Fully refurbished and renovated traditional style villa on the popular Likya Estate development within minutes walk of the Village Centre. Sleeps up to 8. The villa is situated in a private estate set in beautifully maintained gardens full of mature exotic plants. No need for car hire as restaurants and beach club all a short walk away. Shops are very close on the Kalamar road. Fully air conditioned through out with supplementary ceiling fans for comfort. The pool terrace, front terrace, maturing gardens and roof terrace provide ample space for eating and entertaining. A particular feature of this villa is the heated pool(heating is an optional extra charge) allowing swimming all season. The pool also has a jet stream which allows fitness training or just fun for children of all ages. The pool is illuminated at night. The Villa boasts a stunning roof terrace with spectacular views of the harbour, Kalkan Bay and the Taurus mountains. The roof terrace is equipped with sofas and chairs, sun beds, bean cushions and new this year an additional shaded dining area and roof top kitchen. The awning is automatically activated by high temperatures has been fitted to allow use of this stunning space all day long. This new addition makes it perfect for intergenerational sharing Adults downstairs and the young upstairs or vice versa. Villa Amelia is tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard including flat screen TV, smart box for streaming your chosen channels, internet, water cooler. A very well situated Villa. The Villa is managed locally by a very efficient team. There will be a welcome pack on your arrival. All linen is provided at the villa. The pool is cleaned daily and the gardens are also watered daily. If visitors require the use of a larger pool they may use the Lykia Estates large communal pool and bar for a small weekly fee.

Our stay at Villa Amelia.

This Villa is beautifully appointed with a lovely view of Kalkan Bay and in a perfect position for wandering into and back from town. We have been to Kalkan four times now and, I have to say, this villa was the best of all for us in terms of location, style and comfort. The Meynell family

Fantastic

The property was spotless upon entry and provided all the amenities we wished for. Walking distance to Kalcan which is important and communication with owner was perfect. They also provide a bespoke app which told us about the property as well as the area. Fantastic stay and would highly recommend. Thank you M

Lovely villa with amazing rooftop views

A perfect place for our Covid-weary family of four--two parents and two schoolboys--to spend a lazy summer week on the Med. Though the villa is in an estate of villas, once on the property one feels as though one could be alone in the hills such is the privacy offered by the bushes and trees as well as the undeveloped land leading down to the sea. The main kitchen and the roof kitchen are amazingly well stocked... the only dilemma was whether to chill by the pool or up on the roof.

Wonderful Getaway in October 2020

The villa was in a great location with a 10 minute walk into town and more than came up to expectations. We were apprehensive about going on this holiday due to Covid, but the resort felt safe and the luxurious appointment of the villa and its space, with 4 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms was perfect for our family of 5 to relax in without being on top of one another. The weather was very hot for October and we would spend mornings around the pool and then evenings on the terrace when it was cooler. A perfect villa with a very helpful owner who helped us with all our questions.

Perfect Villa

this is year number 6 for us in Kalkan and I can honestly say the villa was in the best location for easy walking back and forth into town, the villa is lovely, very nicely decorated and is seriously well equipped. The pool is fab with an amazing training jet stream for serious swimming. The rooftop area is perfect for those 6 o'clock cocktails and watching the boats come back into the harbour. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful villa with amazing facilities and views

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Villa Amelia. The owners have thought of practically everything from the luxury of the interiors to helping us to arrange our taxis from/to the airport with a local contact to having a water machine in the kitchen to save you lugging bottled water to the villa! It was lovely to be welcomed by Ibo (late in the evening) who enthusiastically showed us around the villa (and his amazing handiwork in putting in the new kitchen)! He was there whenever we needed him and along with the cleaners was always very polite and helpful. We loved the pool and the jetstream provided lots of energetic swimming! The location for us was perfect with the gentle stroll into town (and the odd taxi back to assist my elderly mother)! The roof terrace was a very relaxing and cool place to be in the late afternoon and early evening and the views were spectacular right across the Kalkan bay and town. The owner was very helpful before we went, answering all our (many) queries and putting us at ease with staying at the villa. Kalkan is a lovely fishing village which has still managed to retain its charm and friendliness.This was our 9th time in Kalkan but our first in a villa rather than a hotel and we would definitely return to Villa Amelia and would highly recommend it, Thank you for our lovely relaxing holiday.

We have been to Kalkan for Ten years and now have found the perfect place as our base. But that's all your getting, because if I told you more we may not have the villa when we want! Kalkan awaits you, so just come and fall in love?

wonderful villa

We stayed for two weeks over Easter and had a wonderful stay. The villa has everything you need and is within easy walking distance of the shops and nice restaurants. We stayed slightly out of season but had great weather. On the cooler days it was great to use the heated pool. We really enjoyed the terrace and spent the evenings playing cards with the children and enjoying watching the sun go down. Grover met us on arrival and was there to answer any questions. He also arranged our airport transfer as well. I would definitely recommend this villa.

We first fell under the charm of Kalkan in 2009 when we thought it might be a good idea to find a property in a sunny place to retire to. My husband is a Geophysicist and travels the world and I worked until recently as an Occupational Therapist. We live in rural North Wales close to Snowdonia National Park. We have two teenage daughters and three dogs.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I can remember seeing quite a few characterless villas which lacked soul along the mediterranean coast of Turkey in our search for a holiday home. I can still remember that drive over the hill and that first glimpse of Kalkan Bay and we immediately felt at home. It took us a couple of trips to find the right property in Kalkan. Whilst views are important in Kalkan so is position. In Villa Amelia we have found both. The property although recently renovated retains the charm of an older style property. It has fabulous views from the roof terrace yet is situated in quiet residential area and has a very short level walk into town.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have found this short walk to be entirely liberating for us as at home any trip out normally involves at least a 30 mile round trip. We are normally accompanied by at least four teenagers on any trip to Kalkan. We do not have to act as taxi driver as they can easily walk into town for a meal or to go to the beach club.

The heated pool really has extended the letting season for this villa. Swimming now from March to November!

Since we have added the roof terrace shade and roof kitchen we have had guests comment on how well it works for intergenerational living or perhaps two couples sharing a holiday. Perfect for young families who want to bring grandparents along but retain some privacy or independence from each other.
