A beautiful place to stay, surrounded by stunning olive groves and mountains. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we had the most wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to return. The only small suggestion would be to provide enough dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls for a week-long stay.

We were 6 people staying in the house - and we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was typical for the area and very cozy - Andalusian style. The kitchens were well equipped so it was easy to cook. We found everything in good shape and well maintained. The different terraces had nice views and they provided lots of space for privacy. The top terrace was great for dinner. Rachel and Kimberly were very helpful and they arranged some Spanish ladies to come and cook dinner one night. We can highly recommend this - it is a MUST.The house is located in a very small city so you need a car to go shopping in supermarkets.

The kitchen had all the amenities and well equipped and everything worked well. The top kitchen on the upper balcony was quite spectacular with great evening views.we could have used some more fish washer sachets. Three did not seem adequate for over a week stay for 4 people. The pool was great.

A Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay in this truly beautiful home. With little else planned for our stay other than time in the pool, eating, relaxing and playing some games with our young family this was the perfect accomodation for us. We couldn't have asked for more.

Wonderful Family Holiday

This is a beautiful traditional style home in the Andalusian hills. We had a perfect relaxing escape. It was the height of summer, but the numerous terraces afforded plenty os hade, and the saline pool much needed refreshment. It is also a great base to explore Granada (easy 1 hr drive). Kimberley, the housekeeper was excellent - always on hand to answer any queries!

Casita in the Countryside

The property is classic Spanish countryside. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the heart of Andalucia, you will enjoy the home. It is complete and provides ample opportunity for getting your maximum amount of steps in. The sunsets are the best part of the property. Seen from the upper deck, you cannot get a more beautiful sight.

Relaxing and Peaceful stay

This property was perfect for a getaway from a busy city. Set amongst the hills of southern Spain, the well designed property was spacious, clean, thoughtfully fitted with every thing you might need to cook and dine. Loved all the eating spaces, amazing pool, awesome artwork. Host was very impressive; organised everything very well and managed to sort some amazing spanish catering for a night by some local chefs - delicious. Recommend for some quality down time with family, creating memories I will cheerish. Many thanks.

Casa Hiraeth

Lovely house, spotlessly clean, 3 bathrooms. We had a minor problem which the manager and owners dealt with immediately and successfully, thank you. We really enjoyed our stay, I particularly loved the mid terrace early in the morning for coffee, the high terrace for dinner as the sun went down and pool to cool down. Thank you.

If you're looking for a wonderfully relaxing holiday in typical beautiful Andalusian countryside, then look no further. This is a gorgeous house with plenty of places to sit out. The top terrace also has a fantastic outdoor kitchen where you can while away the evening looking out at stunning sunsets and endless olive groves. There is a lovely bar within a minute's walk from the house which also does food, however it's not open every day so check opening hours. Larger supermarkets are about a 25 minute drive away so worth stocking up at the start of your trip as the small shop in Fuente del Conde is only open until 2pm and doesn't have a lot in it.

A comfortable house in a beautiful location.

We had a lovely week in the mountains at Casa Hiraeth. The house was beautifully furnished and really well equipped. The proper kitchen was a bonus for us as we love to cook. The terraces were fantastic as there was always the perfect spot for breakfast, sunsets, cocktails and eating etc. The pool was clean and well maintained and the ideal spot for cooling off. Iznajar and Archidona provided shops and restaurants but it is advisable to check ahead to make sure that they are open especially at the end of the season. Overall the perfect place for a relaxing break surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Inside Andalusia

We enjoyed our holiday in Casa Hiraeth from the first to the last day. The weather was perfect and the view of the Andalusian landscape so beautiful. The design of the house, the furnishing of the individual rooms, the beds, the kitchen, the pool, everything was perfect and clean. The interior of the house is extremely tasteful and well maintained. Particularly noteworthy are the many different seating areas on different levels in the outdoor area. We felt absolutely comfortable with our family and would want to come back at any time.

Relaxing and wonderful!!

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Hiraeth. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt completely at home, everything is there to make you stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the different patio areas - one for breakfast, one for lunch and then the amazing top terrace where you can sip cava and watch the sun go down - the view is magnificent!! The pool area is great for lazing around during the day, the sun loungers are very comfortable and the pool is lovely to swim in. I could go on and on - we highly recommend this villa for a relaxing family holiday in beautiful surroundings and total comfort! We would love to return! Julie McKenzie

Everything perfect

We, a german couple around 50 have spent wonderful 2,5 weeks in the very well equipped and lovely furnished and decorated Casa Hiraeth. Especially the outdoor Areas are fantastic and we enjoyed great views into the hilly Olive groves. Kimberley, the house Manager on site has been always very supportive in case of need and very quick in responding regarding any kind of questions. If you are looking for a calm and relaxed vacation without any "party People" this is the place to be. It is also a perfect starting Point for visiting Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga etc - all very worth visiting. We will definately return again. Petra & Boy

Outstanding views - beautiful house

Everything we needed and more, we ended up cooking most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped and the local supermarket adequate (plus a large shop helped). I even made a cake for my sons birthday! We had a couple of stormy nights and lit the log burner and watched movies. Cosy winter house and gorgeous in the sun too. Comfortable beds. I was able to work and the internet connection was good. Nothing to fault 😊

Secluded, peaceful.

Lovely property in the hills. Everything you need for a relaxing stay away from it all. Very clean. Lovely pool. Very well equipped. Lots of indoor and outdoor space including various outdoor sitting areas and lovely BBQ area. Large supermarket is about 25mins drive away. There isn't a lot close-by certainly not within walking distance. Although small local shop has essentials and fresh bread. If you want a peaceful hideaway then this property is perfect.

An magical place to stay, with incredible outdoor space

We spent a week at Casa Hireath during a really hot spell when temperatures were above 40 degrees every day so we really appreciated the fabulous outdoor areas. There was always somewhere shady to escape the extreme heat; in the lovely courtyard, by the pool or on one of the fabulous terraces. The house is furnished and equipped to a superb standard, which makes staying so relaxing. The lovely pool was a godsend. It is not huge, but is an ideal temperature and perfectly located in the coolest spot, surrounded by beautiful planting. The planting across the whole property, including bougainvillea, citrus trees, grape vines, scented geraniums, cypress trees, etc. is amazing and really makes the villa a magical place to stay. Inside the house is equipped with everything you could need and more for a perfect holiday.

Just back from 12 nights relaxing at Casa Hiraeth the house, gardens & pool are as described we spent our time sunbathing &!dipping into the pool the gardens are a beautiful view from the pool & sun loungers & the Bluetooth speaker fab for playing chilled tunes.. Evenings we spent on the top terrace enjoying the views across the mountains we had several BBQs which was super easy to use & having a fridge on the top terrace was great for keeping the beers cold. The middle terrace is fab for taking a break from the hot sun great views with grapes growing & comfortable seating. The house has everything you need for self catering & comfort. The local shop is great for fresh bread & supplies.. Casa Hiraeth is somewhere we would go back to & highly recommend

Wonderful house with great attention to detail

This house is wonderful for up to 6 adults . We were 2 in their 50’s and 4 early 20’s. It is beautifully furnished , with Rachael’s style throughout . We loved both of the terraces , the mid terrace is perfect for breakfast , lunch and an afternoon chill . The upper terrace is well equipped with a small kitchen and bbq , and another seating areas with outside sofas and a large dining table . Kimberly the local property support couldn’t have been more helpful , always at the end of WhatsApp and lots of suggestions locally . She also arranged for some Spanish ladies to cook Paella for us which was a treat . The area is stunning , with incredible sunsets , lots of restaurants recommended locally if a very high standard . My only caveat is if you have very little children , or elderly , the steps up to the terraces are quite steep and rugged . We would definitely return

In our listing it mentions the terraces being of different levels and the house rules stipulate young children aren't allowed, precisely because of the age of this old traditional cortijo and variety of levels throughout. It sounds like you made the most of the terraces, especially the top terrace with extensive views over the countryside and fabulous sunsets. Beautiful villa in idealic surroundings

The villa was everything we had hoped it would be. Rachael and Alun answered all our e-mails and queries immediately and gave us a very detailed and informative guide of how things work in the villa and where to visit and where to eat etc. We also got a phone call from Alun the week before our holiday to make sure we had no queries or anything. This was a lovely personal touch. During our stay we experienced temperatures of 48 to 50 degrees and we felt the villa would have benefited with air conditioning throughout and not just the bedrooms, however, this is probably unusual for those temperatures and the units may well have detracted from the lovely spanish feel of the property. The kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens we have had in a holiday home too but too hot to cook in it most evenings, we were frequent visitors to the local bar and Antonio was always welcoming. The villa was immaculate and the furnishings etc were second to none. We made good use of all the terraces and the pool was always a welcome sight on our return from our travels and the local lake at Iznajar. It was a lovely, relaxing and peaceful holiday. Just what we were looking for.

Tranquil oasis

We had a great stay at this beautiful and tastefully decorated casa. For couple of weeks we enjoyed the various indoor and outdoor areas in this charming house with our two children. Some days we just chose to stay in the house all day, enjoying the pool with its cooling water, while other days we used it as a base to visit other locations in the area such as Iznajar, Granada, Ronda and Seville. The house offers you this versatility because of its location and because it’s fully equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a tv with many English speaking channels and videos which was good for the kids. In the bedrooms there is an efficient AC which helped to cope with the extra hot nights. The showers in three bathrooms are great. There is a small shop 2 minutes walking distance with the very basic groceries but we found best to drive the 25min to the nearest supermarket. There is not much happening in the village but that’s what we needed, some peace and tranquility to get away from the hussle and bustle of living in a large city. The communication was top notch from the very start, both from Rachel and Kimberley, making us feel reassured. The few minor issues raised with them were dealt with promptly and efficiently which is a sign of great customer service. We highly recommend staying here.

Casa Hiraeth is a beauty!

To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary we stayed together with our 2 daughters and their partners in Casa Hiraeth in Fuente del Conde for 13 days. What a wonderful house!! We really loved all the terraces, on 3 different levels. In the morning we had breakfast and lounged on the middle terrace and the evenings we spent on the roof terrace. What a wonderful view and spectacular sunset. The house was very well equiped, beautifully decorated and clean and it really felt as home. We were so lucky with the weather, so we spent our days outdoors all the time, either enjoying the wonderful pool and terraces or we went for sightseeing. We visited Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga, Sevilla and Caminito del Rey. And of course Iznajár (approx. 15 min drive), which is a beautiful white village with plenty of restaurants. Our children also visited Marbella. All visits were very well to do in one day. When we were eating at home Casa Hiraeth we used the bbq on the top terrace. Everything worked fine!! The sunset is amazing! One of the evenings we asked Private Dining Iznajar, Kim and James, to cook for us. It was absolutely great!!! Kim is such a good chef!! Check their Facebook site. We had a great evening!!! We can highly recommend Casa Hiraeth, well located in the middle of Andalusia. Rachael and Alun are wonderful hosts and Claire, living in the neighbourhood could always be contacted if needed. Rachael and Alun thank you again for everything and the good contact we had.

What a great property! The house is very well equipped, has comfy furniture inside and out and the pool is superb! We loved all the outside areas and welcomed the shaded parts. The top terrace is brilliant and we used it every night as the sun went down before relaxing on the sofas and enjoying the moon, planets and stars. It was very nice to drive on the quiet roads and explore the surrounding area which isn't at all touristy.Thanks to Kimberley for ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible.An amazing, clean and well maintained property!

Great family holiday at a unique villa

We spent over a week at the Casa. The property is really comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of space. The different terraces are a fantastic feature of this property, and come into their own at different times of the day. The top terrace makes a great evening venue to watch the sunsets. The pool and its surrounds are very well done, and were frequently used (especially due the recent heatwave). Overall we enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning.
