After losing his wife of 58 years I bought my father back to the Mendips, where he met my mother and to meet up with his fellow Cave rescuers. This beautiful Dairy, was a wonderful place to stay.It's only a two up two down, but feels quite spacious inside and was perfect for the two of us and a large dog.The fit and finish inside is high quality and has lovely homely feel to it, Cathy and Will were delightful hosts, and we're extremely helpful and kind.

Cracking character village property in a superb location. As described with very friendly owners who couldn't do enough for you. A two minute walk to possibly the best village pub we have ever been to. Mark & Wendy

I'm so glad you had a good stay and hope the the electric fan kept you comfortable despite the heatwave. ( we're lucky the thick stone walls keep the heat out too!) Wonderful stay

Very lovely stay in the Dairy cottage. Very friendly hosts, lots of things to do in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet cottage

Excellent location, great for a relaxing get away. Cottage has all the amenities you require and small details provided by caring and friendly owners.

It is a charming cottage, very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable lounge and bedrooms.Cathy was a very helpful hostess and we enjoyed her lovely welcome basket.

Lovely Cottage and great location.

Delightful cottage, comfy bed, ideal location to explore the area. Helpful owners on site. Lovely walks from picturesque village and local pub with excellent food. Highly recommended.

Nice,

This place is a real gem. A very old building but nicely modernized which makes for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Nicely located in a small village, easy to get to local sites, and a great hub for day trips in all directions.

Change of scenery

Lovely cottage had everything that we needed Cathy and Will were very friendly/helpful and the touches of fresh flowers and a basket full of goodies was a very nice touch. Location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions really enjoyed the 4 night stay beds very comfy!

Lovely Cottage

Lovely cottage, perfect our stay for some cycle racing in the area. Cottage had everything we needed and everything worked well. Will be back next year as an Ideal location. Host were helpful and on hand if you needed anything.

AUG 24TH - 31ST

We really enjoyed our stay at Dairy cottage. It had everything we needed (including frìendly hosts!), in a lovely village with a shop, pub and playground. Lots to do nearby and as we had (mostly) lovely weather we got to explore the area including the seaside.

Tidy Cottage in small village.

A cosy well equipped cottage, the helpful friendly owners live close by in the event of problems, there is a spiral staircase which we managed without problems. The village boasts a shop and a Bar restaurant. We would certanly stay again if we needed to visit the area

Pretty little cottage

Lovely cottage and had all the essentials we needed. I would recommend this cottage - great location for us to explore Somerset. I made a silly mistake when I booked and forgot to include my son on the booking form but Cathy was very accommodating and understanding.

Thanks for the review Natalie. Really, no worries about your son being a surprise extra. It's so easy to miss a box to tick when booking a holiday. Luckily the bed was made up anyway and Im sorry I didn't give you an extra towel straight away! It was a pleasure hosting you all and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Our Stay at the dairy.

We found the host welcoming and very helpful.The property was very well equipped and clean and tidy. We were very impressed and had no problems at all we could not have wished for better.

Lovely week in a gorgeous part of the country.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well presented and had everything you would need. Cathy and Will were very friendly. Weather wasnt really on our side but we did manage to explore the immediate area and followed some gorgeous public footpaths in between visiting the nearby hotspots. All in all, a nice little break!

Lovely cottage in a stunning location.

What a lovely cottage this is. It has everything you could want for a perfect stay. Fully equipped kitchen and I mean fully equipped - loads of pots, pans and utensils. We cooked every day. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome tray was a lovely touch too. Local goodies and teas, coffee etc. much appreciated. The owners are really friendly and helpful too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A Haven of Peace and Calm

"The Dairy" is a little gem, hidden away in the depths of the Somerset countryside. Ideally located for visits to grand and imposing Wells Cathedral, or educational and exhausting Cheddar Gorge and caves or quirky and just 'out-and-out' weird Glastonbury. A little further afield is the East Somerset railway recalling the days when the Great Western line really was great and at the other extreme, the seaside at Weston-super-Mare. The village has a well-stocked shop, and the Westbury Inn provides an excellent welcome and great food. Would be happy to return any time.

Beautiful cottage

Cathy is a friendly host and she provides pretty much everything one can think of. The welcome basket was a lovely touch along with a welcome message on the blackboard. My son especially loved the popcorn and she even popped some milk in the fridge. The cottage is bijou with so many little touches that make it special. The bed is unbelievably comfortable in the main bedroom. The location is so quiet and at night one can see so many stars. The location is 10mins by car from Wells and Cheddar. Would definitely recommend The Dairy.
