GREAT HOME NEAR EVER THING. OLD TOWN 15MIN BIKE RIDE AWAY Ideal location in Scottsdale two miles from Old Town and a half block from the Hayden greenbelt, This home has 2000 sq. feet on one level with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a garage, swimming pool, outside wet bar with bar stools. and an outside grilling area and separates table seating for 6. It is within 5 miles of 4 public golf courses, new Scottsdale dog park, and spring training stadiums for the SF giants, (Scottsdale Stadium) and the Denver Rockies and AZ Diamondback (Salt River Fields). Old Town Scottsdale with shopping at the Fashion square mall, nightlife and dining facilities is but 2 miles away. Internet (provided) and complete Cox communication television selections (at your cost). All TVs are "smart TV". One block away are 20 miles of hiking/walking paths. There are 4 bicycles: 2 geared and two non geared beach cruisers. Summer renters are required to stay at least 2 months. Multiple rental months are preferred. In past summers guests have stayed here while relocating and looking for more permanent situations: It is ideal because of its central location.
Summer renters are required to stay at least 1 month. And a private pool to help cool you and your family. Winter rental is for only 30/31 days(WE LOVE IT TOO).More information such as contact information and photos are on Zillow at 5744 North 79th street, Scottsdale. Excellent home, location, great backyard oasis!

Highly recommend if you are lucky enough to rent here. Owners are great to work with. It was perfect for our family while looking for a new home.

Cons about this property

There was no air-conditioning in one of the rooms and living room. The first time I called him he said the air conditioning was brand new, and then called him a second time and he said it was just weird. Therefore he never sent anyone to fix it or checked up about the ac (was there for 40 days without ac). Also, in one the restrooms there was no curtains, so if someone was outside they would be able to see you. I don't recommend this home.

Wonderful, peaceful, joyful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pool was very refreshing and allowed us to endure those 116 degree days. The home had everything we needed, even band aids for my boys! Thank you John, you're a wonderful host!

EXCELLENT Home during our Relocation

WOW... Pictures did not do this place justice! We needed a place to stay for 6 weeks after we sold our home in CA and before We could move in to our new one in Scottsdale. This place is a gem!!! Kitchen was stocked well beyond anywhere I've stayed with VRBO. All furniture was very comfortable. The owner John was very helpful and responsive. The location was perfectly central to everything and morning walks through the HUGE park across Hayden were delightful. I would not hesitate one bit to recommend this home.

Exceeded All My Expectations!

Great location in south Scottsdale with mature landscaping near bike/walking path! Beautiful property, inpecably maintained, pictures don't do it justice. Roomy, beautifully appointed, with new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, pool area has everything you could want, including awning to provide shade in the heat of the day. Lots to do in the immediate area, good variety of restaurants, short distance to downtown Scottsdale for entertainment. Too good to pass up!

Very comfortable with everything you need!!!

The beauty of the pool and courtyard every morning was great!! Every amenity was in top shape. The place was well stocked. This location is close to many attractions, restaurant, casinos, etc. The neighborhood is very quiet and comfortable. The landlords were very gracious hosts.

Perfect AZ getaway location

This home is easily one of the best our family has ever stayed in. Great location, spotlessly clean and maintained, our family of 5 (2 couples, 1 single) had everything we needed. The owners support a "use one leave one" policy so that guests who purchase an item, such as salad dressing, leave it for the next person, who might purchase and leave flour. Thus there are plenty of spices and condiments, as well as the assorted soda, bottled water, beer and leftover liquors. The outdoor grill worked perfectly, and there is plenty of seating for eating and enjoying the pool. Nice neighborhood with a park nearby where we could walk/run and bike (4 bikes provided). John was great about staying in touch to ensure we had everything we needed. Note that the bathroom in the master bedroom has no door on the toilet, nor does it have a traditional shower, just an extendable shower head in the nice Jacuzzi tub. Since the other bathrooms aren't en suite but are located across the halls, this didn't present a major problem as they can be shared. Nice touches are included, such as sunburn spray, and there are plenty of extra paper products should they be needed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful vacation property

My husband and I came to Arizona for spring training with two other couples and stayed here. It was beautiful, clean, classy décor, and comfortable. The outside pool area was great with an in ground heated pool and a bar area. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. We would definitely come back. Gorgeous home. The owner has great pride in providing a comfortable vacation experience.

Wonderful Scottsdale Home

My family and I had such a great time staying at this house. It was exactly what we were looking for and in such a great location. It had everything we needed, too. The best part is the beautifully maintained backyard full of lots of desert plants and the great heated pool. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone! We had a party of seven, including my three year old. She happily slept on the twin bed tucked inside a futon. So that was a nice addition to one of the bedrooms! Thank you for having us!

Nice and quiet

Very nice home with pool close to old Town Scottsdale. The only reason this was not rated higher is the Master bedroom. Very funky bathroom.. no shower or door for toliet area! Otherwise, great home for vacation!

Great place to stay

Really loved our stay here. There were six of us and there was plenty of room. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was updated and there is also a wet bar area right off the kitchen. One of our family used a couple of the bikes that are provided. The outdoor area and bedrooms are not huge but really were big enough for us. The pool was nice and the temperature was almost like bath water. Nice. John is very easy to work with. All in all a great place to stay and hopefully we can get back there to stay again.

Wonderful Vacation Home For Relaxing and Exploring!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this vacation home. It was so comfortable and inviting. John has done a beautiful job of making this a true home away from home. It was great to have the heated pool in January as well as the bicycles to explore. The walking and biking paths around the home are fantastic. Old Town Scottsdale, golfing, the zoo and shopping, shopping, shopping are so accessible. John was an A++ host!!

Perfect Family Home

The house was exactly as described, John was a wonderful host, he kept us informed of everything we needed to do. The house was beautiful, clean and quiet. The pool was heated and a great place to hang out on the warm fall days. I hope to stay at their beautiful home again. My only suggestion would be to have a book of instructions for the lights, awning, etc. We did figure it out but there were many switches would could not figure out. Thank you for the great vacation home.

Great house great location

I am was in Az on business so my wife joined me. The. Central location in Scottsdale to old town and shopping mall was perfect. Added to that the privacy and ability to relax was just great! Couldn't have asked for more! Not to mention ease in going to scenic places like Sadona and Grand Canyon! As a host John was the best. Responsive and very helpful!

Perfect house for a family of 5!

We came to Phoenix to celebrate my Grandmother's 95th birthday. Initially we were going to stay at Talking Stick but we found this gem with 4 times the space for about the same cost. The home is well kept and perfect for entertaining. The pool does not have a fence but the owners were kind enough to make sure all our kiddos were swimmers before allowing us to book the home. Everything you need is provided in the kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. We were unable to locate the beach towels but I didn't even bother the owners with that detail as my brother lives right around the corner and brought some over for us. There are 3 large grocery stores within a mile of the house and there are more places to eat out/drink than you could need even if you stayed for a month. The owner communicated quickly with us from beginning to end. There wasn't an email or text I sent that wasn't addressed almost immediately. We have stayed at a few rented homes but this was the easiest. Easy entry and lock up, minimal clean-up, not a ton of rules about food, they are dog friendly...everything was great. Few notes to travelers, 1) there is no shower (but there is a whirlpool tub!) or door to the bathroom in the master bedroom. Some couples may have no issue with that but we found ourselves sharing the hall bathroom with our teenager as opposed using the master. 2) None of the rooms have room darkening blinds. 5:30 was BRIGHT! :). 3) There are a ton of plants surrounding the pool. Makes for a serene environment however, all our kids took on the yucca plants but I think the plants won. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!

very nice place

The house was very well maintained, spacious, comfortable. John was in contact with me several times before we arrived. Everything was in order and we had no problems during our stay. The house was very close to the all the sites that we were in town to see and easy to find. I would recommend this house to anyone and if we are in Scottsdale again I would definitely stay here again. Anthony

Great location, great amenities, comfortable lodging

This truly had the feel of my own personal vacation home. With three bedrooms (and a pull out couch) and three baths, we comfortably slept 4 separate people in their own beds. Everything we needed was at our fingertips: making meals in a stocked kitchen (utensils, pots and pans, etc), relaxing outside (pull area with bar and bbq) or in the living room (ample seating, internet, television). This was a perfect spring training/golf location. Aside from driving to play golf (10 minutes away) we exclusively used uber. Rides to Old Town were $5 and a full size uber to Scottsdale Stadium was $10 to $15. Quiet neighborhood and very relaxing property! Owners were very friendly and willing to work out arrival and departure times.

Fun in Phoenix

Our stay was very enjoyable, the house is in superb condition, well maintained with all amenities and comforts as described. The house has a good layout with all rooms being very comfortable. It's conveniently located, about 15 minutes to the airport and minutes to main highways and shopping. The owner is quick to reply to any questions.

Quiet and relaxing location

This property was perfect for our family vacation in Scottsdale. The home (duplex) was very clean and well maintained and with three bedrooms and three bathrooms plenty of personal space for all. The furnishings were newer and the neighborhood was very quiet, with direct access onto a greenbelt for walking, running, biking, etc. The host, John, was great to deal with, highly responsive and more than willing to offer assistance to make our trip enjoyable. The only thing that would have made our trip more enjoyable would have been if the pool was heated, as even in 85 degree weather it was a bit uncomfortable to swim in, but I know it is common to not have heated pools in Arizona. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing stay, and it was in a great location too, close to a lot of stores, restaurants, malls, shops, Old Town Scottsdale, etc. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
