We used the pool each night after the beach which was nice. Overall would stay here again.

Excellent Choice

Perfect place for a large family. Very close to the beach so short walk. 2 bedrooms on all 3 floors, one of which is a childā€™s playroom combo bedroom. Pool close to unit as well. Many places to eat within walking distance as well as activities. Hopefully we will be able to rent again next year for our family beach vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Family vacation

Second time staying hear. Great sleeping arrangements, clean, kitchen has all needed items. Cons: outdoor grill is terrible, indoor temp was not what we would have preferred. Owner did decrease by 1 degree and that was not really enough- in fairness I didnā€™t ask again,elevator door wonā€™t stay closed on its own and you had to hold it shut so it wouldnā€™t come loose and stop. Overall- great place, space is what we needed, safe area. Only 2 desires would be working grill and cooler indoor temp.

Perfect for a group of moms and kids

we stayed here as a group of mom friends and our kids (age 3-10) and had a blast. everyone had their own rooms to retreat to and put kids to bed, while having the kitchen and living room to gather together. the layout made it easy to put kids to bed then all hang out together. Easy walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, and a nice lake to walk around. The beach was a very short walk with easy access and the pool/outdoor rinse shower we're perfect. The only thing we missed was not having a large balcony, everything else was great!! The garage is large, the fridge in the garage was perfect, access was easy, and the owner was very communicative. the house was clean and comfortable.

Location is great, the space is wonderful. Price was fair. Elevator a life saver! A few criticisms: Bar stools were odd and way too short for bar, so there was no sitting at bar...which was also very high. Kitchen had no crockpot and could stand more supplies. Doors to many bedrooms and bathrooms stuck, so were difficult to open quietly. Decorations were minimal. One twin bed mattress in each bedroom desperately needs replacing. Feet became dirty walking on hardwoods (so not sure they wer mopped), walls were dirty in kitchen, so new paint would help. Need to update info (paper rules were from 2018, no garage door opener or bag for linens), no dish towels for kitchen or hand towels for 1/2 bath, need trash can in garage, needs more storage for vacationers food stuff (I would suggest 2 large bakers rack in kitchen) . Den furniture a bit to minimal and uncomfortable. This place, because of location, pool and space has fantastic potential...just needs a little TLC. And as always, family time is priceless :-)

VRBO: I fully do not understand. Be more specific. If I was reviewing a store I would have to name the store and its location -- so to review a particular unit I must say which unit in which building -- otherwise the review is meaningless and could be construed to be any unit in any building in any city in any state in any country. Please explain better what you don't want mentioned. ----------------------------- Where could we pack ten relatives for a family reunion? It had to be near the beach as eight of the ten were land-locked Midwesterners looking to dip their toes in the ocean. And two of them cannot do stairs. Waterview in Carolina Beach met all the difficult requirements and then some. Our rental of unit 109 racked up rave reviews from all the mid-westerners on at least four levels: LOCATION - an extremely SHORT walk to the sand and surf using low-traffic streets. UNIQUENESS - all of us are well-acquainted with horizontal apartments/condos, so spending a week in a vertical layout was something very new, made so easy with an elevator built into the unit. The couple that cannot do stairs was especially grateful for that convenience. ATTENTIVENESS - we had a few questions that the owner responded to in very quick order. AMENITIES - The unit and Waterview facilities are well equipped, with security features for a carefree week. While no place is 100% perfect, this surely came close - and the families are asking when could we do it again.

DO NOT RENT THIS CONDO FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

The condo was advertised with a washer and dryer. We stayed the two weeks without a dryer. The "clean" towels had pubic hairs on them and the sheets were dirty as well. The elevator doors come open while you are riding in it which causes the elevator to shut down. I was shut in for about 10 minutes with no air condition. I thought I was going to pass out. The owner claims that we were responsible for the folding accordion door for opening and causing the shut down. The night before we left, I was in the elevator by my self standing in the middle of the elevator when the accordion door opened and the elevator shut down between the 3rd and 4th floor. The next day I had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs to get my car loaded up. It was quite a task for a 70 year old man, let alone someone younger. The electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work and some of the lights didn't either. When I called to get things straightened out, all the owner would talk about was all the taxes he had to pay and for how much he had to pay to have repair people come to the condo. To top it off, the HOA president told our grandkids, six of them from ages 5 to 9 to stop making noise because she was working from home. They were shooting a ball in a basket ball net which was provided by the HOA. It is not a kid friendly association. You would do well to avoid this place.

Perfect Location!

This property has it all. Walking distance to beautiful Carolina Beach, the boardwalk, tons of shops and restaurants. The house layout is unique with 4 stories and an elevator provides convenient access for those who can't navigate staircases. There were spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, along with common areas to enjoy family meals and games. Bedrooms included ceiling fans and TVs. Wifi was adequate. Wai was responsive and friendly whenever I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Not what we thought are vacation would be!

We have been going to Kure/Carolina Beach for over 10 years. Love this area! We have stayed in this complex before with a different renter but needed a larger rental so we found this listing. The unit was in a nice area, close to beach, park and boardwalk. A few things we had issues with The house being controlled by owner and WiFi Door lock was reset by day three and code did not work for use to get into the unit. Door on deck did not lock so we used this door to come and go. Garage door was opened and closed by a app on phone that did not work all the time. Air conditioner was controlled by owner! Lock boxes were on each floor and the air was set at 73! That is hot at the beach and uncomfortable to sleep. Linens were included but the towels were rags and mix matched. We are glad we brought our own! Lights were on timers and you were asked not to unplug or change. In one of the bathroom there were eight lights but only four light bulbs. Each room had light bulbs missing! Not sure if it was due to saving money? Since the house was controlled by the owner we did not feel comfortable. We felt like we were being watched. There were some other issues but they were normal when renting. When we did reach out to the owner about the air he did turn the top floor down to 71 degrees. Then we noticed it was changed again when we got up. I had to reach out again and ask for the air to be turned down. On the third day my brother in law asked for the owners number and text him about the air in all the floors. We did not pay all this money to be hot on our vacation. The air was controlled a little bit better after that. We would think twice about renting this unit again!

Summer fun with family

Weather was great. Location was perfect. Elevator broke down but it was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. We all needed the exercise on the stairs. The fourth floor was large enough for eating and playing games.

Great location; odd penny pinching.

Itā€™s a great location and perfect for an on the go vacation. The property owner was responsive to the questions/problems we had. However; one thing that was pretty odd was the remote control of the thermostat. It took a few complaints to get the thermostat on each floor lowered. The property manager eventually turned each floor to 76f - 74f which isnā€™t overly comfortable, especially while on vacation.

Lots of room, Pool was great, Location was excellent.

Family and I enjoyed our stay. Room enough for us all. Garage was nice to have. Able to leave beach items in garage. We liked the location. Short walk to beach. Short walk to attraction. Pool was great to come back after beach. Able to rinse off us and the beach items. We had a good time. Thanks

Wonderful space and location

Our family of 11 stayed at this property in August. It was spacious and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and made it easy for the family meals we prepared. The elevator is a great help in getting all the luggage up the 4 levels. The location is great... only steps to the public beach access and within walking distance of the boardwalk.. The owner Wai was very responsive to messages and request. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Beach 2021

We had a wonderful time! The location is great with close access to the beach, and the famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk. Also, walking distance to restaurants, and shops. It was a great vacation!
