Beautiful French Farmhouse with Private Heated Pool | Sleeps 8

Thank you so much, Emma. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome you and your family to La Grange. You were wonderfully friendly, communication was excellent throughout, and you left the house in immaculate condition. You would all be very warmly welcomed back at any time.

Thanks for lovely review. Welcome back anytime :)

Thanks, Harvey, you took great care of the house, which was appreciated. Welcome back anytime! Mike

Michael and his family were excellent guests. I would gladly welcome them back to stay in the future.

Thank you so much for your review. Glad that you had a good time :)

Hi Jo. Thanks for the glowing review. We're glad you had a great time. Apologies for the pool alarm firing at night. This was no doubt due to local wildlife interfering with the sensors. We're looking for a solution to this going forward. So appreciate the feedback.

So glad to hear you had such a great time at La Grange, Mark. It’s lovely knowing the house, pool, and garden worked so well for your family, and that the kids made the most of it right into the evenings. We’ve set things up with families in mind, so it’s great the space, comfy beds, and big dining areas made things easy and relaxed. And yes, that local bakery is dangerously good! Thanks again for the kind words. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

Our pleasure! Glad you had a great time.

Thanks so much for your awesome feedback. You would be welcome back anytime

Glad you had a wonderful time! Thanks for a lovely review.

Hi Steven. Thanks for your review. I am disappointed the experience at La Grange did not meet with your expectations.

However, I can confirm the issues you have raised - including the pool leak caused by a guest before your stay - have been dealt with. Important to clarify your “dirty” pool comment. Regular cleaning and chemical water checks confirm, otherwise. Our pool guy is fastidious in ensuring this is the case. I believe the “dirt” to which you refer is the discoloration of the liner around the water line, caused by a chemical reaction between salt, sun lotion, and leaves that inevitably land in the pool.

With regard to the slow leak, as you kindly offered to top up the pool yourself when required, we were under the impression it wasn’t an issue. If you had let me know, I would have arranged for the team to sort this out for you. I do regret not doing this in the first instance, and putting the onus on you, offered or otherwise.
Please accept my apologies for my lack of good judgment, here. Rest assured, if you had raised ANY of these issues including cleaning, bedding, or towels with me during your stay, they would have been sorted, immediately. It’s such a shame I was only made aware of this after you left.

Thanks so much for your wonderful review, Rebecca. We're glad you had a good stay. Taking your comments on board, we are taking the opportunity of the Winter break to update the pool area, ready for the 2025 season. So thank you very for that feedback. We look forward to welcoming you and your family in the future. Mike, Annie & Steve

We’re glad you had a lovely stay Kieren. Thanks for being respectful of our home.

Thank you so much Helen. We're pleased you had an enjoyed your stay and found the house comfortable. We replaced all the bedding this year, so I'm glad you found it of good quality. Look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

It's always a pleasure to host Alex and his family at La Grange, particularly as it is their third visit from Canada. I'm pleased the refinements we've made to the property in the last twelve have been well received. I'm also looking forward to visiting the sights that Alex discovered on his last trip. Those suggestions will definitely be added to the home manual for future visitors to enjoy. Until next time...

We are glad you enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the neighbour's gardener over-enthusiastically trimmed the hedge in the Spring, so by Autumn the re-growth will have restored the privacy of the garden. Thanks so much for the review and your feedback. Much appreciated.

You'll always be welcome at La Grange, Alison.

It’s always an absolute pleasure to have Alex and family to stay!

It was a delight to share our home with Mike and Sally. You are welcome to return to La Grange at any time. Best wishes to you both!

We look forward to welcoming you both again at La Grange

We look forward to seeing you at La Grange again soon, Colin
