The house for rent Olivia located in a small Dalmatian village Bast, will gladly host and shelter you from the city crowds and reunite with nature. Charming Dalmatian stone house with swimming pool has been fully restored and renovated in 2025. year, to provide maximum comfort and dissolve accumulated daily stress and tension for its temporary residents.
Holiday house located outside the hustle and bustle surrounded by many olive trees near the beautiful mountains and the park of nature Biokovo; but still near the supermarkets, fish market, caffes, bars and restaurants. Position and environment of the house is such that secures completely quiet holiday in the charms of a small town with a beautiful view of the sea and the sky lit up the stars, and also enjoy the nightlife in nearby Baska Voda and Makarska. The nearest sand and pebble beach is only 2 km away. If you prefer a nudist beach, they are at 3 km distance. Split International Airport is only approx. 75 km. Connection to the highway towards Split and Dubrovnik is on 10 minutes drive from home using the tunnel Sv. Ilija, so Olivia is an ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of Dalmatia and same time convenient for arrival and departure from and to home destination.
With breathtaking, panoramic views across the sea, the house offers accommodation for 8 people. It is characterized by comfortable and tastefully decorated interior. The house has a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms in the house have air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet. There is also a washing machine. The primary floor exits to large stone paved terrace with swimming pool, sun loungers, outdoor shower, pendulum lounger, wide view of the sea and mountains. There is also a barbecue fire place, two parking spaces, and the house is fully fenced for your complete privacy and peace; the detached house with breathtaking sea view and sunset.
Holiday house Olivia is beautiful, quiet and peaceful place for complete relaxation, as well as a good starting point from which you can explore the beauty of Dalmatia, Croatia and Herzegovina with the famous Christian pilgrimage Medjugorje. By staying in this place where time seems to stand still, in the peaceful Dalmatian village, chaos and bustle of everyday life will become a distant memory. Let your body and mind rejuvenate and rediscover peace and harmony.

Einfach Traumhaft!

Wir sind sehr nett von Marijo und Nera empfangen worden. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wunderschöner Blick vom Pool aus auf die Berge und das Meer. Einfach ein Traum. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Herzliche Gastgeber, äußerst saubere Anlage, hervorragende ruhige Lage. Toppaussicht auf das Biokovogebirge, die dalmatinische blaue Adria und die Insel Brać. Wir verbrachten zwei herrliche Wochen im Haus von Marijo und Nera und wurden mit Olivenöl der hauseigenen Plantage und Wein beschenkt. Wer mal Action braucht, der kann gern in 10 min Baska Voda erreichen! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere lieben Gastgeber. Petra&Frank aus Cottbus in Ostdeutschland !

Erholsam und ruhig

War ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Das Haus is ruhig gelegen und trotzdem Zentral gelegen. Bei der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Man lebt eigentlich im Freien am Pool, auf der Terrasse an der Außenküche.

Es war für uns ein absoluter fünf Sterne-Relax-Urlaub! 😃

Wir waren eine Woche mit 2 Kindern in diesem wunderschönen alten Haus. Es ist sehr sauber und hatte genug Platz für uns vier. Dazu liegt es vor einer wunderschönen Bergkulisse unterhalb vom kleinen Dorf Bast etwas abgeschieden, um völlig für sich allein zu sein. Der Blick von der Terrasse mit tollem Pool auf die Adria ist atemberaubend. Gefallen hat uns auch die gute Ausstattung des Hauses und vor allem die Outdoor Küche. Die Betreiber-Familie ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie geben dem Haus und dem Urlaub einen persönlichen Touch. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind kleine Örtchen mit tollen Stränden und auch guten Restaurants.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller, einsamer Lage. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Leider mussten wir Schwangerschaftsbedingt nach 2 Tagen abreisen. Der Aufenthalt bis dahin war aber sehr schön.

Ferienhaus im Naturpark Biokovo Gebirge

Wir haben im Holiday Home Olivia im September 2019, 14 Tage in einem sehr gemütlichem Ferienhaus unseren Urlaub verbracht. Von der Sonnenterrasse aus hat man einen einzigartigen Blick auf die Riviera und das beeindruckende Biokovo Gebirge. Bei einem Glas Wein auf der Terrasse, haben wir fast jeden Abend unbeschreiblich schöne Sonnenuntergänge genossen. Die Vermieter Marijo und Nera sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben mit zahlreichen Tipps Auskunft zu Ausflügen in die Umgebung, zu örtlichen Gegebenheiten und stehen zu jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber und in einer ruhige Lage gelegen. A really peacefull place. Wer die Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Und falls doch mehr Leben gewünscht wird, ist Baska Voda und Makarska in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Auch die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Zum Abschied haben wir noch eine kleine Regiontypische Aufmerksamkeit überreicht bekommen, die uns an einen tollen Aufenthalt erinnern wird. Vielen Dank Marijo und Nera für einen schönen Urlaub im Ferienaus Olivia.

Un petit havre de paix entre mer et montagne !

Petit cottage très agréable et très romantique avec vue superbe sur la mer et la montagne. Marijo est adorable et accueille ses hôtes avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Tout est présent pour passer un excellent séjour au calme et à proximité de Dubrovnik, Split et les îles aux alentours. A recommander pour une famille de 4 personnes.

Urlaub im Paradies

2 Wochen im Haus Olivia sind die absolute Erholung. Der Ausblick vom Pool ist noch ein wenig schöner als es die Fotos zeigen können und die Gartenanlage lädt mit Ihren vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen zum relaxen ein. Perfekt ist der natürliche Schatten durch den Wein und die Olivenbäume so dass man es auch bei hohen Temperaturen gut aushalten kann. Wir danke Marijo und Nera für einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in Ihrem wunderschönen Haus.

Besser geht nicht, einfach schön.

Beim Buchen waren wir etwas skeptisch, da wir noch nie ein Ferien-Haus online gebucht haben und machten uns an einem Sonntag im September von Berlin aus, auf den Weg. Einen Stopp legten wir in Zagreb und einen in Split ein. In Zagreb haben wir nur geschlafen in Split hatten wir ein Hotel-Zimmer direkt in der Altstadt gebucht, um den Abend bei einem Spaziergang ausklingen zu lassen. In Split hat es uns sehr gefallen. Am Dienstag kamen wir dann am Ferien-Haus Olivia an. Die Erwartungen waren hoch. Kurzer Kontakt mit unserem Vermieter von Baska Voda aus und 1h später trafen wir uns dann bei "OLIVIA". Es war genauso wie auf den Bildern, nur noch etwas schöner. Die Aussicht auf die Riviera und die Berge ist phantastisch. Die Ausstattung des Hauses und die Sauberkeit, befriedigen auch anspruchsvolle Urlauber. Der Pool mit seinen ca. 5mx3.5m ist sehr groß, auf den Bildern kommt er nicht so zur Geltung. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung von Mario verließ er uns und ließ uns mit seiner "Olivia" allein. Wir packten die Koffer aus und gingen erst mal einkaufen, 10 min Fahrzeit mit dem Auto. Als wir wieder kommen war die Sonne grad über der Riviera am unter-gehen und wir genossen dieses Spektakel von "Olivia's" Terrasse, einmalig. Wir werden diesen schönen Flecken nicht vergessen und kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke Marijo, das du uns "Olivia" überlassen hast.

Herrlich erholsamer Urlaub!

Das Haus lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Lage (praktisch keine Nachbarn) und der wunderschöne Meerblick von der großzügigen Terrasse mit dem schönen und sauberen Pool. Auch die Berge bieten ein beeindruckendes Panorama. Besonders am Abend genießt man wundervolle Stimmungen beim Sonnenuntergang und bei stimmungsvoller Außenbeleuchtung. Die Terrasse ist von einem schönen Olivenhain umgeben. Olivenbäume und Weinlaube spenden angenehmen Schatten auf der Terrasse. Auch der Parkplatz ist schattig, was ein nicht geringer Vorteil ist. Die Gastgeber Marijo und Nera waren reizend und haben uns mit Olivenöl aus eigenem Anbau und anderen guten Dingen verwöhnt. Im Haus ist alles modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ideal für einen Paarurlaub. Praktisch ist die zusätzliche "Summer Kitchen" mit einem zweiten Kühlschrank. Wir haben gerne und viel gekocht und das Essen auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!!

Fantastic!

We are a family with two small Kids and enjoyed the tiny clean house and outside area a lot. It is as wonderful as the pictures show. Fantastic view and pool, easy to arrive, off the trouble, a real hide-away. Well equipped with everything you need. Also a nice good restaurant in Bast 5 walking minutes away. Communication wen‘t very well and Marijo and Nera and her Family are lovely, supporting and caring hosts!!!! We got even a small present at the end! Thank you so much. Hope to come back again!!!

Wunderbare Erholung – ein Ort zum Chillen

Wir haben uns nach einer Schiffs- und Fahrradtour im September eine Woche Auszeit in der Villa Olivia gegönnt. Terrasse, Garten und Olivenhain sind ein wunderbarer Ort zum Chillen. Es ist ruhig und von den Nachbarn nicht einsehbar. Der Blick auf Meer, Inseln und in die andere Richtung auf die Berge ist einfach phantastisch. Das Haus ist klein. Das erste Schlafzimmer ist schön und hat ein Fenster zum Garten. Das zweite Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer sind eher klein und für längere Aufenthalte nicht so gemütlich. Für zwei Leute bei gutem Wetter ist das aber überhaupt kein Problem, da man dann doch den ganzen Tag auf der wunderbaren Terrasse verbringt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Restaurant im Ort ist zu Fuss zu erreichen, wenn man keine Lust hat selber zu kochen oder zu Grillen oder in die Nachbarorte zu fahren. Das Meer ist ca. 15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Es gibt einen sehr schönen langen und ruhigen Strandabschnitt zwischen Brela und Baska Nova. Dazu gibt es ein sehr reiches Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten am Wasser oder in den Bergen. Ein perfekter Ort zum Abschalten und zur Erholung.

Einfach PERFEKT zum Erholen

Wir haben eine überaus erholsame Woche zu viert (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) in dieser schönen Unterkunft verbracht und es hat uns an NICHTS gemangelt. Unsere Vermieterin Nera war überaus nett und hilfsbereit. DANKE auch nochmal an Nera für die leckere kulinarische "Grundausstattung" zur Begrüßung und das kleine Abschiedsgeschenk! Die Lage am Ortsrand im Olivenhain und die Aussicht, die genau so traumhaft ist, wie auf den "offiziellen" Bildern haben uns einen gechillten Urlaub beschert. Pool und Grundstück sind von außen kaum einsehbar :-) Eine Konoba (Restaurant) befindet sich in Fußentfernung im Ort, aber auch weitere sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen (empfehlenswert wg. der schönen Lage z.B. die Konoba "Panorama" im Nachbarort). Das Haus selbst ist in der Tat etwas eng, aber wir waren bei schönstem Wetter eh nur zum Schlafen drin. Neben dem Haus befindet sich ein schattiger Freisitz und dahinter die "Sommerküche" mit einem weiteren Kühlschrank, einer Spülmaschine und einem Kamin, in dem man einen portablen vorhandenen Gasgrill betreiben oder aber mit vorh. Holz auf die klassische Art grillen kann. Liegen, Handtücher in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. WLAN-Empfang und -Geschwindigkeit waren hervorragend. Fazit: zu 100% empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes Haus mit Traumblick auf das Meer

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem Haus im kleinen, ruhigen Ort Bast, etwas abseits vom Trubel an der Küste. Dennoch sind Strand und die Stadt Baska Voda in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung des Hauses lassen keine Wünsche offen, der Pool ist wunderbar und im August dringend notwendig! Besonders gut hat uns auch die Sommerküche gefalllen, in der gegrillt und gekocht werden kann. Der Außenbereich und das große Gelände bieten jede Menge sonnige und schattige Plätze zum Ausruhen und um wahlweise das Meer- oder Bergpanorama zu genießen. Unsere Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und unkompliziert. Insgesamt ein perfekter Rückzugsort an der im August völllig überlasteten Makarska-Riviera - gerne jederzeit wieder!

Toller Urlaub dank tollem Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich etwas abseit am Rande des kleinen Ortes Bast (ein Auto ist notwendig). Verkehrstechnisch bekommt man von der Schnellstraße zum Tunnel Richtung A1 wenig mit. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Die Lage inmitten des Olivenhains ist super. Um das Haus herum stehen viele Olivenbäume und Weinpflanzen. Der Pool ist toll, die Liegen und Stühle laden zum Verweilen im Schatten ein. Das Ferienhaus ist rustikal und einfach eingerichtet, es fehlt jedoch an nichts. Man merkt, dass die Inhaber und die Gäste mit der Zeit für Alles gesorgt haben. Die Sommerküche lädt zur eigenen Peka ein ;) Alles dafür ist da... Der Kontakt zu Nera und Marijo war schnell, nett und problemlos. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Peaceful, private hideaway with great views

A peaceful and private spot to unwind and relax, with amazing views across the sea and the changing skies! Space enough outside to spend the whole day without moving, but smaller inside than we imagined (while the double bedroom room is fine, the twin singles are a little cosy and really only suitable only for children). Since we hardly spent anytime indoors it didn't matter! Great access to the busy Dalmatian coast, from which House Olivia is the perfect tranquil hideaway for a couple! Many thanks to the kind owners, Marijo & Nera, who were very welcoming and attentive.

It was an awesome stay

Marjo and Neera were great hosts. WE fell in love with the property. It was exactly what we were looking for. The views were spectacular. The property provided privacy while being close to towns and activities. We will return again.

Lovely villa in a fabulous location

This villa has been immaculately updated and is the perfect peaceful retreat with the most fabulous views of both the sea and the mountains. It's just a short drive to the many beautiful coastal villages with a good selection of restaurants but is far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Nera, the owner, could not have been more helpful, both is correspondence in the run up to our stay and during the stay itself. I would strongly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy the beautiful Dalmatian coast.

WOW

What an absolute gem. Some people might be put off by the thought of having to drive for an hour from Split airport. Don't be. This place is worth it. To make myself understood, the House Olivia is not a slice of heaven, it is what is left over when the slice has been removed. Peace and tranquillity with stunning views are hard to come by and this place has it all in abundance. A great location within Croatia from which to explore the country around and a perfect place to lay back and relax, either in the pool or on a sun longer. I loved sitting outside for breakfast each morning and also at night, just looking up at the night sky with the benefit of reduced light pollution. I cannot think of enough superlatives to use for the House Olivia. I was totally surprised by the welcoming gifts on the table and in the fridge and was equally surprised by the little present handed to my wife when we left. It's the little touches that you remember and my wife and I would certainly look to return here one day. Many thanks to Marijo and Nera.

Great villa for a family of 4 with amazing views

Our stay was short but it was well worth it! We came by car from Dubrovnik using the excellent new A1 motorway (tolls to pay but worth the money). Marijo was waiting for us at our prearranged meet up and took us to the house. The house is clean and very well equipped, and with air conditioning units so quiet we could leave them on all night without being disturbed. Our stay coincided with a heatwave so they were needed! Our twin boys were in the swimming pool by 8am every morning and they adored it. The villa is not overlooked directly, and has olive groves stretching away into the distance in front, so we didn't feel we had to "keep them quiet". We enjoyed watching the swallows who came down to drink from the pool during the day, and the bats who drank at night. The perfume of lavender and rosemary in the hot air while you eat breakfast outside is heavenly. In summary: a beautiful house in a peaceful location which requires a car to access, and which we would go back to.

Charming retreat

We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing week here with our two children, having spent a busy week on one of the islands with a large family group it was just what we needed; a peaceful location in this very well equipped villa full of charm but with every facility required such as airconditioning and wifi, the attention to detail was wonderful. Our hosts Marijo and Nera were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. I would have no reservation recommending this beautiful villa with its dramatic backdrop and hope to return here in the near future.
