Casa Abuelo is located in the much sought after private road of Los Calamares in the heart of Playa Blanca village (5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, bars and beach).

We purchased the property as a holiday home for our young family in 2012 and it has undergone a sensitive extension and modernisation programme since then. The villa is finished to a high standard, with stone tiles, mosaics, beautiful kitchen, good quality appliances, powerful showers and handcrafted wooden doors and pergola made for us by a local craftsman.

The villa offers a spacious and luxurious self catering property just a few minutes walk from the main beaches and restaurants of Playa Blanca village; yet with all the benefits of being set in a peaceful, mature, residential development. The property offers four bedrooms (two en-suite), open-plan living/dining room and large modern kitchen with bi-fold doors to the garden.

The living area offers large flat-screen Samsung TV with internet TV system offering all British TV channels along with Sky channels (movies, sport, Atlantic etc), hundreds of Freeview channels and a large selection of box sets and movies on demand. There is free high-speed wifi available to guests throughout the villa (upgraded summer 2018).

All four bedrooms are air-conditioned (new system installed summer 2017) and have sliding doors opening out onto the surrounding garden and patio areas. Both the king and super-king mattresses in the main suites have been imported from the UK to ensure you sleep in the utmost comfort during your stay. The linen is all 100% cotton, as are the towels (pool towels also provided). Cots and highchairs can also be provided if required and there is a selection of children books and toys.

Externally, the property offers a beautiful and spacious pool complex comprising a free-form pool (depth range 1m-1.8m), jacuzzi spa and children's paddling pool (depth approx. 40-60cm). All three pools are linked by marble waterfalls and are solar heater with electrical backup heating (jacuzzi sometimes left unheated during colder winter months to keep main pool temperature as high as possible). A secure gate and low wall prevent young children from easily accessing the pool area and the garden's side gate can be bolted to ensure that children are free to play in the rear garden without any risk of being able to access the pools. There is also access to a large shared pool (unheated) a few minute's walk away as well as the communal tennis courts.
